i arrived late at night and was immediately told the air conditioning was out and that i didnt have to take trhe room. at 1 am that was a lame question. i also requested wi-fi. when i arrived in my room and tried to connect it was unavailable? needless to say, i will not be returning.

Place blows. Do not stay here. End of review.

Save your money, go anywhere else! Room was filthy, stuff splattered on the walls, holes in the wall, floor tilted. Should have left but were dropped off & didn't have a ride.

people smoke at the door way, the floor is dirty, the bed is dirty as well red (look like blood ) stain on the bed sheet. we call the office to change to a new room but every room is about the same, so we had to leave and go to another hotel to stay for the night.

Room was dirty, sort of scary clientele, good it was a murphy bed and uncomfortable, linens were cheap. Definitely would not stay here again.

Not the cleanest place,beds very uncomfortable Not nice neighborhood,didn't like my stay overall. Made my reservation online,when I got there they were out of rooms,how does that work I don't know Something to think about...

This hotel is a dive the rooms are old and smelly, the room doors don't close completely, and the maid service is horrible. We visited during the holidays and my son had an accident in one of the beds; the maid never arrived to even clean the room so we were moved to another room late in the evening after celebrating Christmas....what a joke! The hotel is also a Casino...even bigger joke, there are maybe 10 poker tables in the entire joint. To whomever reads this comment, I am being extremely honest when I say "This hotel SUCKS!" The Crystal Palace Casino is not a 2-1/2 star...It's maybe a "1" and that's being honest.

though the hotel had 2.2 rating we chose to stay here because of the appearance. But the hotel was terrible in terms of maintenance as there was no hot water, the window screens were not closing, TV was not working and the staff were not responsive.

It is close to transportation and a lot of restaraunts but the room was in poor repair and the beds weren't big enough for two people and the wifi was down

Good size room with 2 king beds but no hot water. Price is right for LA area if you are just looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep with free parking.

I was initially disappointed with the hotel but my feelings changed, to being more positive, by the end of the week. I had to ask for a room change after seeing the first room assigned. It would appeal more to people who are there to gamble. The bottom sheets are too small, and are unfitted, so they continue to come loose. The one bed was broken down on one side so I had to move over to the other one in the room. The carpet needs a through cleaning. The price was reasonable for what it was.

This hotel is at is says: A Casino, but it is ok to have a stayover comparing to the amount of money. The staff is nice.

The stay at this hotel was just ok.

DONT LET THE NAME AND LIGHTS ON THE BUILDING, PHOTOS ON WEBSITES AND VALET PARKING IN THE DESCRIPTION FOOL YOU! THIS HOTEL IS A DEFINATE DRIVE BY!!!! This is a flea bag motel that should have the 2.5 star rating changed to a 1.... this MOTEL IS DIRTY, DUSTY AND MOLDY. I booked this hotel because the photos were nice considering the 2.7 rating it received from hotel.com. but once you pass the lobby..... wow! Traditionally the higher the floor the better the accomodations. Not here, when we exited the ninth floor (the highest floor in the building) we immediatly could see layers of dust on the furniture and carpet. Our room....... the carpet was filthy. The sheets had tears and stains on them, the matresses were filthy, we found dead ants everywhere, We are praying we didn't bring home bed bugs..... I knew the price was too good to be true, it was discounted which I thought was some sort of internet special/savings. I have stayed at Motel 6 and Vagabon motels better than this. I had children and from the photo the pool was nice..... When we checked in the clerk said the pool was out of order and may be back open the next day...... Right! That pool has not worked in what looked like months. I clearly see folks just go there for Bingo and a quick drunk sleep off cause this hotel is Trash. Our Room #940 the key came in a coin envelope, cheesy! The bathroom had a urine stinch and the tub had a permanent discoloration in it. The wallpaper is peeling, the amount of dirt on the airconditioning unit, light switchs and bed corners was disgusting, half the hooks on the curtian, was missing..........

HOTEL IS VERY CLOSE TO A LITTLE SHOPPING MALL WITH TARGET BEST BUY. IT WAS A GOOD PRICE FOR A BIG ROOM WITH A KING BED A DOUBLE BED AND A COUCH.BEDS WERE CLEAN BUT THE CEILING AND WALLS HAD JUICE STAINS AND BATHTUB HAD A LITTLE MOLD. WE JUST NEEDED A PLACE TO SLEEP SINCE WE WERE OUT AND ABOUT. THE CASHIER IN THE STORE WAS ON THE PHONE WHILE WE WERE TRYING TO MAKE A PURCHASE, AND CASINO IS JUST CARD GAMES AND BINGO.BUT THE FRONTDESK PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY.

The carpet was so dirty that the bottom of my socks were almost black after about 30 minutes with my shoes off, the toilet was disgusting, the curtains were ripped which revealed and shattered window from top to bottom, the safe was broken and I was not able to use it, there was a coffee machine that was caked in hard water residue and no coffee or condiments, there were 3 huge holes in the carpet, the face tree in the corner of the room was broken and leaned over the table, the other side of the window that was not broken was stuck open, the heating and cooling system is something from the 1920's which means there heat, cool and off, no in between so you either freeze or sweat to death, we tried to play bingo and sat there for 20 minutes as every person selling the bingo cards kept passing us by and not acknowledging us so we ended up not playing, we paid extra to have our car parked close so they parked it in the first spot in front of the entrance and we still had to wait 15 minutes for our car even though we were the only ones there. I could go on and on about the worst experience ever but I cant waste any more of my time on this place considering they would not take 2 seconds of their time for me.

