The place was amazing, we just wished to have the pool open, however i found out that we could go next door to the next marriott ....the ladies at the counter were so amazig and helpful and i loved the breakfast that we could just go get it and take it back to our room for the kids and we didnt have to haul the kids to the breakfast!! i am definately booking this hotel for the next convention in layton. we could walk back and forth the convention center and loved having he kitchen to cook to help with expenses... please make sure the two nights get creditited to my account

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed an extra nite. They had crib for the baby. Pool clean. Downside was older hotel, and housekeeping did half assed job. Never washed sink or tub. Never vacuumed. An average hotel. Stay bcuz of housekeeping but otherwise good!

This was perfect for my wife and I and four large boys.

Our suite had two bedrooms, kitchen, & living/diing room. It is on the same road as the Antelope Island State Park/Great Salt Lake, so that was really nice. We were travelling with my in-laws, so it was really nice for us to have two separate bedrooms. The couch in the lving room folded out, so my daughter went to sleep in our bed and we carried her out to the fold out sofa when the adults had gone to sleep. There was coin laundry on site and the front desk had plenty of change. There is a smaller shopping center across the street. The hotel has an exercise room with a Precor bike, elliptical & treadmill, a few weights and a weight bench. All were in good working condition during our stay. The breakfast was somewhat limited, maybe because each room comes with a kitchen. There was cold cereal, yogurt, coffee and some fresh fruit. Also some muffins. The front desk folks told me at check in that it was a grab and go breakfast, so I had the idea that there would be hot sandwiches in brown bags to grab. What they meant is that there is no seating for breakfast, so you have to take it to your room. Also a good idea to bring a container as it gets difficult to carry breakfast items and coffee. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We had problems with our key cards and they fixed the problem promptly.

Good service, good location, and comfortable.

There were many small details that have long been a hallmark of Marriott family hotels. This hotel falls short. From sloppy replacement of molding near the tub to excessive noise from the fan in the bathroom, to burn marks on the floor in the kitchen, this hotel seemed more interested in turning over the rooms quickly than taking the extra steps to meet the standards established by the Parent Company, Marriott. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel in a good location with little attention given to the details of a quality hotel this will work. If you are expecting a Marriott, you are at the wrong place.
