My wife and I stayed 2 nights for a weekend getaway. Here's a tip: The north side of the hotel backs up to another buidling, so the view isn't very nice. You want to request a room on the 3rd floor or higher and on the south side of the hotel. That way you get a nice view of the park, and you're above the street lights so they're night shining through your window. It's very clean, and the staff is super friendly. They do their best to accommodate special requests. Great pool and hot tub. A nice little bistro is attached to the hotel. No free continental breakfast, but go down to the lobby in the morning and they serve free Starbucks coffee. The location is great--right in the heart of downtown. Located close to Art Museum, Discovery World, Historic 3rd Ward, restaurants, and easy access to I-94.

We spent two night at this hotel in downtown Milwaukee. It was within walking distance of lots of fun attractions. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better service. I would recommend it and would love to go back!

Pool and hottub were nice. If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the hotel to stay at. It's more business. Good service though...nice hotel.

We've stayed at many hotels in Milwaukee over the past few years, but this is our favorite! Great location, comfortable beds, friendly staff, connected to the mall, nice pool and hot tub!

Friendly staff. Kid friendly. Breakfast included, delicious and large portions! Connected to the mall and able to walk to all the sights of downtown MKE. Great rate. Kids had a good time; fun pool. Clean. Nicely decorated. Didn't like the $15 to park however.

Needed an overnight stay while visiting Milwaukee for a birthday party. Downtown location was very convenient and good price for the value.

Great hotel, friendly staff and valet is definately worth it!

We were disappointed because we were told on the phone by hotels.com that we would have suites with a separate bedroom from the living area. That was not the case. We were also told that breakfast was included for $13.00 more per room for our 2 rooms, and it was not included. The hotel said that they would notify hotels.com about this. We have a young grandchild who has health problems and it would have been much easier with a different room arrangement. I would have chosen a different hotel had I known that we wouldn't have the separate room. There were suites in this hotel like that, but they were all booked.

This hotel was great! I am so glad I took the time to research hotels before booking. They had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! The staff was very friendly. I will stay here again.

when I got back to my room around 12am the guests in the next room were having a very loud party and had to call the front desk-then after my stay I was charged an additional $40 which I have no idea what for.

Very helpful staff. Downtown, the Lakefront and Marquette University were all in walking distance. Would definitely recomment.

We stayed at this Courtyard Hotel while attending a wedding event. Could not have made a better choice. It really topped off our weekend. Every single employee that we had contact with was so friendly, including the valet guys. Our room was super clean and very quiet. We will always stay here when visiting Milwaukee.

Very good location and newly remodeled lobby was very nice.

* Note: i only stayed one night. I arrived @ 9 pm, and left @ 7am the next morning. I thought the location was fine. I was greeted by a friendly valet when I pulled up, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. I was unable to get wifi in my 6th floor room, but had no problems in the lobby. The room was pretty average for a Courtyard - nothing special. The bed was comfortable, but a bit soft. The bathroom was dated, but certainly served the purpose. Given my very short time there, I can't comment on any other amenities, sorry. I would go back here if I needed a decent place in the downtown area.

Good location. clean, comfortable hotel. Staff was pleasant. Parking was reasonable at $15 a day. Would stay again.

You can't beat the location right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Minutes from Miller Park, connected to the Grand Ave Mall, close to the lakefront, it worked out just fine for us. The staff was friendly and efficient. The one glitch we had was that the hotel ran out of the room we requested, two queen beds, but they upgraded us to a king suite for the same price. Can't beat that especially when you have three small kids with you. I would stay again for sure.

The staff were friendly and professional. The bed was VERY comfortable.

I arrived in at midnight, valet parked my car and brought in my own bags as the valet sat and watched. Then after lugging 4 bags to my room, they hadn't programmed the key and had to go back for a new one. The construction banging began at 8am and we weren't warned about it. Finally, I left 2 expensive (over 1grand each) in my room and they were magically never turned in. Worse yet, they were rude when I tried to call and recover them. Never never stay here. It's NOT within Marriott standards by a any means.

Great hotel. Great location. Staff was allways polite and helpfull. Lounge area was under construction during my stay. If lounge mirrors rest of hotel when finished, should be phenominal. Hotel attatched to mall proved very convienient. Not a big mall shopper but having so much available was comforting.

