Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Downtown - لويسفيل

The rooms need to be remodeled. They have the look of the newer Courtyards, but they cheaped out and didn't do as much work as they should have. It is an older hotel that they did minimal work to remodel in the rooms. With that said, the hotel was clean, the staff was great, the lobby looked very new and nice, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Best night of sleep in a hotel bed that I've had in years. I've slept in quite a few and this bed was comfortable. So, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. But, I would give it a 5 star rating if they would remodel the rooms.

The hotel is right across the street from the KFC Yum! Center. Also a short walk to Joe's Crabshack :) the room was very clean and the price was very reasonable for the location.

Nothing fancy but good enough. Lighting in the rooms could use a little work. Front desk was very pleasant. Nice and convenient to KFC Yum Center where we saw Sade!

Great location, within easy walking distance of museum row, the YUM center and great eating places. It was so quiet and the bed was so comfortable that we slept in and missed breakfast. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The only inconvenience was no elevator for the parking garage (or if there was, we didn't see it). The staff were very helpful, though, allowing us to leave our car by the door until we unloaded and took our luggage to the room. We plan on coming back to this hotel to spend several days visiting the museums.

Great location, to walk everywhere, 4th Street Live is just minutes walking away. Good eating places all near by. The hotel breakfast is very good, made to order pancakes, eggs, French toast, and omelets. But the best part of the hotel is the awesome staff!!! They are the best!!! The only negative is that I had a room right across the street from the KFC Yum Yum Center and it was very noisy...music and people can be quite late into the evening.

Clean room and nice staff - location was great! Could walk to the Riverfront Park and to many eating places! Right next to the Yum! Center for concerts or events!!

We went to Louisville to see Les Miz and the location was great. We had a 5 minute walk to a nice restgaurant and the Kentucky Center. We would stay there again. Thanks

Close to the Yumm Center very friendly staff - very central but a bit noisy - super cheap parking Sadly no breakfast included - its just a nice way to start your day.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We did get locked out of our room - the keys wouldn't work. The front desk tried giving us new ones but still no luck. They did move us to another room with a working lock and gave us complimentary breakfast for the trouble.

Three individuals at this hotel made this business travel experience stand out as the best in my last 52 weeks of travel. Check in was excellent - searched for discounts, looked up my Hilton Honors number, very professional, went the extra mile. Breakfast service was excellent. Tyrone and the cook (omlettes) were top notch. Professional, curteous, and sincere in both (a rarity). I travel one a week. I have not been this wowed for as long as I can remember. Truly top notch service by these three men.

The location is great. The front desk staff was excellent. Always hot coffee ready to go 24 hrs a day. The breakfast, included in the room fee, is great. Their little mini-market (although pricey) had a very good selection of food items. Wish they'd had regular milk for sale but other than that, anything you needed (cereal, frozen meals, etc.) was conveniently stocked. I have more business in Louisville, will definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. The staff was great and the location to the convention center was only a 2 1/2 block walk.

Was a minor glitch in the room booking but the staff at Courtyard took matters in their hands and not only made it right, made it better! Better at no additional costs might I add! Room was great! Beds were awesome! Best bed I have ever slept in away from home! Bed linens were great! Even did the sheet tuck like H.I.Express! I have stayed at 2 seperate Courtyard locations now and all my expectations have been surpassed by there quality, staff, and value! Thank you Courtyard Lousiville for a great stay!

Easy parking and very helpful staff. Pool, restaurant and bar were all nice. Free Hot tea, coffee, and ice water available 24/7.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff was probably the friendlist of anywhere I have ever stayed! Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful! Room was clean. Would def recommend to friends!

The Courtyard by Marriot was the best hotel in my opinion because it is within walking distance to 4th St. Live (among other downtown attractions) and more affordable than the other hotels. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, go waste your money at the Galt House or the Seelbach, but if you want to get the most bang for your buck, go to the Courtyard. Don't get me wrong, the courtyard is nice, and I felt comfortable walking around the block that it was located on. The rooms were clean and well kept. We received the proper room that we reserved, which is not always the case at some hotels. Overall, it was a good experience, and the staff was very courteous and friendly.

