i love this hotel and always stay here when i come to London. the hotel is in an amazing location. they have a great staff and great concierge. highly recommended. Rooms are slightly bigger than most European hotel rooms.

The hotel overall is quite nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, but not as close to the tube for ideal. Hotel restaraunts excellent. Hotel room well laid out, but suffered from an undersized comforter on the bed, and nothing better than Luke warm water in the shower. Both issues mentioned to the front desk, but neither were rectified.

his was our second visit to The Metropolitan London. The rooms are nice. The staff is helpful. The location is convenient for theater, the sights and shopping. A great place to stay.

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday over the Easter weekend and decided to stay at the Metropolitan. We had a fabulous room on the 6th floor overlooking Hyde Park. The hotel left a beautiful box of goodies for my daughter in the room. The staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional. The attention to detail at the hotel was first class. There is even an underground car park right opposite which only charges £18 for the weekend if you book on-line. We will definitely be going back to this hotel.

Phenomenal in every category...period! You will not be dissapointed. I can't wait to go back!

The Metropolitian is in the Mayfair neighborhood of London, which is very rich and posh. This hotel certianly looks the part, but not for the price. Its located very close to The Hyde Park underground stop on the Picadilly line. This makes getting anywhere in the city very easy. The rooms are a bit light on the decor, but comfortable overall. The bathrooms are spacious and modern. The bar was under contruction while we were there, and the on site restaurant, Nabu, requires reservations a month in advance. Overall a nice place with a great price in a great location if you are visiting London.

We enjoyed booking the reservation through your organization. It made the process easy and the staff was very knowledgeable about all of our options. Our experience at the Metropolitan was great from the moment we arrived on the property we were made to feel very welcomed. Also the conceigerie, Natalie was extremely helpful with her suggestions. We had a lovely room with a great view! So glad we stayed at the Metropolitian!!

I was surprised by the exceptionally poor service at this hotel, given its status. There were never enough people working at the front desk, which meant a long wait every time I needed something. My room was not available until an hour after normal check-in time. The in-room safe was broken, and it took a great deal of time for it to be replaced. Room service meals took far longer to be delivered than at comparable hotels. There are others in the area that I will choose in the future for business travel.

We had a wonderful stay. We were treated very well. It is a great location, safe and comfortable. There are numerous great places to eat and drink right around the corner. London's great shopping areas are within walking distance. Take a cab to Harrods for 6.5 pounds. We were able to walk to several great attractions. This hotel was a great value for us and our visit.

Great hotel, great service. The michelin starred NOBU (Japanese) is attached, which is fabulous BUT book in advance. Across the road from Hyde park & close to all other main attractions. Breakfast & room service is expensive BUT very very tasty. (I would go for breakfast as late as possible so you can make the most of it & eat as much as possible.

Right next to Nobu, one of London. best restaurants, a short walk to Le Boudin Blanc (one of my favourite restaurants in London) the Metropolitant hotel is a great location to base any trip to Central London

Very sophisticated feel. We are more laid back but just loved the clean, chic, minimalist atmosphere. We most enjoyed being able to walk around the corner to Shepard's Market area for down to earth meals. Easy walk to Picadilly Circus area for us New Yorkers but taxi not that expensive if going short distances to any London attraction. My husband was approached in early am hours by limo offering things unspeakable.

Very prestigous location. Good design but lobby is not impressive. Staff helpful and friendly.

The Metropolitan is centrally located and easy to get to. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I did not care for the decor and ambiance of the hotel as it was very modern and austere. But all in all, it was a non-eventful and comfortable stay. And the Massage Therapist gives wonderful massages.

Ficamos 5 dias hospedados , com uma equipe formidável , sempre muito atenciosos. O quarto estava sempre limpo e o serviço de concierge muito bom!!!

Dette var en meget hyggelig opplevelse. Hotellrommet var stort, med sofa i tillegg til store senger. Nydelig utsikt over Hyde Park. Servicen på hotellet var eksepsjonelt god - alle ansatte vi traff, var utrolig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Blide og flinke folk i resepsjon, i døren og i roomservice. Vi bestilte både middag og frokost på rommet, helt supert. Usedvanlig bra sted å bo i London! PS vi fikk også en veldig bra pris gjennom hotels.com, vi slo til på et 48 timers salg (50%) og fikk dermed masse verdi for pengene. Beste hotell deal jeg noen gang har hatt i London!

Correcto en cuanto al trato y atención recibidos durante nuestra estancia en el hotel, sin embargo no se corresponde a la categoría que te ofrecen. Habitaciones muy simples y austeras , con servicios pequeños y básicos. El hotel carece de un simple salón general de estancia. Ubicación, correcta pues me hospedo en hoteles en dicha zona, pero resaltar que por experiencia la categoría que le corresponde es de un 4 estrellas.

We were slightly disappointed given the price and the fame of the Met. - The reception service was really outstanding. - The room was adequate but nothing to write home about. - The service and drinks quality at the bar was superb. - The breakfast was really disapointing: * The breakfast room looks like a hospital canteen. * the service was totally disoganised. We got our toast before our yogurt and juice intstead of with our eggs. * Breakfast service was also extremely slow.

I found the bathrooms very small , althought the room was large, the tv very old model (uneccepatble for that kind of hotel not to have plasma tv), breakfast room very small and the variation very poor. In general the hotel has great location and tha famous NOBU restaurant. I will re visit it as i like the personel as well
