Quality Hotel and Conference Center - بلوفيلد

This hotel had a club in it . I was scared when I saw the people that were coming in and out of it. There was broken glass and food all over the floors. You can tell its a place where people go to party and then rent a room to crash.

Staff was very friendly; breakfast was good. However, our friends had to move twice as they suspected bedbugs in their room. We checked our mattress but there were none. The room was okay; not great. It looked worn.

We were very disappointed in this hotel. So much so that we changed our travel plans and checked out the next morning and sought out other accommodations. We did check the mattress and box springs for signs of bed bugs. They were clean. But the bed skirting was stained, the curtains had cigarette burn holes in them (in a non-smoking room), the pillows were worn and flat, the bed matttress was so worn that if you sat on the edge of the bed, you slid right off, and only two of the four lamps had working light bulbs in them; but we did get a tip! We found loose change under a bedside table! Makes you wonder when the room was last really cleaned. We went to the lounge for drinks where the server exclaimed, "Wow - six people! We're really busy tonight!" Lifted my eyebrows! The service was okay, but not exceptional. This hotel needs some real help and renovation and does not deserve a three star rating. My advice - STAY AWAY!

Good, comfortable room. Nothing terribly fancy, but clean, generally up to date, and reasonally priced.

Looking forward to our next stay. Only thing that could have been better would have been an elevator. Great breakfast choices. Excellent, friendly staff.

Desk worker could not direct us to the hotel when we were within about five miles of the hotel. For a long time she could not find anyone to help us. Otherwise it is a mediocre hotlel.

This place is a dump. Choice Hotels corporate should take a little bit of control of the situation there. All corridors smell of smoke and stale beer. Staff is very friendly, but they can't buy new carpet for the place. Bugs in the bathroom.

The major complaint we had with the hotel was the poor way the continental breakfast was handled. Both mornings they ran out of coffee and we had to ask to have it restocked. One morning there were plenty of pancakes but the syrup ran out; the next morning, there were two pancakes on the bar but a full bottle of syrup. It was as if the staff in charge of the breakfast bar did not monitor it properly; guests had to go to the front desk to let them know we were in need of various items on the food bar.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful when we asked to change one of our rooms to 1st floor due to the age of one of the people in our group because of no elevator. The free FULL breakfast buffet was a pleasant bonus.

Not a luxury stay but sufficient. The only habitable hotel in Bluefield except for a Comfort Inn that is several miles away. Everyone is very friendly, wireless access is free and fast. The place is very traveled but I am seeing some improvements underway including new TVs and club chairs in rooms. I stay there one weekend /month to see an ill family member, so I am stuck there. Seems expensive for what it is, but again, it's really the only joint in town. Nice breakfast spread on Sat and Sunday mornings. May be weekdays too - not sure.

It was a nice hotel and clean, employees were nice and very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, it was very clean, fairly new, and the bed was comfortable. The staff went out of the way to make the stay nice.

We were placed in a single with 2 roll aways. Airconditioner smelled moldy, and there was mold around the top of the bathroom tub liner. Directions from i-77 were very hard to follow, no signage at the exit. Inadequate parking.

This hotel was a joke. Some of the staff was rude, others just poorly trained. Check in took over 15 minutes. An elderly guest fell and cut his knee at the hotel entrance and no one helped the man. I assisted him and his daughter in front of two of the staff who sat there and just talked. At check in this same man found that his rooms booked two months ago were given to another guest. When I went to my room, I found that it was already occupied. This is hotel basics 101. Holiday Inn should be ashamed of this one.

The room was clean and the location wasn't bad. Beds were very uncomfortable..no fridge or microwave in room. I was able to check in early, at 3pm. And the clerk on staff was very helpful in giving directions. The other clerk i spoke to about getting the toilet fixed was not as helpful and it never got fixed during our stay. Don't expect to eat at their cafe, it's very poorly ran. It also says they offer room service, however, we were informed when i called to order that they do not.
