We had a two night stay for our honeymoon and the location, service, quality and cleanliness of the room, and overall stay was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Idaho Falls.

While traveling through idaho falls we stayed at another hotel at the beginning of our trip and had a terrible stay. We saw the Hilton Garden down the street and switched our stay for the return/end of our trip to it and were so glad we did! The hotel was in great condition and the staff was great. Our kids loved the heated indoor pool which was complete with noodles and balls for them to play with. Our room overlooked the river where we had a great view of the river that was full of families of geese and ducks that our girls really got a kick out of. It was walking distance to everything we needed (dinner at the SandPiper a few doors down was great) and we also enjoyed breakfast,. My only complaint was that the TV channels did not include many kid choices (Disney/Nick) but we will most definitely stay here again on our next visit!

The staff were very nice. The cafe and bar were good. The room was comfortable although the 3rd floor water pressure was low. The neighborhood wasn't much to get excited about.

We needed a room for just one night and my kids wanted to stay forever. Clean room, kids loved the swimming pool, awesome view and delicious warm cookies. Would stay there again without question.

Clean, comfortable and located near the freeway. Would highly recommend.

Would have liked a little breakfast before we left. It wasn't open until 7 a.m.

We were very pleased with our room and the amenities. We were attending a reunion which was held at the hotel and they did an excellent job with the food and the decor.

Great staff. Was there for a friends wedding which was held at the hotel. Great place to have a wedding.

It what i expect a Hilton to be, new, clean and enjoyable!

We were only staying one night and the Hilton Garden Inn was a great choice! My kids and I had a blast swimming in the pool and exploring the path by the river. The free cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. Everything in our room was clean. Like other reviewers have said the shower was really slippery, and it would have been nice to have breakfast provided. Other than those two things-we had a great time and would stay here again.

besides our bed deflating by morning our stay was nice. breakfast was great in the restaurant in the hotel also.

I was a little concerned about standing in the tub to take a shower. It was a little slick, and while I did not ever actually slip I felt that there was a better than average possibility that it could happen. Over all though it was a great place to stay and the price seemed appropriate for the accommodations.

Hotel was nice and clean, food was good. Views were beautiful!

Good modern hotel. Everything was very clean, bright and quite new. Our room was large and well appointed and the self adjusting beds scored a hit with me and a miss with my wife! It feels as though the hotel is catering primarily to business travellers, aiming for efficiency rather than a laid back welcome, perhaps it feels impersonal and absent "homely touches" because of this. The restaurant was empty when we came to dinner (8:00ish) but 3 other tables were in use by the time we left. The food was good, the portions generous and the staff helpful and attentive. I wouldn't mind staying here again as I have no complaints (except that the prices were a little on the steep side) but I might want to look around at other offerings more closely.

The hotel is very beautiflul, rooms are also very good. I couldn't possibly not recommend this hotel. But nevertheless I wouldn't return. The staff is very rude. Upon our arrival we weren't greeted with a "Hello" but with a "Name!". Not a single time did the guy on the reception give us the slightest smile. I've never seen such a rude hotel employee. The room we got was facing the parking lot. It happened that a wedding was taking place that night. You couldn't even access the hotel patio, which made us book the hotel, thinking we could sit out there in the evening by the river. But no. We couldn't even get a glimpse of the view. In our memories we have a parking lot... Also the breakfast is not included and you have to order every hot dish and wait that they bring it to you and this took forever. Again, the staff wasn't very welcoming. Hotel is good, it's a Hilton, but honestly a very bad staff. Would not return to a Hilton again.

Our stay at the Hilton, ocontrary to one review I read, was fine, fine, super fine! The room was large and clean and the air conditioner, unlike the Wort in Jackson Hole, actually worked! Beds were comfy and even though there was a wedding and reception, I did not hear a sound. We were on the river side and enjoyed a lovely view with a small balcony. The internet service was superb. No going for a password!. No waiting for slow connection and response. Did not have to go find paper! (All that was true of the Wort!!) Great service.

