NH Doelen - أمستردام

يقع الفندق في موقع متميز في وسط مدينة أمستردام بالقرب من القنوات المائية و المناطق السياحية و غيرها. الفندق كان عبارة عن مبنى تاريخي في الأصل و لذا فان الغرف ضيقة, بيد أن الخدمة تقدم في جو من الدفء و الرحابة ويبدو ان الأمور تجري على نحو سلس.

طاقم العمل في الفندق رائع, خدوم و متعاون . الفندق ذو طابع تاريخي جميل و موقع مثالي يتيح الوصول إلى كل مكان. الغرف ضيقة بالمفارنة مع المواصفات الأمريكية لحجم الغرفة و لكنها مريحة.و بالرغم من وجود حوض استحمام كبير و رائع! إلا انه يفتقر إلى وجود خزانات و مساحة لتبديل الملابس. من ناحية أخرى, تجدر الإشارة إلى كمية الضوضاء غير المحتملة و المستمرة طوال الليل و التي قد تضطر المرء إلى إغلاق النوافذ و لكن حينها قد يواجه الحر الخانق. عدا عن كل ذلك, فان الفندق قد كون انطباعا جيدا لدي.

قمنا بالحجز والدفع للحصول على غرف ذات مواصفات تتضمن كونها من الدرجة الأولى و لغير المدخنين, إلا انه عند وصولنا, حصلنا علي غرفة بمواصفات عادية و في الطابق الخاص بالمدخنين. كانت الغرفة تفوح بعبق السنين و تبدو عتيقة للغاية. إنني غير راض عن خدمة موظفي الاستقبال لأنهم ببساطة تجاهلوا تفضيلات الحجز التي طلبناها, لقد أدركنا أننا لم نحصل على غرفة من الدرجة الأولى عندما وجدنا أنفسنا في غرفة تخص المدخنين...لم تكن هنالك أسرة إضافية في الغرف...أو مناشف... أو حتى أكواب إضافية!! هل انطباعي واضح بالنسبة إليك...من الناحية الايجابية يتعين علي ذكر خصلة حميدة... ألا وهي الموقع الجيد و الهادئ

Staff friendly, location excellent, has seen better days and I'm sure once renovated rates will go up.

Hotel elegant and well appointed with friendly and efficient staff. Found the room comfortable although on the small side. Mattress was way too soft for my liking so did not get a good night's sleep, unfortunately. Otherwise, great location and very convenient to all the major tourist attractions. Would recommend the hotel to friends and colleagues.

Hotel was in a great location, no more than 10/15 minutes walk to all the main points of interest. Rooms could probably do with a bit of modernisation but they were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pretty pricey at €20 each or €15 if you book a day in advance but there are plenty of places near the hotel to choose from. Wifi was pretty temperamental.

Zeno at the front desk was very helpfully.

My room was tiny. Barely could stand in the bathroom. Had a Twin bed. House keeping was terrible. Bad Hotel. Great Location though.

Booked a superior room which was then upgraded to what was called a junior suite. Nothing like a suite, just a larger room. Dread to think how small the regular rooms must be! Was worth the fabulous view though...beautiful. The hotel has original period features in reception and fantastic stairwell...however looks as if the rooms were last upgraded in the sixties and forgotten since then...peeling paint....grubby decor...creeking floors. Customer service inconsistent...ranging from very good to very poor. In theory had wi fi in room but connection impossible most of the time. Double bed turned out to be two joined up single mattresses.

everything was great, specially the location, close to everything. the entrance is beautiful! the rooms however where not super clean. not the whole room, particularly the bed. the bed linen was a bit old and that gave you the impression that it was not as clean as it should be.,

Soundproof wall are NOT soundproof. I could hear my neighbours' TV louder than my own. Rooms look very run down. I was disappointed with the appearance and standard of this hotel.

good location. not in the midst of madness but close. room was good size for older european hotel but we had a larger/superior room was worth it. clean and staff was courteous and helpful.

Fab but very very noisy

Grand lovely weather and staff at the hotel were acomadating and friendly

We stayed in the Hotel for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. The Hotel is located in the city center but in a quite place with a canal outside the door... The room is a bit small, but still comfortable and with a nice atmosphere. The hotel employees were always nice and helpful. We also recommend the Company Coffee next door to the hotel (there is an internal hallway connecting them), part for the coffee it has comfortable armchairs, canal view and WiFi.

I expected that hotel will be a bit better (taking into account the price), but in general it was quite good. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Awesome restaurant next door to the hotel – it’s great to have a breakfast on open terrace sunny morning. Location is very good – 5-7 min walking to Dam square and Red Lights district.

