Holiday Inn Express Kansas City-Bonner Springs - بونر سبرينجس

All was good until Tuesday. The breakfast lady put away breakfast before the time was up. She was also very rude. I have never experienced this situation before.

Last day there the lady in charge of breakfast closed and put it away before breakfast ended. She also had a bad attitude and it appeared she didn't like her job.

Everything was OK, with the expection that we had a smoking room and wanted a non-smoking room. I'm not sure whether I was asked my preference or not. I may have just assumed that I would get one if I didn't specify the need for a smoking room.

The lady who waited on me was very young but sounded old in the business. I was very impressed on how knowledgeable and with her attitude. Everything was great and we appreciated the fine hospitality.

I reserved three rooms, yet the reservation clerk still found it necessary to charge me $10 for a requesting a roll-away bed. Although he was friendly, I feel he could have worked with me on this matter. Hotel not convenient to restaurants, in fact, several restaurants in the area are closed. I wouldn't go back if you offered me a free stay. Not impressed with Holiday Inn, I'm going to stick to Marriott.

Close, comfortable, good stay.

Very close to interstate and alot of traffic noise. Pool is very small.

Put us in a king room smoking and we had 4 people in our party. Said they didn't have a double bed room available. No room for roll away and my son is allergic to smoke. Couldn't handle the room and all of a sudden has a room for one night and our reservation was for 2 nights. Most horrible experience and clerk at front desk was NOT honest!! Her name was Laura.

Very clean and quite. Short drive to legends was nice.

Front desk was NOT very polite or overly informed about their own property. Not worth the price

The room was not cleaned well. There were paper scraps behind the lamp tables next to the bed, The shower curtain had an extreme buildup of mold and mildew on it and did not fit the shower properly. The tiles in the bathroom were losing the grout and could not be properly cleaned. Not what you would expect from a holiday inn express.

Because of the great customer service, my family decided to stay one more night instead of getting a hotel closer to where our next day's festivities were going to be. It was a convenient location (close to the Speedway, Legends Mall, Nebraska Furniture Mart, etc.). Great facility. Clean and friendly. The staff went out of their way to help accomodate our family, even when the hotel was almost completely booked. Great service and very happy about our stay!

Only complaint was the noise of the highway all night. The window in the room was not very soundproof and sounded like it was open. Everything else was great including the staff.

We have stayed at this hotel since it first opened, and have always been pleased. Clean ! Friendly service, full breakfast that was stocked with hot food even up to the 10:00 am ending time. The room air-conditioners are very easy to control and maintain a comfortable level- and block traffic noise. Close to Legends mall, and a short drive to Zona Rosa.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Room was not clean-dirty bathroom, dirty carpet, dusty furniture. Ice bucket had not been emptied. As for service, no one appeared at check-in desk for a few minutes when we arrived. When he finally did, he acted so disinterested that I thought we may have woken him from a nap (at 5:00pm).

I've stayed at this hotel maybe 4 times over the last 8 years and the hotel is fine, but there are more options now than before. I'll probably look to try one of the newer options next time I need to visit this area.

Great Hotel. clean and large rooms, nice decor. Excellent and friendly front desk staff.

hotel was very close to speedway which was great. However, booked one king bed and they gave us two queens :(

It was in a great location. The only downside is that the weather was really hot when we went, and we wanted to stay in, but they didn't have movie rentals. We were forced to watch TV instead which was fine, but a movie would have been nice.

I know they are doing some remodeling, but I originally picked this hotel as it was the closest "business" type hotel to a job I was doing and I only really have two big things I need - one a breakfast every morning and two, internet. The internet was out the whole week on my floor which is very bad for me.

Excellent hotel staff. Great recommendations for places to dine. Very convenient to Kansas Speedway. Great place to stay.

We stayed in this hotel, just outside Kansas City due to the KU graduation. The other Holiday Inn Express in Lawrence, KS was already sold out. Granted, they were in the midst of remodeling, however we were not told that when we booked through Hotels.com. This HIE didn't even have a business center so we could print our flight tickets home. The breakfast was something to be desired, we did opt to eat at the adjoining Waffle House the next day. Bonner Springs is a quiet, very small community and in reading the HIE book in our room we ventured to 'downtown' to check out a couple restaurants. All that was Open was the biker bar/restaurant - which we decided to not partake in. I don't think I would stay in this Holiday Inn Express again. The people were very nice and acknowledging of the construction but it is certainly just a place to lay your head for the night and not much else.

The desk clerk at check in was outstanding. She made good suggestions for our stay. The bathroom floor was sticky and the entrance light flickered so we didn't use it. I understand they are renovating the property but for the price it was not what I expected.

We could not get in our room. the electical part was broken. No matinence person there . Spent the night in another room. Wasnt very Happy. The service people were nice and tried to help. I blame holiday Inn for not having someone available to help us get in our room

The attendant at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She was also very professional. She brightened up our stay.

Make sure you're up early if you want to catch the breakfast bar. At 10:30 it was cleaned up. The pool is closed by 11 so a night soak in the hot tub after along day was a no-go. Everything else was very nice. The bed was wonderful, very comfy. The showers a little wimpy but most hotel showers tend to be. The front desk lady was very nice. I would stay again.
