Rooms were nice not real up to date. Not good if you are a light sleeper. Staff is not friendly. I just wanted to inform them of an issue with the room and they came down on me like I wanted a free room. I guess they have a lot of complaints.

this room had the dirtiest bathroom celing i have ever seen. it was so bad, i only stayed one night and went to another hotel for the balance of my stay till wednesday morning. the girl had the celing cleaned, but i was so discusted, i could not stay there. i asked for a manager, but there was not one there until monday and by then i had made my move.....

Our room was clean, comfortable and the cost was appropriate. The staff were professional. There is no pool was my only disappointment.

Staff were very friendly & close to arena (we walked), but room had a bad smell, although seemed clean.

Bed bugs ruined my two weeks holiday.After flying 24 hrs from Australia to enjoy the Chicago area I was two hours getting from the airport to the hotel becuase the shuttle only runs once an hour and i missed one by a minute and the driver was busy dropping people off some other place.The first night I woke up with bed bugs chewing on my ear,fave and arms.The next days during my holiday I spent getting medical attention,feeling unwell and iching day and night without sleep.Huge blisters for weeks after.When I told the people at the hotel about my bites they just shruggled their shoulders and did not make one attempt to help me are say sorry.The breakfast was a joke.Muffins ,Bagels and coffe that was it!There was no internet unless you paid extra and had your own computer which I didn't.Never in all my years of travel have I run into such am apauling hotel.I stayed there years ago and remember it being such a pleasant experience,not this time.

perfect for a business stay. Really a ppreciated the lake and park in front of the hotel and the target center 3 blocs away. Reception at the hotel was just OK but overall stay was good.

I only stayed one night, but it's really designed for longer term. Small kitchenette, nice sitting area, comfortable bed. Fridge was a little noisy but not too bad. Staff were extra polite and helpful. The breakfast which they advertise as "super buffet" is anything but (Otis Spunkmier bagel or muffin in cellophane, coffee and oranges, period). But I'd stay there again, price was right and place was convenient.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!! There is nothing DELUXE about this hotel. My flight got in late to O'Hare, and I needed a close place to stay which had an airport shuttle. I should have known what I'd gotten into when I noticed one of the other shuttle passengers was a man taking a prostitute back to the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, checked in and made it to my room, I found that my room WREAKED of smoke, and I was supposed to be in a NON-SMOKING room! I went to the front desk to see about changing rooms, and the person at the front desk had left and the lights were turned off. The front desk is supposed to be staffed at all hours, but as I couldn't find anyone, I had to go back to my smoky room. In addition ot the room being smoky, the hotel is crawling with meth addicts. I had three different people knock on my door during the night looking for the same person - all were meth addicts looking for a dealer. I tried to report this to the front desk, but again, no one was there. The next morning when checking out, I complained about the front desk not being staffed overnight as well as my smoky non-smoking room and was told by the girl at the front desk that "the front desk is supposed to be staffed all night, and we can't control if people want to smoke in the non-smoking rooms." Talk about horrible customer service. Bottom line: Unless you're a meth addict looking for a fix, avoid this hotel at all costs!!

Great place for business travel

Would not use the shuttle to transport us to a local event (2.2mi). Terrible mattress made for an uncomfortable night sleep. No mention that there was no breakfast on the weekends, left us scrambling to grab something before the event. Overall, not a good value.

This hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. I was very pleased with all aspects of this hotel. We were attending a concert at the Allstate Arena, and were very pleased to find that the hotel was within a short walk of the arena, and they also provided a free shuttle service to the venue. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice my stay was!

When we checked in, the first room we were sent to had a broken TV. The second room we were sent to had a broken lock and we couldn't get into it. The third room was not a king size bed as we had paid for, but it was the only non-smoking room left in the building (queen-size) and we were tired of lugging our luggage around by this time so we took it. Note: The girl on duty was the only human on site--and she was wonderfully accommodating (Christy!). So SHE saved our opinion of this hotel. You owe her a thank you as we would not come again if not for her.

The hotel is clean and large. Everything was fine. Bathrooms and linens were spotless and so was the kitchen.

No weekend housekeeping service. No weekend maintainance. I called with a complaint about the DVD player because it was broken and they would do NOTHING. Also, though I did nothing to make it happen, the bed was way too firm and uncomfortable and I woke up the last night with what amounted to a broken hip, it HURT THAT MUCH!!!

We stayed just one night but we imagine that it would be great if your staying longer too. Large rooms and kitchenets make you feel more like at home. Don't expect a great view from your window Continental breakfast is actually coffee and donuts. Great hotel for the money.

This hotel's location, price and convenience of a kitchenette are great! However, be prepared to come to a poorly cleaned room. And do not expect housekeeping to come clean your room during your stay unless you're staying for at least a week or more. That was what we were told when we inquired about our room not being cleaned. The blanket and bedspread were also dirty with hairs and something red and sticky. We ended up stripping the bed and used our own bedding, which we had to purchase. We stayed for 6 days, not one passing of a vacuum, fresh towels, toilet paper or soap! We had to go out to purchase cleaning supplies before we could even use the kitchenette! Talk about gross! So, IF you decide to stay here, bring your cleaning supplies, a vacuum and clean bedding. Needless to say, we'll never stay at this hotel again.

Everything about our stay was great, with the exception of the molded coffee in the coffee pot from the previous guest.

It was a good value for the money. Great to have the ability to cook and pots and pans are provided. Had a nice pasta dinner with wine for much cheaper than at the restaurant. The room couldve been cleaner but they only clean it after each guest leaves and not everyday. Anyway it was good for the money.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful with directions. The room was very clean and more than I needed. The neighborhood was quiet but pleenty of shopping, good restaurants, and convenience stores but no traffic noise at all. Breakfast was skimpy, bagels, fruit and coffee only. Would definitely stay again.

Wish the shuttle to the airport was 24 hour. There was also hair on the bathroom floor, other than that, not too bad!
