The Westin La Cantera Hill Country Resort - سان أنطونيو

The hotel sneeks in a $20/night 'resort' fee which is for the privilege of swimming in their pool and using their workout facility. When I informed them that we did not use the facilities, I was told that everyone is charged regardless - so be aware!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Every time that I did have an issue, i.e., requesting a room upgrade, key being deactivated during the stay, the front desk staff was very helpful and fixed all the issues. The pool staff and restaurant staff was excellent. Thanks for an excellent vacation.

Is conveniently located in la cantera, you have close mall and fiesta texas, perfect place to stay with the nature

Very nice hotel but not convenient for families. They have a small fridge for alcohol, no DVD player, and unless you use the valet, walking back from parking lot is a HIKE. However, I will say it is convenient because located to shopping areas and restaurants.

Only thing that was not good was some mildew in several places in the grout of the shower. Easily could be cleaned. Everything else was excellent. Every Westin employee we can into contact with was courteous, respectful and friendly. We love Westin properties!

The only problem we had was the first room smelled like pet urine. My wife has a very sensitive nose. They changed the room with no hassles and the rest of the stay was outstanding.

this Hotel is amazing, just a gorgeous resort, will definitely re-visit in the summer

We completely enjoyed our stay. The food at Francesca's was incredible the service was even better! The view out of this world. We plan to bring our whole family next time.

This hotel is a fantastic place to entertain your family of multiple ages. The hotel itself has several pools, a Wii / X-Box game room,library, restaurants, workout facility, tennis, golf, spa, etc... But it's also right next to Six Flags and La Cantera outdoor mall, plus very close to Sea World. Great hotel with excellent location!

Top qualtiy hotel that missed out on the Little things Room was great and the grounds are beautiful, but some addtional staff traing in order. Tried to order room serivce but no menu in the room. Did call room service and got. a order sent up but still no menu. Walked by several hotel workers durning my 3 day stay and no "hello or how are you doing Sir" Day 3 asked again for a room menu from the concierge, will send one up in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later had to call again. To help concerve, they offer a $5 gift card if you do not need your room serviced. Got the card day 1 but not on day 2 Left day 3 and Valet service was add for 3 days, I did not use the Valet serivce. The clerk took it off with out question but no , I am sorry for the mistake, All fixedable items, and will be interesting to see if they are fixed the next time I stay there.

Heres the list of complaints. We couldn't checkin almost an hour after 3pm. Room wasn't ready. When we left our bags at the front desk. We didn't get them delivered until almost 5pm. The room smelled. The hotel was suprisingly dirty. Elevator, handprints on the windows, doors, floors were dirty and needed a good scrubbing. The starbucks floor in the lobby was filthy. Now on to the pool. which is the reason why we chose this hotel. The pool area was over crowded and the pool wasn't clean. straws, paper, bugs, leaves in the adult pool. Nobody was swimming in the pool because it was dirty. When we ordered two drinks the waiter brought us the wrong drinks. We waited 30 minutes for two drinks. The drinks were of poor quality. I was very suprised at the lack of quality. They seemed to be understaffed at the front desk and room service. This hotel is extremely overrated and will not be staying there again.

This hotel is beautiful with an even better view. It is high in the hill country. Excellent!

Beautiful property, with spectacular views. The rooms are very spacious and decorated with contemporary and luxurious details. The hotel is very close to La Cantera Mall and Fiesta Texas. I enjoyed my brief stay and will plan to stay there again.

Since a funeral visit was involved, it was a quick overnight. Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. Would like to have a longer visit another time.

I LOVE this hotel, everything about it is excellent!!..

I have been returning to the Westin Cantera for a family vacation for the last three years. AS i ti is close to the Six Flags park and shopping at La Canterra I liken it to a lower cost trip to Disneyland. Staff are friendly and helpful and lots of activities for the kids in the hotel alone (they set up a kids park in one of the tennis courts with attendees and inflatable slides with some sports equipment. They also have loony tunes characters to join you at breakfast. One year when my toddler was crawling over the room carpet, his knees turned black due to dirt built up in the carpet.

