We enjoyed our stay at the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and made us feel at home!

I was pleasantly surprised at my stay at the LaGuardia Plaza hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Located very close to things and the transportation desk was able to get me a car within mere minutes of my asking. The only issues, for lack of better words, was the dim lighting in the bathroom, the lack of television channels, and that the a/c stopped blowing cold air on the last night. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone.

Overall a good stay nearby LaGuardia airport.

The stay was in general nice, however I had a negative experience with one of the customer service representative at the time of the checkout , I had to deal with her bad attitude since she was trying to over charge me 'knowing that I had already paid the full amount ("in advance"). Finally thanks the intervention of a supervisor it was possible to clear up the confusion. Again the stay was for the most a nice pleasure. thanks...

I almost checked out upon checking in! This place is in desperate need of a renovation. It felt dirty and I expected to see crawling creatures.

The service at this hotel was amazing! Pizza delivered for the kids, shuttle bus to the subway, over night parking, and a store inside for the little things you forgot! Breakfast left something to be desired but had fresh fruit and yogurt and cereal.

Hotel was very nice and very accommodating. We were upset that the breakfast was la king due to not making any more 1/2 hour before they stop serving. They had a talk with the staff and it didn't happen again and they also gave us a $25 credit from the in house restaurant/bar. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is Okay. Staff was friendly and helpful. I did not use the restaurant. The parking deck does not have an elevator, so unload luggage when you check in. The hotel is somewhat dated, but everything worked fine and was clean. You can't beat the location. It is very close to LGA. I sat in my room and watched planes takeoff and land. Wireless internet worked fine. They still have tube TV's

Due the high priced and lesser quality of hotel in Manhattan I try to arrive in the evening for next day early meetings. The rooms are much nicer and less expensive near LaGuardia and the trip to Manhattan is usually about 45 minutes.

Nice hotel and convenient shuttle to the train and airport, but there is not very much to do around the hotel. Not many dinning choices either

NICE HOTEL.EASY TO GET INTO CITY. LOTS OF FREE PARKING ON THE STREET

The hotel is inconveniently placed, it is not close to a subway station an is a 47$ cab ride from the city in general. Not convenient if you have business in Manhattan. There were not enough shuttles (only one an hour), but the cab drivers were great! It is an older hotel so the lobby is rough, with dull carpet , but the room is clean and served it purpose. The breakfast was lackluster.

This hotel is close to LGA and an easy bus/subway ride to city. Took the Subway to NYC both days we were there and it was an easy trip. Hotel is in need of updating but that was expected per the reviews. For the price it was worth it.

SORRY TO SAY MY STAY WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT HAD IT NOT BEEN THE RUDENESS I EXPERIENCED AS SOON AS I ARRIVE AT THE FRONT DESK BY THE CLERK DERRICK.EVIDENTLY HE WAS ANNOYED BY US ASKING WHY WE HAD TO PAY 2O DOLLAR FOR A FRIDGE IN OUR ROOM SO HE TOLD US WE DID NOT HAVE TO STAY THERE WE COULD ALWAYS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I HAD TO LET HM KNOW I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THAT WAS VERY INAPPROPRIATE TO SAY. OTHER THAN THAT THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN EVEN THOUGH THE CLEANING STAFF WAS LOUD AT OUR DOOR EVERY MORNING, CLOSE TO AIRPORT AND MUSEUM AND TRAINS AND BALL PARK,ALSO HAD RESTUARANT AND BAR IN HOTEL, GOOD SIDE WAS THE SUPERVISOR WE COMPLAIN TO GAVE US FREE PARKING FOR OUR INCONVENIENCE WHICH HELPED.

When I checked in for my event, the sponsors changed the event and I had to change hotels. The customer service rep was very accomodating and nice enough to cancel my reservations without charging my credit card.

Very clean room. Great dining experience. Ease of getting to the airport on the hotel shuttle.

The hotel is much better than I thought. I usually don't have high expectations for hotels close to an airport, but this one stands out.

Rooms were clean and quiet. The access to the fitness center and pool was great. The location is perfect and only 25 from the city.

Great for an airport stay. No restaurants within walking distance. Shuttle to pick us up from airport was 45 min. late.

