On The Ave Hotel - نيويورك

حظيت بإقامة جيدة جداً هنا. الفندق أنيق للغاية ومن الدرجة الأولى وقد حصلت على الغرفة مقابل سعر رائع!

أهم شيء بالنسبة لي هو النظافة وكون السرير مريحاً أم لا. الغرفة كانت صغيرة الحجم ولكنها نظيفة بطريقة مثالية. السرير الضخم كان صلباً للغاية ومريحاً. نمنا أنا وزوجي بشكل جيد للغاية وهو شيء غير معتاد بالنسبة لنا عندما ننام في الفنادق.

كان هناك الكثير من الإنشاءات خارج الفندق والتي لم يحذرني منها أحد قبل قيامي بحجز إقامتي. عندما وصلت, طلبت غرفة بها حوض إستحمام, فما كان منهم إلا أن وضعوني في غرفة تُطل تماماً على الشارع الذي به أعمال الحفر. عندما طلبت تغيير الغرفة, فعلوا ذلك فوراً ولكن كان لديهم غرفة واحدة فقط متبقية. كنت سأصبح غاضباً جداً إذا لم يستطيعوا نقلي. ملاحظة أخرى, كان السرير غير مريح إطلاقاً. لقد كان صلباً جداً ولم يساعد أي قدر من الوسائد. درجة حرارة الغرفة كانت أيضاً من الصعب تنظيمها. طاقم العمل كان كله لطيفاً بحق والموقع رائع.

مثالي في كل شيء! كنا سعداء بالديكور وبالغرفة. طاقم العمل كان متعاوناً جداً. الفندق على مسافة بضعة مباني سكنية من حديقة "سنترال بارك" وقطار الأنفاق. الفندق هاديء بشكل فاجائني أيضاً! سنقيم هنا مجدداً بالتأكيد في المرة القادمة التي نزور فيها مدينة نيويورك!

The room was lovely except for the door to the adjoining room. There was no sound barrier between the two rooms. Also staff were very talkative in the hallways which carried into the rooms. Restaurant was great. Attention to a room issue was prompt and efficient.

While the rooms have been finished, remodeling continues in the lobby. Only 2 out of 4 elevators were working, and one of the two was out of commission for a day and a half.

Great hotel would stay again on my next visit close to lots of lovely places

While I am not a fan of the way in which the hotel re-decorated the rooms - and the lack of a chair, I like this place very much and have stayed there multiple times. It is safe, clean and very convenient to restaurants and public transportation. It is also quiet, and the rooms, while not spacious, are still very comfortable.

Great staff and location in the UWS. Rooms are clean and modern. Walking distance to great eateries and bars on Bday and Columbus, as well to central park, yet very quiet and relaxing. Will certainly come back.

During my stay, April 2013, the lobby was under renovation. My room had been renovated already with a simple, modern design. The room was very nice and clean, if a bit small. The queen-size bed was wonderfully comfortable!! There were great little reading lights attached to the headboard.The blankets were warm. There were lots of electrical sockets on the night tables and throughout the room for all electrical devices. There was a safe in the room. The bathroom was great, if a little cramped. The bathroom had marble walls and the steel sink and counter. The shower stall was of a very generous size, and it had a European-style shower-handle/showerhead. The air-conditioning work well. There was a large flat-panel TV on the wall, but I never used it. There was a iPod speaker-dock-clock on the night table, but it only had an FM band, no AM band for news and weather. There were coffee and a coffee maker in the room, but I never used it. The one major drawback to my stay was that I had to pay for wi-fi, $14.10, including tax. :-( I would recommend this hotel, and, if I ever needed to be in the area again, B'way and 77th, I would stay there again.

You do not have control over the temperature of your room. The temperature of my room steadily increased over the days I was there as I was told the A/C had not been turned on for the building. They recommended leaving the window open instead - I can't do that due to allergies, and this is peak allergy season. My room simply got increasingly uncomfortable and stuffy while I was there. Strange thing is that the lobby area was nicely air conditioned. It's a shame since the rooms themselves are nicely furnished and clean while small. Would not recommend, would not go again.

The people up front are great. always welcoming with a great disposition. I love the renovations they've made. Bed definitely loves my back. Always happy to stay here. Can't wait to see how much better the lobby is after construction.

Very nice hotel. Great beds! Beautiful bathroom and walk in shower. Keurig coffee maker was wonderful to have in the room! Lobby was under construction so one of the elevators not working and lobby not usable. Can't wait to see the finished result. Nice Italian restaurant with late hours attached with great food. We used several times, but Hostess was quite rude one night so we did not return. The only downside of the room was that the furnishings were so modern, that there was no comfy chair or drawers to put your clothes in so had to live out of a suitcase for a week. If you are only staying for a weekend, this would not be a problem, but for a whole week, it was a bit inconvenient. Location was nice and safe! Two short blocks to the red line subway. Would definitely stay again, but not for a long trip.

Great place. rooms are being remade. brighter with better lighting. I was a fan of this place before but now they're becoming more "current" in their style. bed was great.

