Our stay was a blessing to us that we will never forget!! Wonderful staff!! Everyone was so very helpful and Star and Courtney went above and beyond our expectations of kindness and helpfullness.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Shopping and a variety of restruarnts were close by. I will stay here in the future.

It was a very pleasurable stay. The staff were very pleasant. It was conveniently located. My only suggestion would be that they have a lamp beside the couch and possibly position the tv there as well rather than in front of the bed. In this way someone could be watching tv while another person was sleeping.

This property was exactly as advertised. Comfy room, free WIFI, great location, friendly staff. No issues or complaints.

The front desk clerk looked bored and troubled by us checking in. No greetings or pleasantries. The room looked okay initially but the noise from the plumbing in the bathroom at night sounded like a train idling. The bed was uncomfortable and killed our backs and the comforter slid off the bed all night. Then we were woken up by housekeeping rapping loudly on our door with a keycard at about 8 am with our "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door!!! This was by far the most disappointing Hampton I've stayed in.

Nice and clean hotel

This is a very nice, friendly, clean place to stay! The staff are extrememly helpful and the breadfasts are great! Good and updated workout room, too!

Excellent accommodation for your value as well as good hotel service.…I travel a lot and when I am in the area will stall here. Would recommend! Close to Richmond, Va.

Remember all the bad things you read about hotels. This hotel has non of these. It's a great place to stay and be. Loved it. Second time around as great as the first. Thank you! looking forward to my third time in 2012.

We enjoyed our stay in the Hampton Inn. Unfortunately, the power went out in the middle of breakfast but obviously this isn't the hotel's fault per se. We booked thru hotels.com, arrived very late and had no problems whatsoever. The room was immaculate. The staff was courteous. There was coffee and a typical array of breakfast items. What's not to like?

Hampton Inn maintains a consistently high quality in guest room comfort. After a long day of travel, I look forward to the cleanliness and pleasant surroundings available at Hampton Inn.

We were disappointed in the Bkfst offerings on Wed. a.m., 8/3. Went out to bkfst. The bath tub had a strange shape when showering; made one feel like they might fall. While the location was convenient, we probably would look for another spot next time. I did not think the usual HI quality was eevident at this Hampton Inn. P.S. On our return trip we stayed at the HI in Chambersburg, PA. Excellent rating!!!!

Hampton is always a nice hotel. My favorite thing is how comfortable the bed and pillows are, which is something seriously lacking in many hotels! It's a great nights sleep with courteous and friendly staff.

The next time we visit our Grandaughter in Mechanicsville we will be staying here .Everyone we came in contact with went out of their way to be polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good and there was hot coffee all day. We never had to ask for anything, it was always available. Kudos to the people who work here.

Stayed here for a family gathering. Grandchildren loved the inside pool. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choices. Enjoyed our room on the top floor - quiet and clean. Great location with shopping and many restaurants nearby. Stop here every year on our way from Florida to NH. Personnel were all very friendly and eager to be of assistance.

I've stayed at this hotel before and every time I come home to Richmond this is my hotel of choice rest my head. I would proudly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.

Hotel is undergoing renovations, bathroom hadn't been renovated yet. Breakfast was okay, offerings were limited.

I was quite pleased with my stay. I was greeted in a polite and professional manner. My room was clean and comfortable. I have not complaints. I would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

They have a wonderful staff, extremely helpful and acommodating. The hotel needs to be renovated, however. Old ac unit could not get a comfortable temp in the room. Older tv. Bathroom older. Toilet in bad shape, bathtub cracked, etc. Overall a decent experience but a bit overpriced for the condition of hte place. Lots of convenient stuff nearby. Hotel great about having info on dining, with printouts of restaurants, phone numbers, etc.

It took 2 hours to check in. Front desk tried to blame Expedia but it was apparent after a while that it was the front desk's problem. Horrible customer service on the part of the manager on duty. Also, the bathrooms were not very clean. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was easy to find, the room was very comfortable and clean. Even though we only stayed one night it was a very good experience and I would consider staying there again. The staff was friendly and accomodating. It was also a very good value for the price.

We were quite pleased in the quiet location of this hotel. It is easy to access major highways. The staff is concerned and polite. We misplaced an item while staying at the hotel, realized it was missing after we had checked out and called the front desk. The main day clerk was kind enough to check the entire room, the elevator and hallways and parking lot. She then returned our call. We appreciate their personal concern and care.

The hotel is a very nice hotel. The employees are very hospitable and has very good customer service skills toward the customers.

We picked this hotel because it was a good price, out of the city, and had an indoor pool and free breakfast. We were disappointed when we got there and the pool was filled just closed until the following week and the breakfast was modified because they just redid their counters in the main lobby. We asked a couple of employees if they would be able to put out the waffle maker but apparently it was too hard for them to scoot another table over to accommodate that. (several guests were upset about this). However, the room was big and the bed comfortable. We had hot water to shower with and plenty of towels and pillows. All in all, it wasn't a bad hotel, I just wish that we could have known about all the things that weren't available before we booked.

Not a good hotel to stay at while under construction. Loud. I also found the beds hard and the heating and air to be very loud.

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and quiet, all the employees were extremely helpful, and the basic amenities were more than I was expecting.

Wow!! This was the best - the room very clean & roomy. Everything we needed was available (except the pool). Bedding & pillows were luxurious and the breakfast over & beyond our usual complimentary ones we usually encounter. Wonderful experience & highly recommended. We will stay at Hamptons from now on.

I was in Mechanicsville, VA for a family reunion and needed a place close to my family. The Hampton Inn was a perfect location. It's close proximity to my family as well as shopping and restaurants made it a good choice for me.

Nice hotel. Came in on a late flight (11 pm) and checked in no hassle. Great rate too!!!

We had a great experience at this hotel if you don't include the parking accomadations. On both evenings we had to park in an aisle because each and every parking spot was in use. There is an adjacent hotel and their spots were also used up. I was not happy with the front desks attitude when I asked them where to park my car.

The room was nice but totally forget the FREEZING pool.....NOT heated at all.....was in and out in 5 minutes and frozen...ridiculous cold water. Also, Hotels.com advertises FREE rollaway beds, they are NOT free....$15..... Breakfast here at the Hampton Inn was marginal....not one of the best Hampton Inn breakfast's we've had. Would try another hotel before I stayed there again.

This location is very central, and an easy drive to the Richmond Airport, downtown Richmond, Williamsburg, and Norfolk. Shopping and restaurants all over the place in the surrounding area. Would highly reccomend.

The service at this Hampton Inn is excellent. Location is great and the hotel is clean.

Very happy with the accommodations. Was difficult to find the hotel at night. It was dark and my GPS told me to turn to the right, but it was actually on the left.

Great overnight stay. Clerk was very helpful with information about places nearby to shop and eat.
