Ashburn Hotel - لندن

فندقا لطيفا وأنيقا, الغرفة نظيفة دائما و كبيرة كفاية للاستمتاع بإقامة مريحة لشخصين ( نفس التعليق بالنسبة للحمام !! دائما نظيف!!) أقدر بالفعل الترحيب بكأس الشمبانيا عند وصولنا و الهدايا اليومية والصحيفة التي نجدها دائما عند عودتنا إلى الغرفة في المساء!! محطة مترو أنفاق طريق جلوسيتر على بعد خطوات قليلة من الفندق وهذا يعني سرعة و سهولة الوصول إلى كل شيء في لندن!! إقامة جيدة حقا!!

أقمت أنا وخطيبتي في هذا الفندق خلال الأيام القليلة الأخيرة بعد زيارة عائلية من أجل التحضير لرحلة العودة إلى المنزل. بعد وصولنا, تم نقلنا إلى غرفة كبيرة جدا( بالنسبة إلى لندن أو إي معايير) مع حمام جميل. تجاوز هذا الفندق توقعاتي وسوف يكون الفندق الخيار الأول بالنسبة لي في المرة القادمة في لندن.

يقع فندق Ashburn عند الزاوية من الأنفاق الأرضية( دوار, خطوط District و Piccadilly ). كان طاقم العمل مهذبا للغاية, مهنيا و متعاونا. شمبانيا مجانية في المساء; خيارا جيد جدا ولذيدا بالنسبة لوجبة الإفطار. Kensington منطقة رائعة وخيارا محليا رائعا بما أنها لا تزال في مناطق 1 و2 من النفق. كما أوصي بواب الفندق بمطعم Olive , مطعم إيطالي رائع في Gloucester Road ولم يخب ظننا!

فندق رائع, حجم الغرف مناسب,حمامات و وسائل راحة رائعة. قريب جدا من النفق و بالقرب من بعض الحانات والمطاعم الجيدة. كانت المشكلة الوحيدة التى واجهناها أن التدفئة لم تعمل واضطررنا لأحضار مدفأة في تلك الليلة لأن الجو كان باردا في غرفتنا في كانون الأول. لكن بشكل عام كانت الخدمة رائعة.

لم يكن كل شيء كما كنت أتوقع من فندق فخم. يبدو الأثاث رخيصا و الفندق بحاجة إلى "تحديث" من أجل أن يكون فندق فئة 4 نجوم.موقع رائع و طاقم العمل ودود. وجبة الإفطار جيدة أيضا لكن غير متنوعة. إقامة جيدة لرحلات العمل وعطلة نهاية الأسبوع مع العائلة, لكن لا أوصي بهل لرحلة هروب رومانسية.

The hotel desk receptionist on duty during our entire stay, Timea, was GREAT. Also the concierge, Steve, was very helpful. Would return there without doubt. Good value in a very nice B&B hotel.

hotel was very consumer oriented, and service was very good.amenities were good, and glass of champagne every evening was a plus. concierge was very helpful.

The hotel is in a good location close to Kensington High Street and only a 10-15 walk up to the Royal Albert Hall (where we were going). The rooms are nicely decorated but the bed was rock hard and even though we paid extra for a King room, the bed was just two singles, with single mattresses, and a king size blanket and duvet. Breakfast included only covers continental and cooked is extra, but not silly prices.

My daughter and I stayed here for four days and were very satisfied with our stay. It is just around the corner from the Gloucester Rd tube station and the Hop on, Hop off bus tour. We found the staff pleasant and helpful. We had a small problem with the heat in our room, which was promptly and creatively handled. Breakfast was included with our room, and was more than adequate: fruit, juices, cheese, meats, pastries, toast and coffee served in French press coffee makers. There are many pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance (including Burger King and KFC if you need a fast food fix). I would definitely stay at The Ashburn again.

We had a great time in London and it was made so much better by the location and the atmosphere at the Ashburn. It was close to an underground station on the line to Heathrow. Room was a good size but the only downside in our room was that there was only 1 bedside light. The area felt very safe to walk around even at night. The room was very clean and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. The free Wi-Fi was good.

We will definitely come back to stay and recommend the hotel to others.

Comfortable room, good location from Gloucester Road tube. The day that I stayed there was a problem with the hotel's licence so they could not sell any alcohol and the dinner offer was 2 beers and a home made pizza!, but apart from that very good.

This is not a cheap hotel, but London is not cheap, and you get what you pay for. Not quite as fancy as I might have expected for the price, but no problems. A little road noise, but perfectly acceptable.

