Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort - هيرادورا

A quality Marriot property. Marriot has two full scale resorts in Costa Rica, this one on the beach and one in San Jose. Both are excellent and similar. The beach is beautiful but not ideal for swimming. Sand is course and rocky. The pool complex is outstanding including a swim up bar. This was our second visit and we recommend.

Amazing resort, probably the best in this region perhaps in all costa rica.

We have some friend who live in the area and we needed a place to stay, Los Suenos was what we settled on. We were looking at some of the hotels, but boy are we glad we stayed here. The resort is fabulous. One negative is that prices on food here were on the high side for what you got. The breakfast buffet was great, but get the "healthy breakfast" there is a lot there to choose from vs the standard buffet. Standard includes eggs and pancakes. Oh, and the coffee down there was great too. All in all we really liked the Los Suenous Marriott and would recommend it to anyone. OH YEA, we were there in the off season and it is a GREAT time to come here.

At first I looked at more remote beaches, but then decided to spend money on the hotel rather than the travel. I was happy with my choice. The bus ride from San Jose was about 2 hours and fairly pleasant. The Marriott has a great pool. One trouble is that the public bus stops at about 10pm, so if you want to go out, you may need to take a $12 taxi ride back from Jaco. I don't recommend hitching, but it's possible. I'm probably an atypically cost-conscious guest for this hotel.

The property itself is very nice. In fact its pool is far more usable than it sister property on the coast - the JW Marriott. And the staff is wonderfully helpful. If you are coming to golf or fish, or just enjoy the pool, this is the place for you. And the setting is very beautiful. But if you are coming to enjoy the beach, this property doesn't offer near what the JW Marriott offers further north up the coast. For us, we come all the way for the beaches and local towns. And in that respect, this is not our first choice. On the positive, it is very much in reachable reach of San Jose, where the JW is much harder to get to.

Very friendly staff, nice location, very colonial, romantic. Only one Item I could have done without they have parfume in their AC system that gave me a splitting headache

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pool. Had a terrific time; boys enjoyed the kids club activities. Hotel staff was so friendly, helpful and personable.

The hotel people were very nice. The beach was disappointing but the pool area was great. I feel the music needs to be changed in the pool area. It was hard pounding music that should be more relaxing spa music or music like Enya. The food was average. The Swiss Travel office there was great. Daniel was very helpful in that dept. The tours were great especially, zip-lining and sea kayaking with Adrian. Also, Manuel Antonio was worth seeing. The beach there was incredible and so were the white-faced monkeys. Rita in the Marriott office was also wonderful. She made arrangements for us for dinner every night. Very sweet and very helpful. My husband loved the golf course and played 27 holes a day. Also, I recommend that there be should be music playing in the lobby on their piano. Easy Listening music would be nice. My husband said they should have pay per view on the TV in the rooms.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my 2 teenage kids. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a king bed I shared with my son and a pullout sofa for my daughter. 2 big tv's,2 bathrooms was a bonus, great shower and bath. balconies off both rooms. dinning table for 4 another bonus. Found room service to be reasonable in price, within other resorts of this quality, and the food was very good. Fantastic grounds, pools and service. Close to Jaco for surfing and restaurants with many price options as well as Auto Mercado for groceries.

Locals told me this is the best place to stay. Decor, staff, beauty, comfort and the quality of the food were all superb. Make sure to reserve an ocean view room to see the pool, gardens, ocean and marina. Super comfortable pillows too. Overall a wonderful stay. I recommend getting a package-deal that includes the meals as they are a bit pricey if you pay individually and separately. Truly an excellent place to stay. Also nice that tours will pick you up at the hotel. Great!

This is an excellent hotel, very luxurious wtih excellent leisure facilities such as a huge network of swimming pools, tennis courts, golf course, and amazing spa. The service in the hotel is brilliant, with staff very friendly and always willing to help with recommendations. Service is always with a smile! The hotel grounds are immaculate and the resort stretches over a wide area. Food and drinks in the restauarants / bars are a little bit pricey, but food is very fresh and tasty and there is a wide variety to choose from. (Prices on the menus are supplemented on the final bill by sales tax and a 10% service charge which really adds up). Wine is expensive in the hotel -in relation to the quality - upwards of £25 for a bottle of very average wine and around £45 for something drinkable.The hotel is 5 minute walk from a marina where there are also some restaurants. Our room had a fantastic view over the ocean which was well worth paying a little extra for. There is good air conditioning in the rooms which is greatly needed! I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Excelente el hotel y todos sus servicios. Totalmente recomendado

Las instalaciones del hotel y su personal son excelentes, lo malo es que no se puede disfrutar de la playa porque no es nada agradable, la arena oscura parecen rocas trituradas y además baja un arroyo que parece descarga de los inmuebles de alrededor. La comida es bastante buena, al igual que las bebidas y sobre todo el servicio. Si no buscas una playa, el campo de golf está en buenas condiciones; los jardines y la alberca son hermosos para disfrutarlos.

Bonito hotel para viajar en familia, viajé con una bebe y mi esposa embarazada. En la recepción fueron muy amables en asignarnos una habitación de fácil acceso, con comodidades para la beba. Bien parqueo, acceso a internet y la comida es excelente. Un poco cara pero vale su precio. Totalmente recomendado si viajas en familia. Lo único que no me gusto es la playa a la que hay acceso, poco aprovechable, pero lo compensa su excelente piscina

muy agradable, el hotel esta muy bien aunque los restaurantes del hotel son muy costosos por ejemp lo un desayuno para 2 adultos y 2 niños 110 $ me parece una exageracion !!!! Y el resturant nuevo latino tambien me parecio costoso cocina latina gourmet muy rica algo diferente pero costosa.Es preferible salir a comer en los restaurantes cercanos que son mucho mas accesibes.

El hotel esta realmente hermoso, con excelente servicio, todo el personal muy amable y servicial.....los lugares cercanos al hotel, no les encontré atractivos, pero no me afecto, pues en el hotel me la pase de maravillas.
