I think if we were just looking for an overnight then be on our way this would have been ok. A little bit too rowdy for me. Had to call the front desk as several guests were drinking and having loud conversation outside our door. They were pretty quick to disperse them. Just didn't feel very safe in the area.

Excellent hotel. Recommend staying here if you are in Washington area.

only complaints are the beds were oddly higher in center than edges so i constantly felt like i was rolling off and front desk staff could have been a bit friendlier and faster. All in all a great value and i would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was ok. Clean new rooms. Area left a lot to be desirred. Not the best looking area seemed like an area for truckers

It was just as advertised -- clean, convenient, and inexpensive, in fact better than expected at the price.

To be fair, there was really nothing wrong with the room other that what appeared to be some patched-over bullet holes in the wall and there was no carpet except a square piece under the bed for some reason. But the hotel is a bit off the main road in a dark and questionable neighborhood. There were definitely some very shady characters hanging out around the hotel and cars pulled up and left all night long. The desk clerk was not very friendly and all in all we did not feel welcome or safe there. It may be okay for truckers but I wouldn't recommend it for families.

My stay was very relaxing. The only problem I had is their tolerance for noise. A customer who's room was close to mine kept letting her kids run up and down the sidewalk in front of my room. Other than that my stay was nice. The room was nice and clean and I love the way the hotel was remodeled.

it was a nice hotel for the price.

Overall good for a very cheap hotel. Need to work on odor control, since they allow pets. The odor was not overwhelming, but it noticeable at times. The business King room is quite comfortable. Location is not easy to find. Need more signage.

driving along I-66 to DC, if you like us can HOV2+ will take only 30 minutes. otherwise, the traffic could be painful.

The overall quality of the room was good. Clean, soundproofed walls. There was a major negative, however. The WIFI was just terrible; nothing more than glorified dialup. If you have no need to use your computer, than this is a good choice. Otherwise, choose elsewhere.

Although the rooms were upgraded at Red Roof Inn, I did not like the location. Plus there were uncaddy looking lurkers in the area. The rooms were upgraded but the bathroom was overlooked for cleanliness. I guess work is still in progress and the staff was pleasant. Plus unless you are in a super king you have no refrigerator or microwave.

It was a cool place to stay, ease of acssess was key. I wish they had complementary breakfast.

Good buy for the money, very clean and comfortable.

The quality of the room impressed me, being much more than I anticipated. This will be my hotel of choice whenever in the Manassas area.

For the price I'd say that the hotel is REALLY clean and offers great service. However I found it inconvenient that it didn't have a fridge or microwave in the room. Overall it was good though.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a quick getaway to DC; room was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient, only a block from I-66, and 15 miles from the Vienna Metro Station, and there's a McDonald's next door. The only (minor) issues were the locations of the ice/drink machines (one per floor, at the ends rather than the middle) and the bathroom light and fan (on one switch, couldn't leave the light on.) All in all, we were very satisfied; will stay there again if the opportunity arises.

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and then again this weekdn- WOW what a huge difference! The rooms are all made over- new flloring, tvs, couintertops, sinks- great job! my only comp;laint is that the AC wasnt working 100%

Staff was courteous, room was adequately furnished and clean. No type of breakfast except coffee. Ok for a nights rest.

Everything was updated in the room and the bed was very comfortable!

Stayed here a year ago and was a typical cheap Red Roof Inn. needed a cheap place for an overnight business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the renovations. it was very nice with the hard wood floors, flat screen tv, clean and refreshing look.

Clean and comfortable for the business traveler. Would not venture out after dark.

After looking for half an hour for a hotel in the Fairfax area and finding hotels that cost more than a hundred and ten dollars I was so excited when I found the Red Roof Inn of Manassas. Reading the reviews I had high expectations. This place is great. The staff was wonderful, the room was amazing. I love that the room has hardwood floors. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Manassas, VA area.

4 star hotel at a two star price based on neighborhood. Nicer than a Hilton in the room

I have been staying at this motel frequently for the last 8 months. Recently remodeling has begun and the changes are very nice. New furniture, floring and fixtures have made a big difference. I would not be hesitant to recommend this hotel. While it is not a 3, 4, or 5 star hotel, its value and comfort are now more than acceptable

The hotel was under construction and we were told we would be put on the opposite side of the hotel. We were actually put right above it. The hotel needed the renovation. The room felt small, smelled moldy and damp. The window wall a/c unit was so loud and gave a loud clang about every 10 minutes. Just as soon as you forgot about it.

I really enjoyed my stay and I would consider staying in the near future, if needed to do so.

Overall my stay was great the rooms were clean and not too bad until I was woken up by the sound of scraping and hammering...apparently the hotel was doing some remodeling. The front desk attendant failed to tell me this when I was checking in, and now that I think about it, she didn't tell the people who were ahead of me that they were remodeling. I was so livid..might be a good idea for everyone to be on the same page and to let people know this ahead of time so they aren't ripped out of their sleep wondering what's going on.

AS REFERENCED ABOVE, THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN ,INCLUDING LINENS AND TOWELS. WHEN WE ASKED FOR EXTRA TOWELS, WE WERE ACCOMODATED IMMEDIATELY AND GRCIOUSLY. MAID SERVICE WAS TIMELY AND THOROUGH. WE FELT COMFORTABLE IN THE ROOMS ALTHOUGH WE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED COFFEE MAKERS IN THE ROOM RATHER THAN HAVING TO GO DOWNSTAIRS. WE FELT THE SURROUNDING AREA WAS NOT THE BEST AND EACH NIGHT WE OBSERVED GROUPS OF YOUNG MEN HANGING AROUND THE PARKING LOT AS WE RETURNED FROM DINNER.......FELT A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE. THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMODATING AND PLEASANT AND HAD A SENSE OF HUMOR WHICH WE APPRECIATED......OVERALL WE HAD A PLESANT STAY WHICH WAS QUIET AND WHAT WE NEEDED AT THE TIME.

I reserved a non smoking room and had to move 3 times to find a room that didnt smell of cigarette smoke. Even that room smelled and if I hadnt prepaid for room in advance thru hotel.com, I would have gone somewhere else.

Close to fast food restaurant, supermarkets, room is clean, AC is a bit noisy though.

At first my reservation was not reflected on the Red Roof list but one quick phone call to Hotels.com and they were able to resolve my problem quickly and efficiently. The staff was also very helpful with respect to my needs.

Main reason we looked into this was b/c it said there was an airport shuttle available upon request. Once we got there, they informed us they had no such thing. It was supposed to be non-smoking yet my children's room definitely smelled of smoke. It seems they advertixed free breakfast too, and there was none. No coffee in the room at all.

I was surprised! It was pretty good.

The room was clean but when we went into the bathroom there were bugs on the floor. We nervous about putting our things down

After we check in to our room. I am very disappointed. 1) The room is very small, specially the bathroom. 2) No hair dryer 3) The bed sheet not clean at all 4) The room smell like someone P on the floor.

If you're looking for a good value, this would be the place. It was the best value I could find in the D.C. area, though the location is not ideal. It is about 30 minutes from D.C. by car. But the room was nice and up to standards.
