Stay to was OK

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it has always been excellent for the price. Room is very clean hotel is like new and the personnel were very helpful and friendly.

Excellent location, clean,very helpful and professional staff. excellent location, close to mall, resturants,Bass Pro Shop etc. There was not a breakfast included that is always a drawing card.. Quiet surroundings.. Excellent pool area.

The hotel was right by Barefoot landing. It was clean and quiet. The desk clerks were nice and mannerly. They gave us directions directly to where we needed to go.

Very clean. Comfortable. Great service. Great location. Had issues with Heat/Air system that cause some inconvience but other than that it was a great stay. The staff was very prompt in resolving the H/A issue.

IT WAS VERY WELCOMING, EVERYONE WAS HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY. ONLY NEGATIVE COMENT WAS THE CLORINE WAS STRONG IN THE HOT TUB...BUT I DID UNDERSTAND WHY

Very close to Bass Pro Shop and Tanger outlets. If you're going to Myrtle Beach for shopping, this is the place to stay. Easy access to Hwy 17 and all the good restaurants.

Quite, comfortable. Staff was awsome. Very clean

Friendly staff, clean, so easy to on HWY 17! Get the breakfast buffet...well worth it!!! We will definitely be back!!

Huge cockroach in my room and requested to moved at 11pm. Would not stay here again, did not feel clean

ok Hotel - my wife and I stayed 2 nights. pools/jacuzzi/location/breakfast were all nice. However, our room had a real funky smell and we saw a few bugs. We won't be back.

The room was clean and staff friendly. Nice pool. However the room was small and poorly designed. The room refrigerator blocked the narrow passageway to the actual room so we had to almost turn sideways to get our luggage in

We were pleasantly surprised regarding this hotel. It was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly. The check in and out was quick! The room was very nice! We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Could not ask for anything better. This hotel is located in the right spot. make a left coming out of the parking lot and Barefoot Landing.is two lights down the street make a right and Broadway on the Beach is a comfortable drive. Check out Hot Stacks on your way to Broadway on the Beach its on the right.Plenty of places to eat. The hotel staff were very nice and answered many questions. Also you get a little gift when you check in. The room was very, very clean. The bed was so comfortabe (King), That I am going to purchase one like they have. I have not sleep this good at a hotel than I did at the Courtyard. What I liked was it was quiet. The place is well kept and it was very clean on the inside. If I just want to spend a quite weekend or nice drive this is the place for me at a reasonable price.

I really thought that this hotel would be nice since it was a Courtyard at the Marriott. I carefully reviewed the reviews from others concerning this hotel and I really expected it to be nice. But unfortunately, I found this Marriott to be substandard. I booked a Standard King for my fiance' and I and the layout for the room was really only for one person. The room was smaller than I expected. The position of the TV compared to the layout of the bed was poor. They had the TV to the right of the bed inside of the foot of the bed. They stated that microwaves and fridges are available upon request, which is a lie. They only have fridges available upon request and they only supply microwaves to certain selected rooms not to all. So if we wanted to warm food that was brought back to the room, we had to go downstairs and use the one that was beside the front entrance. We could constantly hear the people in the rooms next to us flushing their toilets. I would never consider this hotel again or refer to a friend.

we will definetly be back next year

I've stayed in many hotels in many places, but this hotel is just the best !! Absolutely everything is perfect about it ! I booked my stay on Expedia and there was an option for an extra $10 --the room would include a FULL buffet breakfast for two ! I paid the extra $10 and I'm so glad I did because this breakfast was fabulous ! There were choices of sausage , corned beef hash, bacon, eggs, hash browns, grits, gravy, biscuits, cereals and fruits and even a waffle making station ! The staff on the dining room couldn't wait to greet us and bring us a beverage. We ate til we couldn't eat anymore ! When I checked into the hotel, I gave the clerk my name and HE HANDED ME MY ROOM KEY !!! Shocked by this simplicity, I had to say "that's it ?" He replied yes ma'am ! I couldn't believe there wSnt a slow and lengthy check in process. We were always greeted with a smile and a hello from the front desk every time we passed by. We proceeded down a gorgeous corridor to our room and opened the door to our fresh smelling room, extremely new and clean with linens so crisp and comfy . There was a balcony, wide screen tv, fridge, microwave, free in-room internet access, and large bathroom with lots of freebie supplies. You will love this hotel --- what's not to love ?? What's wrong with this hotel ? Absolutely nothing ! July 19, 2011

I did"nt like that there were 2 or 3 family reunions going on during my stay. They were very noisy,blocked the lobby and took over the pool and all the other amenities including breakfast area. We did not get a chance to have any of the breakfast buffet, there was no room and I did"nt feel like waiting.Also they were at the front entrance day and night smoking. I got sick just entering or exiting the hotel. I was surprised about how small the room and bathroom was. I would not book that particular size room again for that price.