We stayed in Milwaukee for the Bulls vs. Bucks game on 3/26/11, and the hotel was nice and a great location to many venues. Buy breakfast when you book the room, it's MUCH cheaper! It is $12 for each adult for the hot buffet and was only $7 for 2 of us when we prepaid when we booked the room. The food was really good and stayed open until 11 am - which is great for people who like to sleep. Also, the King sized bed was SO comfortable, we didn't want to get up! No bar or entertainment there but saw a sign that lobby renovations were coming soon (Spring 2011) and it looked like a bar would be installed. When trying a place to eat, DON'T go to the Applebees around the block!! JUST DON'T!! Ghetto beyond belief and we left within 1 min. Music with tons of N-word swears was BLASTING at 10 pm and nobody was being serviced- everyone was just walking out- it was like a weird twilight zone, Ghetto-version, scene. The hotel was great but could've been a little cheaper, I heard the InterCon was $40 cheaper, just as close, and WAY nice for a weekend price. I don't think they have a pool like this Marriot does, which was small but a really nice feature with a hot tub. Everyone loves a hot tub. Nice carpet and ok room decor. We would recommend it but it should be around $79 a room for the weekends, not more. The employees were nice and down to earth. Relaxing people.

Very convenient location for downtown Milwaukee related activities. Hotel location was 4 blocks from the Bradley Center sports arena and adjacent to the downtown shopping mall. Also, just a refreshing 12 block walk to the Marquette University campus. Room was adequate as we were not spending a lot of time in it. King bed was comfortable but bed pillows were extremely small. Furniture was old and outdated. Cable tv signal faded on a frequent basis. Bathroom sink stopper was not functional resulting in standing water. Hotel maintenance promptly fixed the issue when we were out of the room for the day. No refrigerator or microwave were available.

Hotel is very nice. Friendly staff. However, I prepaid parking and the parking pass did not work either one of the two times I tried, causing delay in exiting. If the hotel can't sort this out with the city (the lot is city-owned), then they should warn you when you register so you might just use your credit card to exit the parking lot. Also, I think the breakfast should complimentary, as it is in many places.

Hotel was great and so was everything around there that we did for dinner and shopping. Hotel desk was very helpful.

As always the room was very clean and roomy with a separate desk/chair and couch area. I'm very loyal to most courtyards as they are a good value. The location was perfect, attached to a shopping mall which was convenient since it rained most of the weekend. Many bars, restaurants and museums to walk to. The only negative thing I have to say is don't bother going to the Applebee's in the attached building, very rude servers and a 3 drink maximum no matter what? Not a place to watch a 3 hour game...

The hotel was clean and an easy walk to restaurants and the Pabst Theater and Riverside. Very nice. The bed was soft on one side and firm on the other but otherwise it was quite a bargain. And the water pressure in the shower was fabulous!

My daughter and I stayed here on 13 Nov. I'll be honest with you, I didn'tlook to see what type of parking they had here before I booked. It was $15 if I parked the car and $18 for valet parking. Certainly worth the additional $3 for someone else to park and retreive my vehicle. It is attached to a very nice mall and is very close to alot of the downtown attractions. Breakfast was great too!

Everything was wonderful!

The hotel was acceptable and the staff were polite and competent. The only meal we ate at the hotel was the Sunday morning buffet. Horrid is probably too extreme a term for it. But to be honest the breakfast meats, potatoes and scrambled eggs were tasteless. We'd stay there again but wouldn't eat there if we had an alternative.

Our stay went well at the Courtyard Marriot. The area is situated in downtown Milwaukee and walking distance to the Historic District, downtown dining, and the Public Market. The room was nice, and they gave us a microwave and mini fridge with request. Just call a week or so before the date and ask for it to be put in your room. That really helped since we could put our leftovers in the fridge for later snacks. The only issues I have with the room was the inconsistency with the air conditioner. It was either too hot or too cold, I couldn't seem to get it perfect. But that wasn't horrible. The cable selection available was rather low, no VH1 or MTV. And the picture on most of the local channels was fuzzy or had a lot of static. The two issues were not huge and I would stay there in the future without hesitation.