I cannot fault much about our stay, it\s position near the Gloucester Rd tube was simply great for Heathrow airport and the walk to the Albert Hall where we had tickets booked and the science museum was pleasent. The complimentary champagne and gifts are a lovely touch.it is time for some new carpetining in the corridors and stairs - but otherwise fabulous!

Hotel was warm and comfortable located just where we wanted to be. Good value for the money.

Nice service. Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Close to Gloucester train stop. Close to both nice local and fast food restaurants chance. Neighborhood is fine but not as active in the evening as other parts of the city. Overall, I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. You cannot beat its location both for access to Heathrow (tube station is 5 mins away) and the Knightsbridge area/rest of London. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by but just far enough away that you don't have to deal with the noise. The staff are exceptionally helpful and very knowledgeable. I love the rooms as well as they have character rather than that cookie-cutter feel you get in many hotels.

I recently stayed at the Ashburn hotel for a week. The location of the hotel is excellent (less than 5 minute walk to Gloucester Road tube and within walking distance of V&A museum, Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall). The rooms are small, but clean and come with all the essentials. It's also very quiet considering the hotel is on a busy road. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Another big plus is the free wifi! It was also a nice touch to come back to a small "gift" each day left in my room (mostly little luxuries to make your stay that much more pleasant).

Great rooms. Excellent Service. Free Wi-Fi, Free Breakfast and Queen Beds all at a reasonable price! The hotel is very close to the Piccadilly Line station, bus stops and the hop-on, hop-off tour buses. There are many restaurants around, and even a small supermarket. It is within walking distance to Kensington Gardens and a few other attractions, other things are a quick hop on the tube to central London. Getting there from Heathrow airport was an easy 30 minute ride on the tube (no transfers needed). The concierge was very helpful with theater reservations and other tickets. The only thing I would change is the shower door. It was very hard to move and never closed quite completely so there was some splashing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

This was the 3rd year in a row I stayed at the Ashburn. This hotel is perfect for me. It's close to the Tube (Gloucester Road station, Picadilly Line goes to/from Heathrow), very comfortable and attractive, and they serve breakfast on site. There are restaurants, supermarkets, and novelty shops all within easy walking distance. Knightsbridge (Harrod's!) , Kensington Gardens, and the Victoria & Albert and Natural History Museums also are within walking distance.

Your service is second to none and we would stay again in a heartbeat! I just didn't get why you had no plugs for hairdryers near a mirror? I get why they aren't in the bathroom, for safety, but I am severely nearsighted and had to look clear across the room and do my hair using the mirrors on the closet doors. It was very frustrating. Please know that we were happy with everything else. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We loved the Ashburn hotel. The room was surprisingly large (a twin room) and spotlessly clean. The amenities were as described, e.g. robes, slippers, breakfast, small refrigerator in the room, etc. The hotel was very close to the tube - about 1 1/2 blocks and we felt very safe walking around the area. Next to the tube were a grocery store, and a Boots pharmacy. We very much appreciated the services of the two concierges who were very helpful and the young lady who served as receptionist. And, of course, who doesn't love a glass of champagne at night!

Internet service required a new password each day and was interupted at times. Convienent to trains,nice neightborhood, quality amenities, rooms was a bit small with limited closet space but were comfortable. Staff was helpful.Continental breakfast was OK, limited bar menu.

A lovely hotel...small and perfectly located between two tube stops and loads of charming, small restaurants. It is just a 9 block walk to the V & A and natural history museum. The staff were friendly and helpful...and the amenities included in the price were amazing...a full breakfast in the lovely breakfast room, free wi fi and a glass of good champagne each evening. Would definitely make the Ashburn my hotel next time in London.

Access to the Tube, museums, a Waitrose grocery, and parks was excellent. Staff members were helpful; the internet connection was always robust; and the continental breakfast was good, varied, and ample. Having a paper at the door each morning was a plus as were the Gilchrist & Soames bath products. Our room was smaller than other reviews seemed to suggest, fairly typical of British and European rooms. We would only stay there again if we could book one of the larger rooms. In an attempt to include a desk, small table, comfy chair, etc., the room was too crowded with furniture --- even for us with only carry-on luggage. Other than that, a pleasant hotel in a nice area.

Great hotel. Very attentive staff. The only issue was that the air conditioner was not working. As we arrived during the hottest spell of the summer it was very warm our room. When we reported this to the staff they did try and organize something by giving us a fan. When checking out after our 5 night stay we mentioned it agin to the concierge and he told us that the air-conditioning for the whole hotel was broken. It would have been nice to have had a small note put in our room to let us know this and to inform us that they were unable to fix it straight away. Apart from this the stay was everything we expected .

