The hotel was clean and the staff pleasent. The problem the pillows were old and flat. very difficault to sleep with. Otherthan that it was ok.

Closest you will get to boston/MIT with free parking. Shopping mall right next door and a packsge store across the street so if you need anything at all its right there. Great staff and quick and easy access to 93. Rooms are super spacious and clean.

Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. 5 minute walk to the subway station. Located on a very busy street so it is a little noisy.

The hotel overall was good. The location wasn't the greatest, but it was just a quick easy walk to the T stop. Also very close to the TD Garden. Parking was limited, but we were able to get a spot for the couple of days we were there. The room was nice, newly renovated, and very open. Only real complaint would be the shower had no real pressure to it. But overall, the hotel was close to what we needed and good for a weekend in Boston.

Convenient location to Cambridge and short drive to Boston, Medford and Sommerville. Free parking is a big plus.

Close to public transportation stops, and in bad weather we didn't have to drive...went everywhere on the T or by bus. Restaurants are also just a couple of blocks away and we walked to several great places to eat. Will stay there again in a heartbeat.

There is a grocery store within walking distance, a fast food restaurant next door and a few local restaurants a few blocks away. Breakfast was fine. I would have liked to see homestyle oatmeal served, as more and more hotels are adding it to their breakfast choices. Cinnamon buns were awesome! Free parking, and thankfully it wasn't full. In case of overflow, you would have to park across the street., not too big of a deal but it might be of concern if you need to access your car often or travelling with little ones. Rooms are nicely decorated, the one I got was a little small but very quiet, on the 8th floor with a nice view.

Hotel was very clean bed was comfy but the heater which is under the window would blow cold air at first when the heater kicked in...also the shade on the window was very tough to close and sice the drapes were not able to be closed it let in a lot of light from the car wash next door...overall a decent place. i stayed there overnight for work during the blizzard of 2013...two of the employees Mark and another guy whose name I forget helped me get my car out of the parking lot the next morning...thanks to them i was able to get to work!!

It is the best place to stay, especially if you have something to do in Cambridge. It is clean, service is wonderful. The most important thing is parking is free. You can reach wherever you want easily.

Good location, Target and Grocery store right next to Hotel. Water pressure was low but no complaints. Very CLEAN! Family friendly, coffee was excellent, kids loved pancake maker... and it was all included. Parking was free! Major help!

Stayed here with my family on a holiday, and it was a great late for this arrangement. Was well priced and convenient, both for public transport and situated well for tourist attractions, which were just a shrt tram ride away. Overall a very good experience of our holiday

It was ok, but it was a stay I don't plan on making at this hotel again. The heaters barely if at all worked.....and it just left a lot more to desire for the name chain of that hotel also

This is definitely not the most upscale hotel you'll ever stay in, but it was a really nice place to stay for the price. The rooms are recently renovated and modern. The hotel was always clean. Great service from the hotel staff. It's not too far from the main parts of Cambridge, but the area the hotel is in isn't that beautiful (i.e. don't expect a lovely city view). The only complaints we had were the very shoddy WIFI and the lack of parking.

This was a great hotel -- clean, comfortable, convenient, helpful staff. Only downside was that the sofabed was too hard.

My stay was very good. The only comment would be additional food. Perhaps cold deli sandwiches at lunch time or even for dinner if you don't feel like leaving the hotel. It would also be a source of revenue for the hotel. Also, there was no Gym facility to unwind.

The place was nice. Room was clean and certainly big enough. The free parking was great. Accessibility to the Lechmere T stop was a real plus. Was able to park car and still get around. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning was hot and good, not great, but good. Would definately stay here again.

I had to spend the weekend at Harvard, the hotel is right between the college and just over the river from North End. It's also close to the Interstates. The only downside was that there is almost no parking, many times I had to park across the highway. All in all, I was very satisfied with the quality of the hotel vs. the price.