Great location. Nice hotel. Could dust room a bit better- dust on frames and lamp shades and too much room perfume spray was used... gave me a headache. Room coffee tasted very stale, but tasty fresh coffeee offered in the lobby in the AM and late afternoon.

room keys never worked--changed lock--still did not work--staff admitted common problem that main office does not address--staff was corteous--just the fault of a penny pinching beancounter also mosy hotels in area have free breakfast bar--NOT THIS ONE--back to other hotel chains for me

Nice place and clean too. Good location and not far to the beach but a short drive. It would have been nice to have a mini refrigerator and/or microwave in the room but overall a good experience.

We were only there for one night so the room was great. It was very clean, quiet and the staff was very accommodating. We arrived before check in and a room was available and we had no problems checking in early. The room was newly remodeled and very chic. The only problem was that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room so if you plan to bring snacks back, you'll have a problem there. Other than that, I was very pleased!

great room for our needs hard to turn left the restrant closed at 10 am to early for some but over all was a good stay will be back

The hotel was very clean great service and the area was great, close to the mall, Alabama Theater, House of Blues and some great resterants.

Hotel was fine; we stayed during biker week and they had lots of bikers hanging out by the front door at night. Not threatening, just a lot of people to walk thru. Parking lot was full of bikes, trailers, etc.

The pool has way too much chlorine in the pool, rendering the pool unswimable. Literally, a boy was chocking and coughing and his mom pulled him out of the pool.

Everything about the room was great. Clean sheets, comfortable couch and chair, tv remote was a little off (worked sometime and not others). The only problem I had with the room was that they put me in a handicap ready room. Bathroom was a little awkward at first but got use to it.. Great location and friendly female at the front desk

First I would like to say I love the location. The area is outstanding. Besides that, there was nothing about this hotel I enjoyed. We stayed on the first floor, with a king size bed that had tiny and thin pillows. The toliet was very loud when flushed and so was the ones next to us. All we heard all night were doors slamming, people talking and toliet flushing. No, comp. breakfast which was a disappointment, considering we paid nearly $100.

The HVAC and shower had problems in the room i stayed in. Besides that this was a great hotel.

Nice clean modern rooms. Housekeeping provided extra towels without being asked. Night clerk gave Us a room switch so We could have a balcony- this was appreciated! The in room coffee is horrible but a nice thought anyway. Pool is clean. Some idiot took up 8 parking spaces with His bus one night causing Us to have to park in the adjacent restaurant, this was the only annoying part of the stay, management shouldnt let busses park in the lot.

Hotel was just as I expected. We arrived before check in time and the staff was eager to get us into our rooms early. Very clean and comfortable. Close to most local attractions and showplaces.

After a 12 hour drive, the last thing I wanted was to have problems checking in at my hotel. The reservations were not as we requested. I have an infant and requested a room with a refrigerator and since they were sold out of those rooms, we were given a handicapped room. #1 the door to the bathroom was one of those that slide and it was solid wood - we had (2) 9 year-old girls with us that could barely move it. #2 the shower had mold around the handicapped handles. #3 the carpet was so filthy that you had to brush off your feet before getting in bed and before putting on your shoes. We requested another room, but they were full. The inside pool had so much clorine that our eyes burned and we could not stay. At the breakfast area, the tables were always stick and there were never plates. The location was good for the Mustange Car Show we were there for, but for everything else, we had to drive into Myrtle Beach...... this hotel is actually considered to be in North Myrtle Beach and NOT Myrtle Beach itself. The only reason I would recommend this hotel is because it IS the Marriott and is a nice hotel for the price. But could use a little cleansiness!!!!!!

Overall the hotel was nice. Ou bathtub was absolutely nasty. Our room was not cleaned one day at all. We didn't even receive clean towels.
