It is a nice hotel. I stayed for five nights and enjoyed it. Probably will stay again soon.

Very good

Hotels was great, from check in to departure. Had no issues and loved the hot breakfast.

so good.Very comfortable.liked beds,breakfast.Microwave and fridge in the room are plus.Very Close to suspension bridge.

It was very convenient to Lions Gate, and many other attractions, the breakfast was a full breakfst and that was good. The rooms were very big and comfortable.

This hotel has a very decent breakfast. The person who is in the breakfast area, IS THE BEST. Even though he is very busy, he tried his best to refill everything..from scrabble eggs to pancakes. The hotel should add another help in the breakfast area to help the present person, because even though he's trying his best to serve all the guest, things just so overwhelming for just 1 person. He is so courteous too.

Hotel was located on a main street but more in a residential area. 1 minute drive from bridge that connects to stanley park. and a 15 minute drive to downtown vancouver. Clean hotel, good customer service and decent continental breakfast (small kitchen but you can always take breakfast up to your own room, however they do not provide trays, and food runs out fast) Would return only with a vehicle since there is hardly anything besides gas station and denny's within walking distance.

Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and warm and the breakfast was amazing. I'd reccommend it anytime.

Good hotel near grouse mountains. Only 10 minutes drive from Vancouver city. Clean. Good breakfast. Off season price was very compatible. Recomended.

Only complaints: towels looked dirty, the bathroom fan didn't work well, and breakfast wasn't all that great. But hey, it was free with the room so whatever.

This did not meet my expectations of a 3 star hotel. The room was either freezing cold or boiling hot and the heater clanked away all night. The buffet breakfast was poor at best. The bagels were stale each and every day, one day there was bacon but no eggs and the next day only eggs. The coffee was terrible. The redeeming features were the easy wifi access in the room and the location was convenient to Hwy 99 into Vancouver and West Vancouver, plus lots of services on Marine Drive, i.e. Save-On Foods, BC Liquor, Starbucks, Tim Hortons and restaurants. However, next time would try one of the other hotels on that road.

Hotel was nothing to write home about. Food was average with stale bagels, salty bacon and eggs that ran out before breakfast ended. Kitchenettes were sparce for dishes, only two of each (plates, cups, forks, etc) as were the towels in the washroom. One plus was the staff were friendly and helpful.

We only spent a short time at this hotel but for what we wanted it was just fine. Room was not luxurious but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and locatoin convenient for access to Hwy 99 to Whistler.

The North Vancouver Hotel is a very good place to stay if you don't mind motels. The room was clean and well maintained. The customer service was excelent. We had power failure when used the microwaive but it was fixed in few minutes. The only cons - the pancake maker didn't work for breakfast.

Owner was very ignorant and unhelpful, room was freezing cold even though heat was turned up to 85 degrees. No quilts or extra blankets offered in room, had three kids sleep in their clothes to keep warm. Advice - stay at the travellodge a few doors down, may be a few more dollars but at least the people are friendly and you will get some sleep. This was the worst night I have ever spent in a hotel.

Nice rooms- very clean - easy to check in and check out.

We stayed there for 8 nights. The lady would come to tidy-up the room everyday. She would just do half the job. She would take out the trash, and change towels that's it. She didn't even vacuum the room everyday. Worse was, one day, she left our room's door wide open!! she must have done that around 1pm or so, and till get got back at 7pm, the room was open to anybody. we had our laptops, iPad, iPod, SLR-camera, cash, visa documents, and passports in the room. When I called the front-desk lady to show the open door, she said "yeah, that cleaning lady might not have pulled the door very hard." Luckily for us, nothing got stolen; but that gave the hotel an excuse saying why make a fuss if nothing got stolen! We were so angry with the whole thing. Otherwise, breakfast is OK. Rooms are quiet. North-vanc is a good place to stay. Bathroom, kitchen, u-wave, fridge, TV worked.

Convenient location with free internet, parking and breakfast. However, hot water was a bit of a problem and had trouble getting any in the morning.