We'd never stayed in a Westin hotel before and I have to say our expectations were more than exceeded! The resort was amazing and the staff was even better. They went over the top to make sure that my family was well taken care of. Every employee we encountered went over the top and was more friendly that I could have expected. We've never left our 4 year old in a public childcare but felt completely comfortable leaving him in the kids club while we had a nice, quiet dinner at their fabulous restaurant. Needless to say we'll be back again and again. Thanks Westin!!

We got a GREAT rate, so that helped alot. However, we had a few too many glitches for the status and rating of this hotel. They were usually fixed asap, though. We loved the activities they had for the kids, the food portions were good and huge and could be shared (which was great), the grounds and pools were lovely, the rooms were nice, the spa was great, the views amazing, the nature trail was beautiful, the amenities were all excellent, things we had requested for our room were there (extra bed and fridge) etc. Some of glitches: 1) no kid packets at check in 2) never changed the names on our rooms as requested, which caused check out to be a pain (we had two rooms - one for us and one for my mom) 3) Our first meal (by pool) was mixed up and caused a very long wait (we were not charged for the mix up), 4) air conditioner in our room did not work right (they fixed ours, but then our other room was warm) 5) room had not been vacuumed in some spots 6) requested a fan (b/c of some noise and air conditioner not working right) so brought up a VERY DIRTY Fan - huge clumps of dust blew off when we turned it on. In-room book says you can request a fan), 6) the "heavenly" bed in our room was not very comfortable, and there were indentions from previous sleepers. Like I said, almost all were tended to, just seemed to be a bit "off" for a resort of this type. Overall, we loved our stay. The kids had a great time, and they really do have some fun things for the kids - the animal show that is twice a week is so good, the s'mores at night are nice to have, the inflatable zone was great, the kids loved the pools. We loved the poolside free chair massages! The hotel is in a great location and absolutely gorgeous views.

We stayed 1 night at La Cantera. It was a quick getaway for me and my wife. We left the kids at grandma's and figured if we liked our stay we'd come back with the kids. The pools were nice, the food was good in the restaurant (only ate breakfast and quick lunch at Brannon's). They even had Bugs Bunny and Sylvester the Cat stop in. The staff was attentive even though they were busy running around. The family pool has a waterfall and a slide for the kids. They also had movies out on the lawn that evening. Looked like everyone was having a good time. The adult pool made for a nice getaway. The self parking is kind of far from the entrance, so keep that in mind if you're passing on valet. Looks like they also provided a golf cart ride out to your car if you asked. One thing going for this place is the view! The hill country is beautiful indeed. You could also request a city view so that you can see the fireworks at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which is right down the road. Great place to stay if the park is in your plans. Overall I'd give this hotel a good grade (4)...but from my previous travels to San Antonio, so far, our favorite has to be the Hyatt Hill Country Resort and Spa...with La Cantera in our top five. Not dissing, just saying...Either way it was a nice, fun & relaxing stay.

I went with my daughters for 1 of my daughter's 17th birthday celebration and we had a wonderful time staying at the Westin La Cantera Resort. The staff was so amazingly friendly and helpful. The place was beautiful and the pools were great! We stayed in a traditional room, but we thought in such a fancy place as that would have little nicer of rooms. It was very basic and not as "heavenly" as it describes. Overall the stay was fantastic and I would definitely stay there again. Fabulous shopping and food all around area!

This hotel has come a long way. We've stayed many times, and for a while, the service had suffered, but they seemed to have taken comments and actually turned things around. Service was great, lots to do for the kids, location is incredible and free shuttle to both Six Flags and Shops at La Cantera is a major plus. My husband says the golf is great and he has played all the resorts. All in all, we would highly recommend.

The accommodations were top notch. The food was excellent. On our walk on the nature trail, we were attacked by mosquito's...might want to spray the area this time of year. We ran back to the hotel. We would return to la Cantera...it was lovely and a great area for kids.

Muy buena opcion

Nos gusto mucho y a los niños igual, solo tuvimos un detalle en cuanto a la limpieza del cuarto pero lo resolvieron de forma inmediata.

EL SERVICIO EN EL RESTAURANT DEL HOTEL ES MUY LENTO...

No hay mejor hotel que este para ir de compras y que los maridos se queden disfrutandoo del golf, la alberca, el spa
