Hotel is right at the campus, great location to visit the University of Pennsylvania. Overall, very good hotel, spacious rooms, clean and updated. Good price/value over the Easter weekend. Only negative is the very high price the hotel charges for (valet) street parking.

My sister and I stayed at the Penn and found everything we needed nearby...shopping, dining and sightseeing. The hotel staff were very friendly and our rooms had all the amenities including flat screen televisions and ipads with free wi-fi conectivity. We were very pleased.

Went for a campus visit at U Penn and this hotel is very convenient since it's literally 2 blocks from College Hall. All of the staff were very polite and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. If there were any drawbacks, they were that we couldn't check in until 5:00 because our room wasn't ready so we had to keep calling the front desk to see when we could check in. The hotel restaurant, Penne, had a very limited menu and while the restaurant was virtually empty when we were there, the service was very poor. They were very nice, just never around when you needed something. There are literally hundreds of restaurants in the area so I wouldn't let this deter you from an otherwise wonderful stay.

If you are visiting UPenn, you cannot get any closer. The hotel has been recently remodeled and the room was clean, comfortable and very modern (i.e. iPads in every room). Proximity can also have its downside as many shool and studeent groups also use the hotel and on more than one occasion were there large groups of teenagers roaming, sitting and playing in the hallways.

Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Clean rooms with great modern decor. Most comfotable bed I have slept in for a while. A walk to UPenn campus. Good restaurants close by.

Great hotel with all the amenities of a 4-star hotel, right in the middle of campus. The Palestra, Quad, Smoke's...all within a 5 minute walk. Great place!

We had the opportunity to stay one night in this beautiful hotel. Everything from the service we received as soon as we pulled up in front, to the return of our car was top notch. We had dinner in Penne, an Italian restaurant within the hotel. The food was outstanding, and the manager made his way to our table several times to ensure we were happy, including refilling our water glasses himself. We had breakfast the next morning at the University Club, also within the hotel for one of the most wonderful breakfast buffets we have ever experienced. Our room was lovely, all of the modern amenities, a beautiful bathroom with top of the line complimentary bath products. My husband, however, did not get a good night's sleep. He said the fan on the heating system kept him awake, and that the air was very dry. I found it to be most comfortable, slept very well, and even though I normally have sinus issues and am very sensitive to dry air, I did not have any issues. And can I just say that we had the best in-room coffee EVER! Anywhere else we have stayed for many years that has an in-room coffeemaker (which is almost everywhere as I'm sure you know), the coffee has tasted pretty bad. This was wonderful!!

Our room was wonderfully appointed and comfortable. Because it wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm, we were treated to buffet breakfast the following morning. A very nice offer considering it was only a 10 minute wait. They were also very courteous and flexible when we asked for a late checkout.

Staff & Room were great. Complimentary use of ipad in each room. Nice surprise.

Everything was amazing. The only thing that gave us a bit of trouble was regulating the A/C in the room. It would get too hot when it kicked in and too cold when it kicked off. Eventually we figured out just to turn it off altogether. Otherwise, fantastic experience, service, and location. Will go back again.

Outstanding service and response to issues.

A bit expensive but very friendly staff and excellent service. The rooms are clean and there is room service via i-pad.

The hotel is newly renovated and done very well. The valet was friendly and helpful, but the cost of parking is unreasonable (4 times what I paid at other hotels) and self parking isn't an option. The staff at the front desk was also friendly and helpful and gave us a full run through of everything the hotel had to offer. The room was a little small, but clean and comfortable. They had iPads in the rooms for easy access of information and room service could be ordered right from the iPad. We decided to order room service and got through selecting our order on the iPad, but when we hit submit it told us our order could not be completed and to call the front desk. The front desk sent an iPad tech to our room and had room service call us to take out order. The room service guy sounded rather annoyed to be talking to me and the iPad tech hit the home button a few times till the screen refreshed then told me everything was fine and to try again. I don't think he knew what the problem was even though I explained it a few times. I didn't care since I had already placed my order and we awaited our meal. Once our food arrived I found that my avocado club with horseradish sauce had neither avocado nor horseradish sauce as was advertised on the menu. And the hot chocolate that was so elegantly described on the menu turned out to be a packet of swiss miss next to a cup of warm milk. I think the kitchen staff was having a bad night. The price of our meal was closer to that of a four star restaurant than a plan club, burger and do it yourself hot chocolate. Overall, if you don’t have a car and don’t order room service it’s a great place to stay.