I had to bring my own things to the 9th floor & I wasn't warned that I needed the hotel key in the elevator, so I took a few rides up & down or just sat there not knowing why the door wouldn't open or why I couldn't make it to my own floor. So a few scary men joined me on the trip up & down. finally, a working got on with me & he showed me that my key was needed. Also, he followed me down this long hall way to make sure my door key worked for my room - I hoped - since he was following me! Also, once the door opened - there was no working lights at the entry - so I had to manage to put my things in the door little by little - since my arms were full & no he didn't ask to help. I got into my dark room and closed the door. That was scary. I made it across the room to turn on the lamps and there was a nice big king bed with covering that looked like it was from the 70ths along with my 19in tv. The carpet was a color that looked dirty, but I wasn't sure. The swiming pool was out side. no place to workout. It did have bing-go and card tables for anyone wishing to lose money - I'm sure. And there was a sports bar. This place has the potentual to be a nice place - if someone cared- but I think they only cared about who wanted to place the "take my money" games and not those who just wanted to enjoy the hotel rooms. I woud tell a friend who didn't want to be far from loved ones in Compton and who didn't care about service. They had a lot of guards and v-parking - if you didn't wish to have to park in a far lot. I don't gamble so I stayed in my room and did enjoy my rest in peace and quit.

It had bugs in the one of the beds that I didnt ask for. I reserved a King size after checking in I went to double beds i went back and was told they had no other king beds. After settling realized they I had already paid through hotels.com they charged me again and said she didnt see the reservation. And i left at 7 that morning I couldnt take it it was horrible.

IN THE PARKING LOT ARA SOME PERSONS NAMED VALET PARKIN THEY ARE NOT HOTEL PERSONAL BUT THEY DO NOT PERIMT PARKING IN THE FRON PARK LOT, THEY CHARGE FIEVE TO TEN DOLERS FOR PARKING, THE FRONT DESK TELL US THIS IS NOT TRUE BUT WE DONT WISH HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THEM

The area around it isn't too bad in the day but I wouldn't go out at night. The hotel and casino was a bit cheesy. Not a very welcoming environment. The valet parking staff were rude. The hotel room was kept clean but most of their lights didn't work and the bathroom had a lot of calcium stains on the shower and toilet. There is a lot of security though. I would rather stay at commercial motel than stay here again.

when i check in it look nice.. but when i got my key and started going to my room the hallways were sooo dirty. the room was ok old fashion look.. need to remodal soon... i would not stay here again...

This hotel was booked through Hotels.com They booked us a room within this casino that was sold out. Upon arriving we were given a less than satisfactory room. While the overall experience was not to standards, the manager took care of us for the trouble.

Desk personnel were nice and efficient, lobby was pretty and card areas were pretty full - not too smoky which is unusual. Room, however, was shabby. I was in the very large room adjoins a suite on the top floor (Room 910). It used to be really nice; black marble in bathroom; black jacuzzi tub with gold inlets, etc. However, the tub had so much chemical buildup that I wouldn't use it, and toilet also needed a good treatment. Hair dryer was broken. Wallpaper was peeling; wood furniture was scratched and chipping, furniture cushions were stained and curtain was hanging from the rod. Someone really needed to vacuum; this room inspired me to check under the bed - old glass and straw and other trash was there. I wore my socks the entire time. Sheets appeared to be clean or I would have left. Too bad a once nice place has not been taken care of at all!

The front desk people where great. But getting things like coffee for in the room in the morning just did not happen. Remote did not work. Shower head was messed up and funky. But I would stay again and bring my own coffee. Cheers

The hotel wasnt bad the casino is a rip off i have never seen or heard of a blackjack table that charges customers for each hand a dollar but the bar was good

My fiancee and I stayed here for three nights. It's in Compton. The casino doesn't have slot machines. There's only one luggage cart for a nine story hotel. But... There's a certain ambiance to this place; like a worn-down eligance. It appears to be Asian-owned and that's a compliment.It means they're not going to let the place go completely to hell. The room was clean and the hotel restaurant was GREAT. The Valet people were great. There were plenty of security guards to deal with the Compton people who came to gamble. Overall? It's a cool place and the rooms are inexpensive. It's an older place that was built when the area was nicer. There's a vibe to it. We would stay there again but we like "vibes".

Arrived to location and was given room 901. Door failed to accept room key in order to open. After given two new keys, door still would not open. Front desk employee (Jun) reassigned me to room 835, and 606 which were both extremely sub-par.

All in all, the Hotel was nice, safe, comfortable, we had a king suite and it was very nice. Bed was comfortable, we slept good, it was pretty quiet, there is a nice shopping center located very near by and it was very nice with a TGIF and a McDonalds. The parking was safe with valet and security to watch over your vehicle. The only thing was - in the morning the hot water was not going on in the shower, and it turnd out that the shower knob was on backwards, as the hot water was at the 3 o'clock position, but with the help of the front desk and the maintenance guy, we figured it out! :) Good price for the room - it was on special.

When I got to my room, there was not HOT WATER. I let it run for a long time. No hot Water

The room as fine, but there was no business center, no internet access, no wifi, and it is located ina poor part of town. The casino in the lobby was depressingly poor.,

There was a shopping center close by but if you needed anything else all you had to do is drive maybe 3 more miles and there was a bigger shopping center. The only thing I would complain about is that everything closed early so we had to eat cold food
