Nice hotel. Everything you'd expect from a 4star. Good base for a weekend in Dublin city centre. Someone tipped the hotel off that it was our anneversy and they left a bottle of bubbly in our room. Free of charge. Nice touch.

We stayed in the Hilton for St Patricks weekend and had a great experience. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. All attractions were only a 15 min walk away.Definitely a hotel we would recommend.

Very enjoyable stay for a rugby weekend. wlking distance of Aviva stadium. Comfortable room with complimentary water. Good buffet breakfast. all staff very friendly and helpful. A little difficult to locate by car due to one way traffic system. Would stay again and recommend.

Stayed in the Hilton for one night .Plenty of parking checking in was very quick with very friendly staff at reception .Hotel room was lovely and very clean. Hotel was a great location only one stop away from Grafton street on the luas.breakfast was very nice I would stay at this hotel again .

I found it unacceptable that free Wi-Fi was not available in my room. It was offered at a rate of approx. €4/5 with free wifi in the lobby.

Road works are outside and unfortunately are spoiling the location and make the stay uncomfortable. Usually this hotel is really good, and hopefully once the works are complete, they can come back.

Fantastic hotel, very busy, room A++++++, 2 tram stops from St Stevens square, breakfast till 12 on a weekend so you can have a lie in !! Would definately stay again.

Hotel was really convenient to St Stevens green - 10 minute walk - staff were really friendly & helpful, lovely atmosphere. would recommend, plus there is a lovely pub just across the road called the Barge - good food and lovely atmosphere.

An extremely clean modern hotel, close to St Stephens Green in the centre of Dublin. Very comfy rooms and cheerful helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel if you need a break in Dublin and look forward to going back in a couple of months time. Many thanks to all the staff who dealt with us.

We stayed at this hotel just after Christmas for 6 nights, and it was fine. The staff were very friendly, and it was handy to have the LUAS tram line just outside the door.The room was basic but clean. My only complaint was the shower. There was no shower pressure at all, the water just trickled over you. I would stay here again but would check the shower pressure before I settled into the room.

Transportation to center stops right in front of hotel. Check-in not available until 4pm (not unusual, but bears noting if you are arriving after a transatlantic flight). Nice bar, warm breakfast buffet, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Nice neighborhood pub right down the street. Pleasant jogging route along the canal. Would book there again.

Only 3 small things Booking site opening link stated Stephens Green but when I had hotel booked and my husband queried it and I looked further and it cited 'Stephen's Green neighbourhood'. Secondly bed in wrong place in relation to TV. Thirdly the towels were thread bear, hard and worn. I just love the luxury of soft fluffy towels. Every member of staff was obliging and attentive - well done to all and thanks

I stayed in the Hilton Hotel Charlemont Place last weekend and it was the most pleasant stay i have ever had in any hotel. The staff were friendly, and so helpful, esp in Reception. There was a special treat of hot mince pies after a shopping trip with a note hoping we enjoyed our day and to enjoy the treat ....The Luas line is outside the door and a stop away and you are in Stephens Green, and a couple of stops the other way you are in Dundrum. It is excellent value and i would recommend getting the breakfast .it was excellent...,,I would highly recommend a stay there....

Very nice hotel just a few mins walk from St Stephen's Green. The Charlemont LUAS stop is just outside the front door. Excellent bar and restaurant.

The Hilton in Charlemont Place, Dublin is idally suited to my needs. The location adjacent to the Luas is convenient for me both socially and work wise. My recent stay was both comfortable and value for money. Though the Hotel seemed extremely busy I experienced absolutly no noise or disturbance. My breakfast was excellent. I will stay again.

The service is very good. The front of the hotel is not comply with his reputation.

Generally, the hotel was fine, but not what I expected of either a 4-star hotel or a Hilton. We experienced issues with television and internet services. Internet service was outrageously expensive. Concierge was helpful, food was decent, and rooms were fine. No drawers however so suitcase was constantly in use. Area of hotel was central and convenient.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Will definitely choose to stay at this hotel if I visit Dublin again.