This hotel was a nice surprise. It was up to date and clean. A nice breakfast each morning. The location was perfect. I will definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a great location. It was very clean and the rooms were large and comfy. HOWEVER, I can not give this hotel a five star rating because of the behavior of one of the staff members. The behavior was unnerving and weird, especially because we were two singles girls. I will put it out there and you think what you will... The first night we stayed we went out for dinner and returned about 9:30pm. About half a hour after our return we were settled in, pajamas on, in bed watching tv. When someone tried to open our door. Thankfully we had the slide lock on and the door only opened and inch. We heard a "sorry" and then knocking. I opened the door with the slide lock still on and standing there was one of the front desk clerks. He said "we don't have a registration card on file for this room, so I need the last name you checked in under". I gave him the name and he left. The entire vibe was wrong. Why didn't they call the room first or knock before unlocking the room. We had checked in and been given keys and a parking pass. Yet they had nothing on file? We had passed this employee on our return through the lobby. He had even helped us with a question before we left for dinner. Just find it very strange that he tried to get into a room without knocking first. If you ever stay here, make sure you use the deadbolt and slide lock.

Stayed here while visiting our daughter at MIT. Took a $10 taxi back and forth to campus - worked out great. Breakfast was nice, rooms were comfortable. Liked the refrigerator, microwave and free internet.

Great stay, excellent customer service from front desk and great tips on dining in the area.

Very nice modern clean room and hotel. Parking situation is atrocious. Limited first come first served against building. Then across the street in old car repair place. Will not stay again as a result.

Horrible location. Very rude staff. Very unsatisfied!

Room is clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, the bath room door cannot lock. They sent maintenance man right away. We asked for a roll-away bed. Got it in a short time and they did not charge extra. The free breakfast is quite good. We drove to Boston. So the free parking is nice. However, the "high speed" wireless internet access was too slow even for general web browsing Friday evening, or any time when a lot of guests go online. But the access exists and I took care of some business at late night.

Front desk staff excellent. Supervisor went over and above. Night weekend gal very good

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was beautiful---actually striking. And we enjoyed everything about it!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Cambridge for the Holiday. The fireworks were great despite the rain and lightening. The hotel was very clean. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable especially after walking from the Museum of Science to the Hyatt Regency to the Holiday Inn-we were tired! The breakfast wasn't so great. The banana's were over ripe and the pancake machine didn't work. Presentation is important. Also, I was wondering why the staff at the front desk did not have name tags on. They were not very happy either. We asked a man behind the desk a question and he questioned us back with a tone that was not appropriate. So we just walked away. A clean room /comfortable bed and hot water are really all that matters. We would stay here again when we come to visit our son.

Room was nice, but location was dicey. The big question was whether the front-desk had any training at all. Can you at least put down your cell phone to have a conversation with me?

Stayed here on a business trip. Pretty straightforward. No frills as it is a HI Express, but location was convenient and room was fine. Property was in good condition and the complimentary breakfast was decent. Price was reasonable compared to the competition

Always enjoy visiting the Boston area.

I booked a suite, called 24 hours in advance that we would be arriving late and to hold the room, and still, the front desk gave the suite away. I learned this when we arrived at 10 p.m. The manager later said they don't guarantee a particular type of room. So the matter is still in dispute. There are other problems with this Holiday Inn Express: 1. The neighborhood, in transition, is a bit dicey at night. 2.Parking is limited. We had to park our car across the street next to a car wash because the hotel parking lot was full, then scamper across a 4-lane highway to get back to the hotel. 3.The room heater/AC is loud and cycles on and off every few minutes. The units in both rooms we had did this. We turned them off at night to get some sleep and piled on the blankets. 4. The Lechmere T station is a 5 minute walk. During the day, we felt safe walking to the station. But I didn't feel comfortable doing this after dark with my daughter. That said, the hotel is newly renovated in a modern style. The continental breakfast included in the room price offers ample choices. But, bottom line, I would not stay here again because of the botched reservation, location and problems parking.

The hotel is very convenient, there are restaurants nearby, parking was not a problem during our stay although there is only a limited parking spots, price is reasonable to have a hotel in the middle of the city and a mile from Harvard University. The breakfast is really good!