Stayed here for one night before driving up to the Grand Tetons and was pleased with everything about the hotel other than having to wait over 30 minutes to get a shuttle ride from the airport. Hotel is nice and rooms are well decorated. AC is controlled by a thermostat which is a plus. Rooms are big and well appointed. I would definetly stay here again and is 10x better than the Red Lion down the street. Breakfast is fairly good for free

This hotel is a cross the river from the LDS Idaho Falls Temple,close to a pleasant river walk and summer-time activities, farmers' market..

The hotel was nice and the room was clean, but it was noisy upstairs in the morning

I really enjoyed the breakfast that was included, the hotel was great - only problem was the room was advertised as having a view of the river and we were on the wrong side but other than that it was really nice. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was great, it was also immaculate.

We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn in Idaho Falls. We were able to walk along the river, thanks to a small path off of the patio. The staff was friendly and helpful, and eager to accomodate. We had a deal that included the buffet breakfast - what a treat! Also, a local restaurant, Jaker's, gave us a discount because we were staying at the hotel! Even though Idaho Falls doesn't have that much to do, it was a nice relaxing stop on the way to Yellowstone. Take a nice, leisurely walk, enjoy a lovely dinner and get some wonderful sleep in their new adjustable beds! So nice!

Extremely well kept hotel, only issue I had was the air conditioner rattled constantly when on so finally turned it to off and sweated through the night. If I hadn't taken everything out of my suitcase I certainly would of complained but I was tried and ready for bed. I would have given it a 5 rating if the air conditioner was fixed. I highly recommend this to any traveler out there - their breakfast, made to order, was exceptional.

Could not be more pleased with our stay in the Hilton Garden inn in Idaho Falls. Room was clean and comfortable, the wait staff was very professional and made sure anything we had everything we needed. This is a great hotel to stay at when in or traveling through Idaho.

Very nice hotel. New style fixtures and bathroom. For the money, they could offer free continental breakfast, but they would rather soak you for something cooked up in their kitchen. Also, (and I hate this), the drapes do NOT close to shut out the sun light. They are just for looks on the side of the window.

Nice hotel by the river. We also liked the indoor pool.

This is a good place to stay. It's one of the nicer places in Idaho Falls but seedy is a good description of much of Idaho Falls, so take it with a grain of salt. The rooms are clean. They appear well kept and the beds are new (as of June 2011) and comfortable. They is a tiny bar with mediocre whisky and a small but varied selection of bottled beers. (no data on the wine, sorry). They have the standard Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner in a typically small but comfortable dining area off the lobby. There is a nice patio with a bar out back that has a great view of the falls. Parking is ample and the staff was pleasant enough. Honestly it’s just a good 3 star but I bumped it up to account for its condition relative to the other hotels in the area.

The bed was so comfortable! It was quite for a Friday night! The hotel staff was pleasant. We would stay here again and recommend.

Perfect room, with balcony over looking the Snake River. We had a separate king room w/bath and separate living room w/powder room. Wonderful time.

Excellent hotel. If you are in Idaho Falls, there is no better place to stay.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations for this type of hotel. The hot breakfast was superior to most.

Summer roadtrip...booked a variety of hotels in different cities across the west. Had never stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn. Now I know what we have been missing! Stayed at three different Hilton Garden Inn hotels...Denver, Idaho Falls, and Salt Lake City. All three had an upscale feel: nicely decorated lobby and seating areas, pool, workout room, and the Idaho Falls location had a beautiful outdoor deck area that overlooked the Snake river. The rooms are very nice, with marble showers and sinks, oversized baths, rain showerheads, wonderful desk/chair combos, refrigerators, microwaves, in-room coffee, and the absolute BEST beds and linens! They all had down pillows and comforters, cool high thread count linens, nice firm but plush mattresses on sleigh beds. Slept VERY well all three nights! And the cost? Just a bit more than a Motel 6...about the same as a Holiday Inn or a Super 8...AND we also were provided FREE BUFFET BREAKFAST which was absolutely delicious! Seriously...this is about the best comfort/value combination I've ever seen at a hotel chain. Next roadtrip I'm going to look only for Hilton Garden Inn hotels. They're fabulous!!