I stayed for one night recently and have to say the hotel was ideally located for the city. There are taxis waiting outside, and also the luas green line is right outside the hotel. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The bathroom had a bath, with shower overhead and toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, conditoner, soap etc) were all supplied. The room itself also had a nice sized lcd flat screen tv and a radio which seemed to have buttons on the top to select which genre of music you wanted, such as pop, countrty, rock etc although I didnt use this so can't comment on how it works/sounds etc. My main gripe would be the lack of 'complimentayr' wifi to guests, either in the main hotel lobby/bar or the rooms. The Hilton really drops the ball on this one. I have stayed in all sorts of hotels with varying star ratings throughout Ireland and I have to say I have yet to come across one that charges for guests to access the internet like the Hilton does. This really was a huge let down for me as I work in the IT sector and just felt like it was penny pinching and opportunism at it's worst by the Hilton. Luckily I had a good 3G signal which got me by and I didn't have to pay the hiltons exhorbitant prices. The only other gripe I had really was on the morning of checkout, I phoned housekeeping twice, got no answer, phoned reception three times, finally got an answer - and all I wanted was some sugar for my tea in the room. A half hour passed and I had to phone reception again - the sugar finally arrived ten minutes later - a total of 40 minutes and six phone calls!! Totally ridiculous, i appreciate it was 9am and staff were busy with breakfast, but to have to go to this extent and wait so long is still unacceptable. Please don't let my two gripes put you off this hotel however, it really is a very relaxing, comfortable and well located hotel and the staff themselves were very cheerful and pleasant. But please please do get the guest internet access sorted out Hi

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this Hotel and would definately recommend it. It's approx 10min walk to St Stephens Green, so about 20min walk to Temple Bar - but I much prefer the Grafton St area of Dublin anyway. Staff are friendly and rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. I will definately be staying here again.

Very nice hotel, with tram stop right outside the front door, allowing you to get into the city centre in 5 minutes. Not the most competitivley priced hotel, dare I say it was overpriced - but as I had stayed here before it was a case of "better the devil you know".. Had breakfast been included in the rate then it would represent a much better deal.

Fairly modern, smart hotel offering good value for money in 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre.

Ideally located with the Luas rail service on its doorstep, 10 minute walk to city centre or 5 mins on the Luas. Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Would definitely stay again some day.

The recent stay at the Hilton Dublin was on the whole very good. Initially the location was a good walk from the city centre, but fortunately the Luas (the overground tram system) was right outside the hotel. Two stops away from St. Stephens Green and runs every 15 mins. The restaurant was not open on Sunday but bar meals (not really a very good menu) was available. A typical Hilton.

good value, room was excellent, service with a smile, food was good and reasonably priced, great for a short weekend break in Dublin, having a Luas station right outside is great for easy access to Grafton St and Stephens green area shopping etc. would definitely stay there again

Absolutely top class hotel. Excellent location for those looking to sample the great night life that Dublin has ot offer but also looking for a good night sleep. Have to say it's one of the most peaceful hotels I have ever stayed in. Brilliant access to Stephens Green and Grafton Street - either 10 minutes on foot or catch the Luas which is literally outside the front door of the hotel. Also excellent value for parking at 10.00 per night. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody. Was very impressed with the hotel and the location and will definitely be returning.

We spent 4 nights at the Hilton Charlemont after getting a great deal on hotels.com. Overall, we were really very happy, the hotel is of a very good 4 star standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing a free map and directions. The room was spacious with a chair to recline in and another chair and desk. The bathroom was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast offered everything you could want, although there can be queues at peak times. We enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal in the hotel restaurant (22 euros pre-theatre menu) and also a really nice meal in the hotel bar. The restaurant/ bar prices were very reasonable as Dublin is not a cheap place to dine out or drink. The only small drawback is the location, the hotel is not very central, but if it was, I imagine that the rates would be much higher. There are buses 2 streets over from the hotel that can take you to near Temple Bar/ Trinity College/ O'Connell Street. There is also a tram adjacent to the hotel that will take you to St Stephen's Green/ the top of Grafton Street. We got a combined bus/tram ticket when we arrived at Dublin airport (30 euros for 7 days) and jumped straight on the 747 bus to the city centre. I would recommend the Hilton Charlemont to anyone who is looking for a comfortable hotel who doesn't mind sacrificing a little on the location. We believe that it is worth it.

We booked this hotel for a girlie weekend for 14 of of us and we had a great stay. The staff were helpful and courtous and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Some of us had a meal in the resturant which was lovely and the breakfast was first class.

Excellent value for money within a short walking distance of the city centre.

Room was not ready untill after 5:30 pm!! The front desk personnel was just horrid. Breakfast buffet Eggs were cold as well as the beans and bacon Ask for a newspaper was told check with the bar to see if they had one! When we went into Breakfast areas their were papers right at the counter. Staff was just not up to the job. Im in Ireland every two years at a Min. Would not stay at this hotel ever again

Highly recommended!!! Stayed here for 2 nights on the 27th and 28th April 2011. Friendly staff, great breakfast and a large room and bathroom. Extremely affordable and good location, 10 minutes walk from St Stephens Green. Quality and affordability. Will definitely stay there again!

The hotel was in an out-of-the-way location, but was still a quick taxi ride or longish walk from most sights. It was exactly what one would expect of a Hilton - clean, comfortable, reliable service...seemed right on the mark in terms of value for money!
