The hotel was the usual Holiday Inn Express,,,,,always very nice!

This hotel is kept-up very well. It is near a shopping mall, too. If you are touring the Biltmore Estate, this would be the perfect place for you. The breakfast is delicious, too. It consists of scrambled eggs and bacon, along with the regular pastries you'd find anywhere else. Enjoy!

This hotel is at a good location, easy to find, off the highway, south of downtown Asheville. It is a nice clean hotel, I would stay at this location again. Check-in was a breeze, no issues. Lobby has coffee and cookies available. There is plenty of shopping and food nearby (mall not far). The rooms were nice and clean. The bed could have had more support, it was a little slouchy. Looks like the carpet could be replaced. It seems a little ratty, and out of place. The bathrooms are nice and big, along with the rooms. The breakfast they provide is above average for hotels, since they have things like fruit and yogurt. The have the standard affair as well as a pancake making machine. The juices they provide are actually pretty good.

I loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We noticed that one side of the hotel had balconies and we asked for a room with one. The view from our hotel room was wonderful . The hotel wasnt too far from downtown and the Biltmore estate. The staff was very helpful in directing us to different parts of the city. The breakfast buffet was really nice too. We will use this hotel again.

Everything is accessible within 10-15 min. A mall is across the street. Room is spacious and enough for a family that uses it only for sleeping.

Close to River Arts District and entrance to Blue Ridge Parkway; also close to the second Tupelo Honey Cafe, which is less busy; cookies and coffee always available in lobby.

First of all.. We paid a lot for this hotel, I think it's because of Christmas. We booked a king suite. So it's spacious. No complaints there. The hotel as a whole has an old look, so is the room. But you can check off the list. There's a micro wave and a fridge in the room. The carpet just sucks. it needs to change. The pillows are small. The bed is comfortable. There is no moisturizer in the room may be its a southern thing. Thank God I brought mine along. There's a patio but we couldn't open the door, since its locked from the outside. (There was a beautiful scenic sunrise. Wanted to capture a picture, but couldn't. 0 The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and the shower is good too. The tv channels do not match the schedule they have in the room. The breakfast was good. You won't go empty stomach. Overall an OK experience. If we dint pay a lot, I would be Ok. Since we paid a lot, am whining.

first stay at a holiday inn express and was very impressed the comfort of the beds and pillows and huge hdtv made the experience very pleasing.

Two of us stayed overnight for an early morning event on Dec 15, 2012. We arrived late and checked out early. Picked this one because it's close to the gathering place for the balloon ride on Saturday morning after sunrise.The room is fairly clean and comfortable. However, the heating system was too loud to have a good night sleep. Got up early the next morning, I forgot to take my coat that was hanging in the closet after I checked in. Didn't realize it until the next Tuesday. Called back in the morning, unfortunately, the hotel couldn't or didn't find the coat. I am a little disappointed although it was my mistaken in the first place left the coat there. I was hoping to be able to retrieve it. Guess that's a little too much to expect.

Stay was great. I did not like the $10 charge the motel socked me with. My receipt from Hotels.com said paid in full.

Great place great stay

Price was just right for the distance to Asheville. Beds very comfortable and room was clean and up to date. Downsides: No microwave, towel hook was missing in bathroom and tv guide listing was not updated. Breakfast was decent too and an added bonus. Overall though, would certainly recommend.

Very accommodating - very good bargain for the price

It was great just wish someone had told us about the additional charges for going through a third party

This is the 4th time we have stayed at one of the Holiday Hotels, we chose Holiday because of the cleanliness and free breakfast, service and friendliness of employees.

We were looking for a hotel convenient to the Biltmore to spend the night after a long day there. This hotel was very clean and nice and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our stay there. The only down side is that it didn't seem to be conveniently close to restaurants or shopping. There's a mall across the street, but it was very dead.

One of the cleanest hotels ever. Very comfortable beds. Suite section not so great. The bedroom was barely seperated from the sitting area. The Tv was on a bedroom dresser and couldn't be viewed in the sitting room by itself. So really it's basically a hotel room with a tiny uncomfortable loveseat that has an annoyingly located fridge under the TV. There is also a tiny microwave and 1 cup coffeemaker in the room. The towels in the bathroom were rough as sandpaper although very clean. Continental breakfast consisted of mostly cold food and warm refrigerated beverages. Would highly not recommend!

Probably the most restful stay ever. Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed and mattress were perfect and we loved the room setup. Balcony was a nice touch. May have just won me over to holiday inn express.

Great place to stay. Hotel was very modern and clean.

It was wonderful and clean I just wished we could have a view of the mountains.

Were going to the Biltmore for the day and hotel was only a few minutes away by highway, Easy access off of 26 south. Beds comfortable and place quiet and clean.

Was only for one night. The standard room with two Queen size beds was inviting, spacious and immaculate and my standards of cleanliness are very high. The mattress could have been a bit firmer. The front desk personnel very helpful. I would definately stay there again.

I was shocked that the Hotel was only a mile from the Blue Ridge Park Way. The hotel was great, with great staff, and very clean rooms. If your looking for a place with nice rooms and good breakfast then this is the place for you. Oh and Free Cookies too!

Just what we needed after a long day on the road.

Generally very good with a few exceptions - TV guide did not match the channels, Heat/AC fan did not shut off when temperature was reached and was therefore difficult to hear the TV because the volume control had a limit.

It was very clean and breakfast was good. The only thing was bed was to soft for me.

the hotel was excellent staff very helpful & friendly. breakfast was good.coffee couldhave been better but most people say Im a coffee snob so, maybe it wasnt that bad... only complaint could be the elevator, it was slow and they only had one functioning at the time. thankfully we were only on the second floor and healthy enough for a flight of stairs so thats what we did.

Needed a reasonably priced hotel for one night, between kids' football games. Our stay included breakfast - albeit not IHOP, but certainly satisfied appetites of 3 boys! Room was clean and bed/pillows were comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Just about ten minutes to parking in downtown Asheville.
