While they did not accommodate us with a smoking room, which I explicitly asked for, the service was fine. Everyone seemed to have attitudes but it didn't bother me. I would stay again, it is very conveniently located by the United Center.

WE WERE A LITTLE TOO CLOSE TO THE ELEVATOR & ICE MACHINE....BEING ON THE SECOND FLOOR OUR VIEW WAS A BRICK WALL & PART OF THE PARKING LOT...THERE WAS PEOPLE SITTING & TALKING IN THE HALLWAYS AT 3 OCLOCK IN THE MORNING...THE PICTURE ON THE TV SHOWED KINDA BLURRY & SNOWY...DIDNT ENJOY THE STAY IN THE ROOM AT ALL

We went to chicago for my brothers graduation from the great lakes navel base. We picked the holiday inn because it was close to the amtrack (only three blocks away) and the blue line was right down the block. The only thing I had a problem with was that there was construction going on every where around the hotel. But that is out of the hotels control the room was clean enough to let me allow my two year old run around bare foot which doesn't happen often. We will be stayin there again for our next trip in chicago

This hotel is very handy to reach for the Union Train Station and the Blue Line Subway stop for O'hare Airport.

I picked this hotel because it was walking distance from Union Station. We took the Megabus in from Minneapolis and were only staying one night to go to Rosie O'Donnell's new show. I thought the price was a little high but worth it for me to not have to hassel with taxis to and from the station. Sean at the front desk was very nice and gave us a room upgrade. He also answered all of our questions and also watched my apples until I got back from the show. I would definately go back there again if I happen to be in Chicago:)

Awesome position for walking into downtown chicago. Clean, great service, valet parking.

To put it very simply: The staff was great: helped me find an AA Meeting. Answered questions about taxis, restaurants, neighborhood locations. Chatted with us, gave us many room keys when we kept leaving them locked in our room. Finally, and most unbelievable--were accomodating when we needed to stay extra time due to an emergency stay at the Cook County Hospital. An ambulance picked me up at the hotel and the staff did EVERYTHING RIGHT. We will definitely return.

This hotel is very convenient to the Megabus stop 3 blocks away, Union Station, Greektown, most of the Loop, and the Blue Line train. Walkers may not need to use public transportation to anywhere in the Loop or Michigan Ave sites. Rates are reasonable for downtown Chicago, and room size is very adequate for two people. Staff does a fine job cleaning rooms. I did not eat at Aurelio's--breakfast menu seemed overpriced. Air conditioning works fine. Hair dryer did not work. Complimentary newspapers arrived two of the four days. I would recommend to travelers concentrating on downtown attraction, especially if they lack a car.

The staff was very friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

Easy to get to from the Blue Line from O'Hare, convenient to market and shopping. Nice outdoor pool on top level. Overall good value for business traveler

Very convenient to Union Station - helpful staff, restaurant on site for early breakfast.

Online description stated all rooms come with a cot but when we checked in we were told none were available. Instead of King bed w/cot, we had to switch to 2 doubles.

This was my first trip to Chicago and I didn't know what to expect from a hotel downtown. I've staying in bigger cities before where the hotels were dirty and the customer service was terrible. I was surprised at how helpful the staff was, and how clean the rooms were and how fairly inexpensive it was. I was going to a concert at the UIC Pavilion and I walked to and from. Overall great place to stay, and I plan on returning on my next trip to Chicago.

While it's not quite "downtown" if you have a vehicle and lots of money to park around the loop it's a convenient hotel. It was clean and the staff was great but not the most up to date or nicest hotel. It was overpriced for what you got, but then again it is Chicago.

The hotel, Holiday Inn Suite Hotel, in Chicago, ILL located on W. Harrison St. is a place you want to go to hide away or hide out. It's back off of the street, and you should know Spanish, I received a message on the phone in Spanish, so I thought it was a prank call. It's not near any atractions, but it is near Cooks County Court House if you are visiting someone special, also, it's a half block away from the Post Office. This was the second Hotel we stayed at while there, the first one was the Double Tree and I would go back their.We walked to everything starting from Ohio St. to the Navy Peir, just wonderful their.

This hotel was not close to any restaurants or points of interest. It was necessary to walk a considerable distance or take a cab if we wanted to go anywhere.

For the money, for it being Chicago, for it being downtown Chicago the accommodation was acceptable. The staff mostly made up for any concerns about the location and the room was clean.

The hotel is conveniently located near Union Station though a walk to the CBD. Its restaurant is good value especially the soup and salad deals.

I was looking for a hotel near downtown, decent quality and a decent price. It appeared as though this was the best option - a median price for downtown and decent reviews. Overall I was satisfied with the hotel, a little pricey for me - but typical of Chicago. Contrary to what many reviews say, the pizza place in the hotel was horrible, and that is being polite. I would not reccomend it.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Chicago were great! Resturant service was a little slow. We were able to take a cab to the Field Museum/Shed Aquarium then walk to Michigan Ave., Millinium Park, The Willis Tower then about 3 blocks to the hotel. A very nice weekend for us. The kids loved the pool on the roof!

We stayed here to be close to our son during a visit. The neighborhood is not good to walk around in at night, I could hear arguing on the outdoor parking lot. It is not in the downtown area proper, so you need to take a cab most places. Rooms were OK, they were clean. The front staff was very helpful.

Great service, clean room and comfortable. Aurelio's Pizza, the best pizza in chicago, is attached to the hotel. It was great to have the convenience of dinner quickly. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located in a bad neighborhood, so walking at night is out of the question. If you plan on just a place to sleep at night, it is OK, but don't expct a nice lobby, etc. Our room was clean. The employees are nice and helpful.

Excelente ubicación, la atención del personal fue de lo mejor. Reservamos el hotel con desayuno incluido y sólo nos respetaron un cupón de 20 dólares por habitación (5 personas) y el desayuno costaba 20 dls pp. Ampliamente recomendado pero siempre y cuando se reserve sin desayuno. Definitivamente volvería..!!

ホテルはユニオン駅からほど近く、駅のインフォメーションの方もホテルの場所を知っている。安いホテルなので、治安は外資系ホテルに比べ良いとは言えないが、電車でシカゴに降り立った１泊目には便利なことこの上ない。小さいホテルのためか、従業員の方はとても細かくサービスをしてくれ気分良く過ごせました。
