Hampton Inn and Suites - Cherry Creek - جليندايل

Misleading pool pictures - pool was too cold for 2 year old (80 deg) which was disappointing, the hot tub was large and 102 deg which is too hot for 2 year old. The workout room only had 3 pieces of equipment and 1 was broken. The breakfast was fine - fresh fruit was available all throughout the day which was great. The rooms were clean - however, as for the shower it felt like you were going to fall through the floor. Also, the front desk did not have a first aid kit or wine opener.

Super comfortable pillows. Clean. Breakfast was delicious. They were really good about receiving boxes for me so that I could pick them up at the front desk.

Free breakfast (basic)

Friendly staff, clean rooms, everything I expect from Hampton Inn.

I was all over Denver and it took 10 - 15 minutes to get to any of my destinations.

Clean

very clean, comfortable, quiet. breakfast good for the money. next to whole foods, close to target, easy access from the interstate.

While our stay was for only one night, we have been trying many of the chain hotels in the area, to see which we will return to. Hampton Inn offered excellent value and accommodations. The staff were very welcoming, the location on Colorado Blvd was easy to approach, and the security seemed good.

Stayed 2 nights with spouse and 3 kids under the age of 10. The king suite with a pull-out couch and a rollaway was perfect for us and was a good deal financially. The pool and hot tub were good temp although the chlorine was so strong our eyes started to hurt just being in the area after a while. The staff was unfailingly polite, available and helpful. The breakfast was OK, but if you're not going to have someone cooking eggs and bacon/sausage, don't serve some microwaved mystery food products that are meant to resemble these things. We still don't really know what the egg-looking food really was. The rest of the breakfast was good - bagels, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit, etc. The weird eggs is really my only complaint. The rest of the stay was just great.

I really like Hampton. Only one recommendation - please back to high standadrs to keep hotel clean.

Cose to family and area sites

This hotel was very quiet and the beds were really comfortable. The staff, especially the front desk, was extremely friendly and informative. The TV was new and had a great picture. The hot food at breakfast changed every day so the variety was nice. This hotel easily accesses downtown, the west, and the DU campus. The traffic around the hotel was heavy which is normal for Denver in general. The room was clean although they forgot to leave new towels in the room one morning. The fridge and microwave were nice to have. The pool and hot tub were clean and were nice amenities to have. Whole Foods, King Soppos, and a discount liquor store were nearby also for snacks, food, and drinks.

Maintenance issues in the room included exposed carpet tack strip and rusted sink in the bathroom.

The Hotel and Room were nice, however need to update the appliances in the room (i.e. Microwave). Otherwise very nice place and very nice staff.

Hampton Inns always makes my stays very pleasant.

A little old and worn. Good service but hard beds

Safe, clean and close to downtown.

I have stayed at many Hampton Inn's, this is not the best reprersentative of the brand. There were several housekeeping andf maintenance issues that I brought to the attention of the desk staff: loose and falling shower curtain rod, loose sink faucet handle, empty tissue holder, hair on bath floor, broken drawers on TV stand/clothes chest. In addition, the inside of the elevator had been defaced and the elevator lobbys were dark, the third floor landing had an exposed, free-standing ice machine. While the staff was freindly and cheerfully accommodated our request for early check-in, the property is in need of capital investment.

We had an excellent time. The people on duty during our stay were incredibly helpful and understanding! Especially when our kids wanted to swim all night!

But it's good enough for Denver. The beds and pillows were first rate, as was the breakfast. Starbucks, Target and book store next door. Internet and parking are free. The Cherry Creek walking/running trail is 2 blocks away and Cherry Creek shopping is close (lots of high end boutiques and restaurants). We are rarely disappointed by this chain. But we think their frequent stayer program is not very generous, and they didn't have that excellent bacon a couple of mornings, but those are the only complaints.

Only hotel in this area that could accomodate parking a 14 ft moving truck. Hotel is clean and the staff was attentive and provided great customer service. On future visits to the area we would use this hotel.

Personable staff. Nice room. Decent breakfast. Enticing pool. Smart office station. Good parking. What else is there?

Did not have time to try out the gym or swimming pool but they looked very nice. I thought the rates were a little high but for the service I got it was OK

The hotel elevators were not working when we checked in, lugging our bags up four flights of stair was a drag. They were repaired by the next day. Pool was small but very nice. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast staff was rude. Front counter personnel were very nice. Over all a good stay.

Excellent. Hotel staff was wonderful.

We booked this hotel because we were to be driving 18 hours and we wanted a clean hotel with a pool and a hot tub to unwind, however the pool was FREEZING and the hot tub was BROKEN. This was not disclosed to us upon check-in and we were VERY DISAPPOINTED. The hotel clerk that checked us in and out was a bit RUDE, and when I asked for a receipt instead of simply explaining that booking through Hotels.Com provides their own paperwork through the confirmation sheet, he was a bit annoyed at my request, and talked to me like I was an idiot. The morning breakfast provided was good, however they kept running out of items, and the lady seemed also ANNOYED at a request to refill the sausage and bagel bin. They seemed NOT PREPARED for the busy breakfast that they take pride in offering. There were absolutely NO COMPLAINTS about the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the room, and the amenities of the room, it was very comfortable, since we had to spend our entire time IN THE ROOM.

Very comfortable room and bed. Close to restaurants and stores.

Hampton Inns are great

It's a very nice hotel with all the facilities that we needed. Pleasant pool area. Lacks local restaurants, apart from the cheaper chains. The guy on reception when we checked in did not know how to get to the nearest Metro/Lightrail station. Look it up under 'park & ride' Denver. University of Denver station is about 3 miles away & is about 20 minutes into town. Although the barriers are permanently 'up' at the car park, you have to pay $4 at a machine by the station. This is in full sun & almost impossible to see what details are needed!

Good service, nice breakfast, very good for families. We used a pull-out couch in addition to 2 queen beds to fit 5 of us in the room. It was crowded, but it worked. You have to ask to be put in a room with the pull-out couch but they got it for us.

Had pool with spa

Everything about this hotel was great for me and the reason for the lower overall rating was the bed was so hard and uncomfortable that I didn't get any sleep. This was a totally no smoking hotel however someone was burning some very pungent strong incense that would take your breath away the moment you stepped out of your room door. Fortunately the ventilation in the room kept the smell out. I think someone was smoking and using the incense to cover it up. I mentioned this to the desk clerk and was told they would check it out. Great hotel but if you need a bed a little less than rock hard take a memory form topper with you