Found the hotel no problem. Very good location for all local sights. Was disappointed with the room decor and size. Room wad not ready on arrival so was given an alternative as we just wanted to dump our bags and go out. The roim eas very old fashioned and although we had asked for a twin it was only a double. On a positive i will say the staff were very nice and helpful.

the hotel was very clean and we had a lovely greating from the reception staff on our arrival, all the staff very nice and made our stay very comfortable, would recommend this hotel if u like the quieter end , but short distance to the main attractions i mayself would stay again at this hotel

We are three boys from Norway who stayed at 313. We were orignaly just 2 persons but ordered a extra bed in the reseption, which they fixed right away. They were also fun but polight. The placement is perfect , you are not crammed in a part place, but you'l just have to walk 5 minnutes to be ;)

Overall a very good hotel with excellent staff and good location

We stayed at NH Doelen over New Year and for 4 nights. We asked for and got a quiet room with views over the water. We loved everything about this hotel and our stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful; very nice room, slightly old-fashioned but we loved it -reasonable size, too; room rate via Hotels.com was great. We have previously stayed at Eden's American Hotel, twice, but thought this far nicer -and better value- in many ways and would come back here again whenever we can. Top marks to NH with whom we have stayed in other parts of Europe over the past couple of years. Great coffee shop adjoining, too.

The location of the hotel is excellent but it is quite run down, the rooms are very small and the noise from the streets so bad that you can hardly sleep at nights. Not worth four stars - three at most.

Price – reasonable for early in the week and over doubled from Thursday night. Location – great location. Walking distance to trams, restaurants and all attractions. Room – Beautiful bathroom with plenty of bench space. Very comfortable room although on the small side Staff – extremely friendly, English speaking and very, very helpful. Arranged a beautiful candle light dinner canal cruise – reasonably priced. Amenities – free wifi in lobby – not in room though.

Good location for city centre, tiny old fashioned rooms.

The Doelen has a lot of history, from Rembrandt to the Beatles... it's in a great location, with the Amstel flowing alongside the hotel, which is mere steps away from the flower market and canal crusies. Also, it's only a ten minute walk from Dam Square. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a great visit!

Too bad they don't mention city taxes of 4 euros per day. Safe is 25eur deposit.. Late checkout is extra 30 eur.. Nice view, very good location.. Wifi you can get from coffee company or from the lobby if you are in the first floor. Otherwise wifi is ~10eur/day..

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I have no complaints at all and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

this hotel was in the midle of af the city. museumplain, rembrandplain, redlight are maximum 1 km away in different directions .. :)

Very friendly and helpful staff allowed us to check in at 9.30 in the morning and even upgraded our room. The downside was that the mini bar was not working and the room was overdue a makeover but we had marvellous views over the canal which more than made up for that. Great location within walking distance of all the sights but just out of the hustle and bustle of the red light district. Would definitely use this hotel again.

I loved staying here ,the location was great as it is close to dam square.Lovely wee bars close to the hotel and the room was spacious and clean.It also overlooks one of the canals so a nice view.

The hotel was very clean and the staff where more than helpful.And the location was great as it was close to dam square and beside a canal were we where able to sit and have a lovely cup of coffee every morning. BLISS.

The rooms are on the small side, BUT the area hat it in you don't spend a lot of time there. Way better being out and about in the area. All kinds of thing to do and going on.

Placed in a quiet yet cozy street in the centre of Amsterdam, the NH Doelen provides great service from friendly staff, that seem to enjoy their jobs--even if they don't enjoy it, they don't make it your problem. We, arriving late at night, were very tired, and filling out forms was the last thing we wanted to do. But the receptionist was very helpful and patient and we finished in no time at all. We then went to our room and found it to be the perfect size, with enough space to be able to move comfortably, but not too big or small--also keep in mind we ordered an extra bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and housekeeping was very generous with their complimentary toiletries. The room was also very accomodating, supplied with a kettle and safe--both worked well, bless them. The staff was very helpful when we wanted to find places to eat. They managed to track down an old memory from thirty-five years ago, which made our day! And while waiting for our dinner guest to meet us, we discovered a nice lounge to relax in, away from the lobby area. Overall, the NH Doelen was a very good hotel, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free hotel.

This has a terrific location, walking distance to everything. HOWEVER! This really is a run down, tired hotel but with modern day prices. Our room needed a total reno, the T.V. was so old, I half expected the Lucy show to come on. We did not try the very expensive breakfast, unable to secure local financing. In room coffee was a kettle you plugged in to a socket half way up the wall - had to put it on a chair to reach. Although the staff were top drawer, cannot recommend this hotel.

Old hotel with old, warn furnishings, but clean and well maintained. It was ideally located in Central Amsterdam, within walking distance of all of Amsterdam's major sites and museums. Rates seemed high, given its old furnishings and small space.

Hotel is wonderfully located, but because it is in the university area, it was somewhat noisy at night. Like many European hotels, there was limited access to free internet. Our room was generously sized, and the minibar refrigerator made it easy to store food for picnics. Amsterdam is otherwise an expensive city for Americans these days!