We now stay at the Ashburn whenever we come to London. This year we had three separate stays there as we flew into London, then traveled to Scotland and back to London before flying to Oslo then back to London again after touring Norway. It's fabulous! Great service, luxurious rooms, fantastic breakfast. They gave us room upgrades without asking when they weren't fully booked. South Kensington is a terrific neighborhood. The concierge was very helpful. If force to make one criticism, it would be that the carpets were soiled in spots. Otherwise, it was spotless.

Very good service, excellent location, free internet in the room 24 hours a day. Value for money.

I stayed for the first time for one night. It was late and I was tired and thought address was 100 not 111 Cromwell. Called and got directed, and met at the door outside by maitre'd....great first impression. Sign in was at small personal desk..very nice. Then cozy lift to 5th floor room, which is pictured on website, with the alcoved ceiling. Great room. Comfortable size room; comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom; good sized and modern, with speakers hooked from tv, so can listen while getting ready. Mini-refridgerator, no mini-bar, no loss. Great closet space and a safe. Just needed one more chair in the room, as only had one. Nice tin of mints as a gift, plus bottled water, and newspaper. Only wish for a choice of softer pillow; which may be available, but did not ask. Very nice bar area. Breakfast included, but not able to get to have it or see dining room. Check out was easy, with plenty of staff on hand to assist. An excellent hotel overall. Will stay again when looking to book in this centrally located area of London.

I had stayed at the Ashburn once before. This time, when I arrived I learned that there was a problem (a water leak or something) and they had to move me. They were very accommodating: offering me refreshments, booking a suite for me at a nearby hotel, and paying for a taxi to move me there and take me back to the tube the next day. Much appreciated.

Our stay at the Ashburn Hotel was comfortable. It is a smaller hotel and the staff are all efficient and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing we were not happy with was the breakfast. It was a basic continental breakfast. If you wanted a cooked breakfast there was an extra cost. When paying for our hotel it stated that breakfast was included so we presumed it was a cooked breakfast. This was the only hotel in the UK where we stayed at that didn't offer a full breakfast. For the price we paid surely a better breakfast should be included. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Extremely friendly staff and a convenient location. Only a 4 minute walk to the underground. My wife enjoyed our stay and their hospitality.

I spent 3 nights at the Ashburn Hotel with my 10 year old son in June. It is a 5 min walk to Gloucester Road tube staion and a straight shot to Heathrow on the pcadilly line. The room was very well appointed with toiletries and a refrigerator . The concierge, Steven, was particularly helpful with everything from arranging taxis to dining suggestions and even obtaining tickets to various attractions..the neighborhood is safe and covenient. I would absolutely stay at the Ashburn again.

This hotel was a great bargain for its location. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was lovely and very convenient. A downside to this hotel was the AC. We were there in May when it wasn't hot, yet we had difficulty keeping the room a comfortably cool temperature. The AC consisted of a portable unit vented out the window, necessitating the window being partially open and allowing street noise and outside heat in. Not sure how warm it would get in the summer months but wouldn't want to find out. Would have appreciated better access to ice, though hotel staff was very courteous about getting it for us each evening.

Location to tube was excellent. Giant Hilton across the street with blaring green sign was an eye-sore. I got one of the largest rooms which was very clean and nice overall, but the bed was pretty hard and their carpet choice appears to be dated even though I don't think it's old (it's kind of a shag/long style). Nice soaps/candles and good value considering that breakfast is included. Staff were very accommodating and helpful as I couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower or which direction was "on" for the switches/outlets (some switches are on when pushed up and others you push down instead, so there is no rhyme or reason).

I hatr to give this gem such a great review as | would like to keep it my secret. Great service, friendly staff, excellent room (with frig!!) conventient to Tube station. wonderful restuarants nereby. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Only down side was very firm pillows. Would have liked at least one soft pillow.

My husband and I have stayed here a number of times. For me it is the perfect London hotel. It is close to transportation and is an easy shot to Heathrow. The surrounding area has a great choice of restaurants and bars. Major attractions such as Hyde Park and museums are within easy walking distance. However, the best part is the staff. They are extremely helpful and provide that personal touch. This is a hotel where they actually remember you. I would highly recommend it. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in London.

We stayed at the Ashburn from March 27th through April 2, 2011 an found the hotel and services excellent. We especially appreciated that they allowed an early check-in (we landed in Gatwick at 7:00 a.m. Sunday). Our room was smallish but comfortable, with luxury touches evident everywhere. Best of all is the location - just a block and a half from Gloucester station, with access to all of London! Would definitely recommend to others, and will stay there again.

The room was very small, but that is quite common in London. The bathroom was a decent size, but sink didn't drain properly in the sink. It was great to have a good breakfast and wireless included in the price.