Temperature difficult to maintain. Some pillows 'flat' Tub appeared dirty although probably only discolored Hallways very warm

Was looking for a safe hotel for several ladies for a bachelorette party. Hotel was an easy walk to the 4th St. Live Area Downtown. At no time did we feel unsafe. Room was very clean. Bath area has separate vanity area from shower/toilet which was nice. Also included full sized mirrors. Shower was nice with decent water pressure. Toilet was very loud and scared me every time I flushed. Bed very comfortable-loved the pillows! Upscale linen was nice. All staff was very friendly and helpful; from the front desk, housekeeping, and the waitress and chef at the restaurant.

We picked the hotel because it was close to the skate park where we were taking our 2 grandsons. It's also just a few minutes from the the river. The location and surrounding area will probably be better with the opening of the new arena just across the street. We would have liked to have been closer (within walking distance) to more restaurants, but we were only there a couple of days and other places were easily accessible by car. We didn't see any shops in the area just around the hotel. The rooms and hotel were fine - our only complaint was that the beds were too soft, but we managed since it was only for two nights. Attached parking garage was very reasonable-only $6.00 per day, and the hotel gives a pass to guests so that they can come and go as they please for the entire stay and then pay at check-out. The pool is small, but was very adequate for the kids for a while at the end of the day. The lounge has happy hour and a few hors d'oeuvres two evenings a week and there is a breakfast buffet each mornng for about $10 per person. They have a few snacks and some microwave dinners for sell at all hours but no gift shop, restaurant or room service. Again, we only spent two nights there and it was very adequate. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive.

So close to 4th street! Nice hotel for the price!

Nice hotel, located downtown. The quality you can expect from a Marriott Courtyard

Everything was great except VERY thin walls. People next door came home at 3 am drunk and were VERY loud! Had to call security but they didn't really do anything.....thankfully they checked out the next morning.

Hotel was in a convenient location. It was clean and in good shape. Rooms are very small. Parking was $6 a day, which was reasonable but had been quoted as free when we booked the hotel.

If you need a place to stay in Downtown Louisville, this is the place. One of the best deals for the money I have ever had for a hotel I will be back anytime I need to stay in the area, in fact I won't bother checking anywhere else.

Great hotel--easy to get in and out of. Met all of our expectations.

Friendly hotel staff and clean hotel. Hot breakfast buffet costs, but is good. I thought parking was free based on other reviews of this hotel. However, when we checked in, the front desk clerk told me that it was $6/day. I acted surprise and said that I thought it was free. They went ahead and stamped my parking card without my having to pay the $6/day fee. Hotel is a 5 block walk away from 4th Street Live area where we spent both nights. Neighborhood felt safe to walk through late at night. Room appeared to not be newly remodeled, but it was clean.

I expected much better from Marriott.

This is a great hotel with nice rooms, comfortable beds, and totally helpful staff. The parking ramp was clean, and it was located in the center of things. The only thing that was deficient, and seriously so, was the restaurant, which was only open until 10 a.m. for breakfast and closed for lunch. I think it was open in the evening, but didn't eat there.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The free parking was nice considering the fact that there are parking garages everywhere in downtown Louisville. That town should have a surplus in budget because you can't go anywhere without paying for parking. My family and I had a good time and the hotel was conveniently located near everywhere we had to attend while in town.

This is a great hotel in downtown Louisville. You can easily walk to the 4th Street Live area. The only time it seemed questionable to do this was Sunday night at 11pm when we got in. There was no one really out and we weren't sure about the area at the time, so did not venture that way then. However, we walked there the next night for dinner and felt very safe. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. I had a great view of the sun rising each morning so it is hard to complain about that. The elevators were very fast and almost always came right away. The breakfast was good but not included in the room rate for us. The only thing that could be improved is to have another treadmill and elliptical (or two of each) in the fitness room....and a little more space for weights. Otherwise, great!

Nice hotel, nice staff, good location. Could use more literature.

Hotel did not have food service other then breakfast, which was extra. Maid left door unlocked by propping vaccumm sweeper against the door while completing work in another room. Nothing was stolen or harmed but was not as secure as I expected.

Nice room. Free internet in room, which is not policy at surrounding properties. They also offered shuttle transportation, which again the neighboring properties did not. Good choice for those attending meeting at convention center.

Nice hotel. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. It was next to the convention center so it was convenient to walk. front desk people could be a little more friendlier. they didn't have a restaurant in the hotel.. the one they had only served breakfast. The pool was small, but good for just 3 people. I would go back if I needed to.
