Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston - كامبريدج

The room was clean and spacious. The location was great... near Museum of Science and green line. Check-in desk service was less than helpful/friendly. Checkout service was the exact opposite. Overall good stay.

It was great but some staff member did meet expectations.

Very nice, clean hotel with eager to please staff. Very clean, modern. Appreciate free internet, location across street from large mall with many nice stores. However, pool that we anticipated using closed after first day there for maintenance. Had we been told in advance that pool was closing we might have changed hotels to another with working pool.

Wonderful hotel. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. Conveniently located across the street from a shopping center. Very clean rooms with hi tech lighting (motion activated night lights, etc.). I would definitely stay here again.

Your people make the difference: Andrej and Arnold (Ah-nold), though "little guys of staff" were not only accomodating, they excelled at initiating, and it made a difference to two weary travelers who had never been to Boston before. The other folks associated with the concierge staff were also excellent, and helped us figure out things for holding luggage, going, coming, etc. I appreciated the intelligent design of the rooms; being a single traveler, room 308 was EXACTLY what I wanted (not 324, as I want the desk and bench, not armchair - you could let people know those differences, maybe, give 'em the choice). Wonderful view of Charles River and full moon, cute LED motion-sensor night lights. Liked dispensers. (DIDN'T like hair on shower wall - wasn't mine!!) I'd fuss about having the head-board right up against the elevator (that wasn't so smart), but I was fortunate that elevator travel seemed to slow after midnight. Neither of your restaurants tempted us due to unknown quality for high price, but as we had a list for eating out while we were there, it wasn't a problem. I want to come back to Boston (didn't see everything I wanted to) and I will definitely stay at the Sonesta - if things don't change, that is! Price was competitive, and the pillows (important to those of us with bad necks) were the best.

Lovely hotel and stay but some members of staff had serious attitude problems and provided poor service. Rooms were not ready AFTER check in time. Requested two rooms as close as possible to each other as we were travelling with children. The best they could offer were rooms on different floors - unacceptable.

Would highly recommend. Wonderful and very helpful folks at the front desk. Rooms far beyond my expectations. Conveniently located within a shopping district if that is what you are looking for. Can not say enough good things about Royal Sonesta. Find out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Thank You Royal Sonesta

Great view over the river and onto Boston; great walkway along the river, great restaurant-- a very nice stay and nice way to know Boston and Cambrige.

We stayed at the Royal Sonesta for an event at TD Garden and had a very nice experience. It is walking distance to TD Garden, the Museum of Science and right across the street from the Cambridge Side Galleria. The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. They let us check our bags on the day of the event even though we had already checked out so that we didn't have to lug them with us. It's a little pricey but everything in Boston is.

What a great hotel! It is clean and beautiful and the beds were very comfy! We ordered room service and that was delicious!

Small room with a great view. Parking spaces for self-parking are limited and very tight. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, and neat.

Nice Hotel. Good location. Check in was quick and easy. The river view was amazing.

Staff were mostly friendly & helpful. I was on a trip w my 3yr old & 1yr old daughters along w my father to visit family in Cambridge. Hotel location was super convenient w mall across the street & science museum down the street. Valet parking was nice. I needed a fridge for my kids' milk & the staff brought 1 for the room upon my arrival/request. I guess ppl don't always use, so it's only available upon request.

convenient to Mass General Hospital. Easy to get to from Mass Pike. Excellent service and restaurant in hotel.

I stayed here just for one night when I was in town for business. The hotel was a great location and very comfortable. I would come back again no doubt.

Lovely modern hotel with comfortable, attractive rooms. Indoor pool spectacular with a high ceiling and lots of space, good fitness room. Take some points off for the noise level in the room: ice machine on one side, service elevator on the other, high-pitched whine coming from somewhere. Slept well anyway but hope I don't get that room again! It did at least have a nice partial river view.

Very modern, well maintained hotel. Everyone was great and I would recommend it to anyone who want to take a run at a cute park next to the hotel and then go shopping at a mall right across the street. It was such a great location and great views of the river! I will be back!!

Although the enginner tried to fix it, the heat did not work well.

Unfortunately my stay was frustrating. The hotel has a good overall rating, but my experience was really below the average. When I arrived to my room, the lavatory was full of tools (they started to fix the shower door but have not finished that). When I came back, it was in order and without tools. But this time there was no hot water (I don't even know if I could say it was warm). The maintenance came, made some repairs, but noticed that the boiler was turned off. I waited for half an hour for hot water and I didn't worked out. When I made my complaint to the front desk, they moved me to a river view room (where the lamp was very poorly fixed). I must say that Ms. Lisa from the front desk tried to solve the problems very promptly and that made my stay not that bad. Anyway, the hotel need major improvements. Next time in Boston I will try other hotel. Definitely, the cost/benefit relation is not good.

Hotel was very clean and the staff were both friendly and helpful. The room was great except for the mattress which was a little mushy and the pillows were hard. And no continental breakfast?? Although the restaurant on site served quality food, it was not cheap.Lastly, the valet crew outside the hotel need some coaching on greeting people and communicating in a pleasant manner. They were rude!

for us having just one night in the area, close to airport, nice area...great restaurant, "Bondir"... close by, and the hotel was great, they gave us a river view room...almost the whole wall was glass window looking at the great view..room very comfortable, bed great, bath /shower great... we really were very happy with this hotel...staff very friendly and helpful, absolutely no complaints and I can be picky!!!

I travel alot, so problems do arise periodically in every kind & level of hotel. The key to a good hotel though is how they handle a problem. THis hotel not only handled the problems quickly, but also went a step further to be sure we were extra blessed for the inconvenience.

a great hotel just accross the river from boston with the advantage of a gym and a indoor swimming pool which is a great way to start sightseeing day. rooms really good, breakfast pricy but can go to mall accross from hotel, where there is also a terrific variety of shops including two good restaurants.

I have to say that after our visit we feel in LOVEEE with BOSTON it's an amazing city!!! The hotel was nice service was hit or miss some people where great while others where not. One thing I must warn is that it's very expensive I mean they charge 6.00 for a bottle of Poland Spring Water!!! Also one night my fiance wanted a midnight snack so he got a burger and some ice cream (what a snack lol) well that wound up costing us almost 40 dollars. Parking in Boston is horrible so get ready to pay some cabs the hotel is right across a mall and has some nice shuttle.