I had a meeting in midtown Manhattan, but didn't feel like making it a day trip (who would?). It was Memorial Day weekend, so rooms were scarce and peak rates would surely be in effect. Didn't feel like staying in Jersey, or paying Manhattan prices, and the only other option on the table was some alleged roach motel elsewhere in Queens. So, I took a chance on the LaGuardia Plaza, and I'm glad I did. The hotel itself was well-kept, the staff was friendly and helpful (especially the transportation counter), the rates were affordable, the room was comfortable, and it was a short ride away from the 7 train. Yes, they have a free shuttle to the Mets-Willets Point station, but it's shared with other nearby hotels and can get a little overcrowded; better to use your MetroPass (you're going to want one if you're heading into the city at all) and pick up the local bus. The Q48 will take you to the same station the shuttle does, except 3-4 times more frequently (the shuttle only runs on the hour), and it will bring you back, too. From there, it's about 40-some minutes to the heart of Manhattan. Don't bother with the continental breakfast, either: For $10 a room (per day), it's pretty slim pickings, unless you're into fruit, toast, and cereal. Better to take the 7 train to Queensbury Plaza and then take the N or Q one stop north to 39th; there's a great little Greek diner that'll give you a good, hot breakfast at a very fair price. Affordable, clean, convenient; I'll be back.

When we checked-in we did not get attentive service. The person checking us in took 2 phone calls while checking us in & seemed very distracted. I would've rather had more attentive service. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bar/lounge closed too early for a Friday night. I was in there with my fiance & it was packed. The bar closed at 12:30 & it was way too early. That left us nowhere to go but back to our room while the hotel & bartender could've made more money. The continental breakfast was decent, but they need new toasters.

The hotel had a funky smell and service was poor. Site said breakfast included and when I arrived it was just for 2 when the room was for 4. Restaurant pricy for the food and staff was a bit snippy. They had a complimentary shuttle which was the only good thing. Would not stay again. Too pricy for quality!

I was hesitant on staying here because of thand found e some of the reviews but I am glad I stayed here and found that those reviews were not what I saw or received. My room was clean, the bed linens were clean, the bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries,and totally enjoyed my two day stay there. The cold breakfast was very good and the offerings were very delicious for the cost.The hotel is located by La Guardia but the hotel does have shuttles to the airport and to the local subway stop to enter Manhattan. Yes, I would stay here again and would recommend the hotel.

This was the cheapest hotel I could find during the long Memorial day weekend and hotel was certainly good for the money that I paid, so overall happy.

Only bar restaurant open,next location airport restaurants?

We stayed in an older room and the toilet did not flush properly. We were supposed to get a Full Breakfast but was told two weeks prior that they were no longer doing that. At the end of our stay when we were having issues at the Front Desk the Representatives were patient and helpful and gave us a "Welcome Back Card" for a lower rate the next time we visit. She also apologized about the hotel room and let us know that the hotel was under renovation. I guess the good part was that you couldn't even tell the hotel was being renovated so they hid that well from the customers!

We had a 3-night stay at La Guardia Plaza. We reached exactly at check-in time (4pm) and the management was pretty friendly, and efficient. Things got done quickly. We were satisfied with the room. Everything worked well, till, our last day when water ran out! We called the front desk and they said that they should have left a note. There was no note. Sigh. Then, we were given the keys to another room and we used the water there. Inconvenient, but again, professional and efficient management. Overall, a good stay. Just one small thing. We found the location a bit inconvenient because we had a car and had to pay a hefty toll to reach Manhatten. But otherwise, there is a free ride to subway station and that should work for most people. Good stay!

VERy good service...Was alittle disappointed when I took my grandchildren down to the pool...It seamed that we were ambushed by some high school kids..that got pretty loud...jumping in ..no concern for the little kids.. Also had to call security one night..as there was a very loud drunk couple..that was causing comotion in the hallway..at about 2:30 am..!!

TV in the room in need of upgrade to keep up with competitors. Windows stained and not clean.

This should be a nice hotel, but it's been allowed to deteriorate. Mostly, this is just an aesthetic issue. However, the toilet in my room suddenly refused to flush. I was on my way out and it became the maid's problem, unfortunately. Also, the desk personnel and the doorman were rather curt and uninterested. Simple, logical queries should be handled with a bit more grace. Also, for people with mobility problems or just heavy luggage, it should be noted that the parking garage has no elevator. All in all, a mediocre experience. However, very convenient for LaGuardia.