I have stayed at On The Avenue Hotel many times, but on recent visits I found the hotel was not being maintained. During this visit the lobby was under construction and only two of four elevators were operating. Although this is was an inconvenience, I look forward to staying at On The Avenue in the future.

Great location to Central Park West and West Side. Would stay here again.

Don't ever pay $300/night when a hotel is under construction. Also the rooms were thin-walled and light from room next door filtered in and you heard your neighbors walk and talk like they were in your room!

We enjoyed our stay and found the staff very welcoming and accommodating. The room although not very large was clean, nicely decorated and functional. Tje bathroom was a little tight however I was very pleased to see a makeup mirror available! The only downside was the common area renovations going on during our stay which limited access to some of the amenities.

walls are little thin, could hear the spoiled brat next door yelling at her parents. Much better once they checked out

Excellent value considering NYC hotel prices.

The room is very small, the hallways smell bad. No parking in hotel.no Internet.

I've stayed at On The Ave three times over the past few years. The staff is always friendly & they have clean beautiful rooms in an ideal location. Just a short walk from the 1 train, & some very good reasonably priced resturaunts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend On The Ave to anyone staying in Manhattan.

The conditions in the hotel were very poor as they were remodeling. Three out of four elevators were turned off so they wait was very long. My room was on the 12th floor and I found that using the stairs was easier than waiting for the elevator! The staff was very pleasant particularly since many people were unhappy.

I was given an upgraded room - nice! The room was clean, large and comfortable. The only issue was that some of the elevators were not working due to construction, and I was on the 12th floor - walked the stairs after waiting 10 minutes for the elevator. UGH! Everything else was great.

The room was too small. It was hard to adjust the water temperature in the shower. Overall, the room and hotel was very nice, with great service from the staff!

Good and quiet location, nice staff, very comfortable bed although the room is not big enough. Overall - I will probably stay there again. I warmly recommend it.

And The Lord commanded, "Let their be stainless steel. Brushed stainless steel." And the people amassed this lightweight and durable ingredient and sent it to On the Ave. and On the Ave's. architects cleverly deployed the stainless steel to create the illusion of modernity and roominess , as well as avant garde, in otherwise boring rooms. Said The Lord, "trust me it worls" and so it does. But, beware the elevators while the hotel is being refurbished. Half of them are out and the other half are arthritic. So, if you will be using the elevators to Go up or down, be exceedingly patient. Bring along a book or, better, pack a picnic lunch to take up some time. The hotel is located I'm a great part of town and do take advantage of that fact

The neighborhood I want; on street parking. Yes, renovations and construction but nothing awful. Two thumbs up.

I like staying on the upper westside and this hotel was a perfect fit for my needs. Very business friendly. Staff was extremely attentive. I had a problem with the heat in my room and engineering responded quickly to solve the issue. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

Upon check in we wondered why ear plugs were on the bedside tables, and after a horrible nights sleep due to construction across the street, we got it. 2 of 4 elevators were also out of service leading to long waits to get upstairs. Rooms are very small and basic.

This hotel was clean, modern and well-appointed, in a nice neighborhood on the upper west side. The staff members we encountered were pleasant and helpful. At the time of our visit, there was major construction right across the street, so the immediate neighborhood was a mess. There is also a hook & ladder company directly across the street, with frequent alarm calls, so we opted for a room in the rear of the hotel to minimize street noise. One thing worth noting is that if you reserve one of their "superior" rooms, you may or may not end up with a king-size bed. That was unclear to us, and we were initially disappointed to find a queen-size bed in our room. But they explained that the "superior" designation refers to the square footage of the room, which is larger than their lower priced room. For a New York hotel in this price range, it was quite adequate and the bed was very comfortable. We'd go back again.

Got two upgrades free of charge staff was friendly. Rooms were small but comfy beds very clean and nice shower. My gf was not happy about the lack of bathroom fan. Otherwise everything was perfect. Oh yeah slow elevators. Neighborhood was very nice lots of food stuff to do movie theater nearby plus museum of natural history. Central park is close to do.

This hotel is fantastic! The customer service was the best I have ever experienced. I received a free upgrade to the penthouse suite. The room was newly renovated, and had clean modern decor. The terrace wrapped around the corner of the building which allowed me to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Central Park and the Museum of Natural History was close by. I highly recommend this hotel!

As you walk in the aroma of sweetness welcomes you along with the nice people at the front desk. The concierge was very kind and helpful. Where to Park? right next door at HERTZ rental. Just let them know you are staying at the Hotel and have the ticket validated by the Hotel and pay $25 for 24hrs, and don't be late or they will charge another $25. Can't beat that $1.00 hr in NYC, Upper West Side nonetheless. The area is very Family oriented and quiet. Central Park is not too far and worth walking. Great Markets, Stores, Pubs, Restaurants, Museums all around you. There is some construction going on in the Hotel - renovations also across the street but its ok no noise, great people, housekeeping very nice. I will be back can't wait! Love the OTA this is a good SPOT!

Its very modern and warm...it has a cozy feel that makes you want to stay longer and not leave. Ideal for being able to feel at homeaway from home.