This hotel worked for us because of its central location in Vancouver. The hotel is a bit old and the decor a bit tired. But, you can't expect a lot for the price we paid. The room was clean and comfortable, very basic amenities.

Rooms were clean for a nights stay and location not too far off the beaten track. Would stay again

Perfect location for our needs - pleasant staff, clean, incl. breakfast which was not expected. Older hotel but very well kept considering age.. Good beds but needed extra blanket which was quickly provided by office. I would stay again & would recommend.

just a quick 2 day business trip to Vancouver (North & West) and this hotel is conveniently located and offered a decent rate. Adequate room and handy to have a self service breakfast set-up. Minor negative point is the fact that all guests park their vehicles in the courtyard outside the downstairs rooms. Some guests made a nuisance of themselves by selfishly let their car engine "warm up" at 6 AM! When requested, the hotel staff took care of noisy guests having a 'party' outside our room after midnight.

The only thing i found upsetting is the breakfast only ran untill 9:30 when checkout is 11

Clean and comfortable motel-style room with entrance to the room directly from the parking area. Check-in clerk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the room rate but was not worth it. The quality of food was not acceptable -- all served on paper plates in a cramped room that looked like a big closet. If you choose to stay here, go somewhere else for breakfast.

Close to the bridge to Stanley park and Capilano Suspension Bridge. It's a little "tired" but value for your money. They have a nice complimentary breakfast (pancakes, bacon, waffels, toast, cereals, fruit, etc.).

Excellent location and we appreciate the drive up to your room Motel style. We booked 3 nights but decided to stay one more night because we found it so convenient and comfortable. The breakfast menu was excellent. We loved the pancake machine which made perfect pancakes every time. Earl's and a wine store were walking distance - very convenient!

Not a bad place, but pricey for a "motor style inn" all units are open to the street.

good service friendly staff and big rooms

We enjoyed staying at the North Vancouver Hotel. It was a very clean and quiet place. What we were really impressed with was, the Breakfast every morning. We've stayed at many places and there usually wasn't a Breakfast at all. That was a bonus, as, we were set for the most part of the day after that. Everything was at arm's length such as Gas Station, stores etc. If we ever need a Motel in Vancouver again, this is where we would stay, thankyou. Sincerely, Sonja

I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel very clean and quite a bit nicer than I was expecting. No complaints at all. The staff at the front desk were helpful and kind. Our first hotel stay with our baby and I would definitely stay there again.

Desk person busy so she was not able to refill the continental breakfast items. Said a second staff did not come in till 8:00am which did not help people with other appointments Otherwise a nice place to spend a night.

We couldn't sleep even one night! There were people there who made lots of noise and the hotel staff didn't do a thing!

Probably my worst stay in a long time. My original assigned room was about 15 meters from a busy road (Capilano Rd) so I asked to be moved. They had no other King beds available so they moved me to a twin Queen room, which was apparently the "restroom facility" room for the painters who were painting the hotel. I found this out when one entered my room unannounced in the late afternoon. In the morning I went down to breakfast at 8:30 a.m. to find that they had run out of eggs and bacon and the person before me was nice enough to split the remaining 4 sausage links with me. Apparently the ration they had allocated for the day had been exceeded. The last bit was at 9:30 a.m. I had fully placed the do not disturb sign in the outside lock but housekeeping decided they would like to make up the room at that time rather than wait till the room had been vacated. I only stayed one night and that was enough.

Perfectly good budget hotel. The main problem is that the breakfast room is way too small - buffet breakfast is better than average, but finding a seat to sit down and eat it is not easy.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Located on a very busy street, very noisey, and we were on the first floor and could hear every movement of the people upstairs. Breakfast was good: a machine that makes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, cereal, fruit. Laundry room is functional but very run down. I would stay there again, I would try to get a second floor room off of the main road.

This was our second stay at this hotel and were very satisfied with the service, easy to find, and great location. The breakfast variety was good. Staff were friendly and informative. We definitely will come and stay at this hotel next time we come visit Vancouver.