I worked a basketball tournament at the Palestra and could walk there in 5 or 10 minutes. My wife and infant son came with me and were treated with fantastic respect. The room was clean, new, had lots of space and was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I am used to high-end hotels nickel and diming guests. This hotel provided a complimentary Ipad, refrigerator and bottled water.

We Stayed at this hotel last year and since that time the place has seen some very cool updates. Our room had an IPAD in it, The room key controlled the lights and temperature and there was new flat screens not only in the room but at the end of our hall way. VERY NICE

I thought $39 of valet parking was rather expensive if my car is "valet parked" across the street from the hotel on the street.

very nice and clean hotel, close to drexel and penns campuses. two or so blocks from the subway. they haveipads in the rooms for hotel services and internet acess, unfortunatly the server was down the whole time i was there.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The size of the room, service, kindness, brunch, and convenience were excellent.

Great hotel, Very clean! Our only problem was that we were there for a half marathon and ordered breakfast for 6:15am. It did not arrive until 6:45 when we called for it. They said they had a lot of requests for this time (6 requests, which we did not find to be "a lot"). After the food got there, they were missing two items and we could not eat anyway bc we had to leave for race!

We were pleasantly surprised to see the modern updates to this hotel. Ipads in every room, nice cozy beds, very convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

I have been to this hotel before and thought it was great, but this stay was even better. The hallways and rooms have been recently renovated with both luxury and energy efficiency in mind, plus free wireless and an a dedicated ipad in every room! Wow! The staff were absolutely wonderful as always- prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. The location is terrific for a conference at or visit to UPenn. We will be back.

We are very picky hotel people in terms of price, cleanliness and comfort. Recently we stayed three nights at the Inn at Penn because our daughter was looking at UPenn. We had such a positive experience at the hotel: our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable; the staff were friendly and responsive; the location was unbeatable; and the price for our stay was very reasonable. We even found parking at a decent price only a couple of blocks away. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and also plan on returning to the Inn at Penn the next time we are in Philly!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and felt safe. The staff were very very accomodating., most especially the front desk and bellmen.

The Hilton Inn at Penn was clean, well maintained with good size rooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and, most important, the hotel was extremely convenient to U Penn. I will stay here on all future visits to Penn.

Lovely hotel, two blocks from Wharton. The staff was very accommodating for my special needs. Nice room with two double beds. Mine was a bit too soft and mattress needed to be turned. Otherwise, very comfortable, would stay there again. Excellent food in the Penne restaurant.

We had a problem with the breakfast restaurant--waiting 45 min for pancakes and then the order was wrong when it came. We walked out as we didn't have time to wait another 45 min. We felt we were being punished for not ordering the full buffet, which was highly encouraged. But when this was mentioned later at the front desk, a manager had complimentary cheese and fruit brought to the room along with coupons for the breakfast buffet for the next day. I felt they did what they could to rectify the situation.

If you need to visit the Wharton school for an interview or otherwise, this Hotel is 1.5 blocks away. You can see Huntsman Hall from several of the rooms. The convenience is great but University City is pretty run-down. Stay in center city if you want more stuff to do.

The Hilton was a great stay, I just wish the parking situation did not cost $32 and the wireless internet was $13.00. Service great! Room perfect! Area was safe!

When we walked into the room, it smelled absolutely clean and fresh and wonderful! The room was extremely comfortable, quiet and within walking distance to the 30th St Amtrak station.. Perfect!

Room was comfortable and plush, and the location for anything in University City cannot be beat. Terrific.

Great staff and great location. The actual lobby is one floor above hotel entrance. Highly recommend. Near schools and great restaurants.DG

There is no free internet in the room, but more than $12 should be paid! Using internet in the room is inevitable nowadays. Why don't they involve the internet fee in the room rate? I knew that there is parking available on the hotels.com, but i should paid $32 for valet parking. No other option. The receptionists were not kind. So rigid. Like as early 1900's picture.They should have been kind to the customer paying higher room rate!

We liked everything about the Hilton Inn at Penn. Very nice staff, great room, would recommend this hotel.
