Nice hotel and great location, very pretty view behind hotel. People were friendly and helpful.

This is the alternative place to stay if you don't plan on spending a lot of time at the beach or hanging by the pool. This hotel provide excellent service and the rooms were very clean. Perfect for those who are checking out the many attractions of Myrtle Beach.

I booked the hotel thinking it was going to be really close to Broadway at the beach and all the fun places, we ended up driving 30mins both ways. On arriving at the hotel, we noticed used soap in the bathroom, facial tissues were like 4 pieces left. The pillowcases were not ironed; totally not inviting. The bed creaked everytime I sat on it and I am a 150 pounder. The bathroom sink had a few cracks. Breakfast was good (although only one day of sausage gravy), price was very good- so I guess you get what you pay for, nice view of the harbor from breakfast room, great corridor, very lovely lobby, and everywhere had a nice beachy smell. Customer service was fair. I hope this helps.

Great location, friendly staff, and very nice room.

First of all, when I registered for (4) nights in this hotel, I asked for a room close to the elevator...for some reason, they gave me an accessible (handicapped) room with only one chair for the desk...no other chair to sit in...the room was accessible to wheelchair occupants and the closet was too low to hang most clothes...so, I had to keep them in their suitcases, which meant pressing each time I changed....when we asked for another chair they told us there was no more (?????) ...therefore, one of us had to either sit on the bed (eww..) or stand....needless to say, we spent most of our time out of the hotel...otherwise the room was clean, most of the staff was courteous...Please inform all of you hotels, that a room close to an elevator, does not mean "accessible"...

My stay at Holiday Inn Express was wonderful, Joy at the front desk was customer focus and friendly, the location of the hotel was idea for getting to the beach and places to eat.

well,when I made my reservation I asked for a pet friendly room,I was assured that was what I was getting,nothing was mentioned about a pet charge of $25.00 dollars per pet per night. On saturday 5/18/2013 my friends and I went to the crab festival,When we came back around 4 pm,I was locked out of my room,and was told I had to sign a pet agreement,and it was gonna cost me 25.00 per pet per night(,I have 2 small dogs) so I was gonna have to pay an extra $150.00 that I was not expecting because I was never told there would be a pet fee! This is just not right! To say the least I was very frustrated,and disappointed!!1

Excellent location if you want to get away from the crowds but still access the beach.

Hotel Clerk was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Rooms were clean and overall very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was short, but we enjoyed the hotel as usual everything was clean and neat. Breakfast eggs and coffee were better here than most Holidays Inn Express Hotels we have stayed at. Ken at the front desk check in was very helpful telling us about the area since were from out of town for the day. All and all nice place. Only small inconvenience was there were no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Had to put of left over dinners and water to keep cold in the one in the lobby. And we bought a home in SC so our mission was accomplished in 24 hours!

I enjoyed my stay although I was out of my room more than I was in it. It was a pleasant an quiet stay. The staff was wonderful and hopefully my girls n I will be returning soon.

Super nice people - next to yacht club, close to beach, AWESOME restaurant (Clarke's) next door!!

I was only sorry that we could not have stayed longer, but plan to go back soon!

Would recommend this hotel to family and friends. very convenient to Myrtle Beach or North Carolina

we had a great time. Cleanest, friendliest place we've stayed in for some time, and breakfast was great, too.

Me and my family enjoy the stay and we will stay again

The hotel is located in the marina and had a great view, if you enjoy that atmosphere. It was very clean and the help was very welcoming. The breakfast bar included: eggs, pancakes, sausage, bisc & gravy, coffee, juice and more which you can enjoy in the dining area that overlooks the marina. Great price & if we ever visit the cute town of Little River, would stay at this hotel again.

We had a great time. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast was wonderful!

We needed a place that was pet friendly and close to sunset beach. This hotel was clean, reasonably priced, pet friendly and it was available on short notice. We Had dinner next door on the patio and walked our dog around the marina. It was just right for a weekend getaway.

Front desk staff were especially helpful and friendly.

Hotel location was close to the casino cruise we had reservations on. The rooms were very clean and the service was very good.

We have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express and were far more comfortable. We had to check out earlier and could not get cooperation to get a credit for the last day.

We drove 8 hours to get to SC and were tired, so we slept late and put the late sleep sign out. But the housekeeper never came back to clean our room. The hotel manager says that they have up to 3pm to double back to clean rooms of late sleepers. We left our room at 10am and came back at 2pm and our room still wasnt clean and the housekeeper wasnt coming back. I spoke to the manager again who listened to our compliants but had the nerve to say that I had to understand that they had a full house and the maids were busy!! I told her that an UNACCEPTABLE answer!!! One of the housekeepers that wasnt assigned to clean our room, cleaned it but the purpose for us coming back to our room at 2pm was to take a nap but since the room wasnt clean we had to leave our room and sit while she cleaned the room. This to me is poor mangement! If it's a holiday weekend and she has a fully booked hotel get enough housekeepers to service all guests satisfactorily!!!!

Hotel staff accommodating. Housekeeping excellent. Hotel isn't close to anything. It rained most of my stay and hotel felt very damp, even my clothes felt damp. Checkout is at 11am. The hotel clerk allowed me to stay until noon while I debated if I was going to stay an extra day since the sun finally came out after a week as I was about to leave. For the money it was worth it, just try not to stay when it's raining!

Enjoyed it. Absolutely great reception at check-in.

We were staing at this hotel until the beach house we were staying in was ready. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful.

I found the Holiday Inn Express clean, roomy and comfortatable. I left a "Resort" on the beach that had every ice machine empty, a bad bar and an unimpressive room. Next time I will book the Holiday Inn Express for every day of a North Myrtle Beach vacation.

The hotel was modern like I liked it. My room was fairly clean but there were rips in the bed set. The front desk lady was nice, but assumed my husband and I didn't have enough money to go shopping at expensive stores so definitely felt disrespected. But it was fine. Would I ever stay there again? Maybe for one night but not a couple nights in a row. The breakfast wasn't worth anything so it's good that it was free. Sadly my husband and I just went next door to mc Donald's and then went to the hotels back porch and looked at the water.

The stay was enjoyable until we returned to the room, we requested a non smoking room with refrigerator and microwave and we had neither. The bathroom was a handicap accessible, plus we had to use a can of lysol spray to kill the smoke odor since they stated they had no available rooms to change.

GREAT STAY, CLEAN : IN TOWN FOR FUNERAL NEEDED TO CHECK OUT AN HOUR LATER SO I COULD COME BACK AND CHANGE CLOTHES THE CLERK HELPED ME OUT AND ALLOWED ME TO HAVE THE ADDITIONAL HOUR. GREAT SERVICE .
