Hotel Lirico - روما

يقع الفندق على بُعد 5 دقائق من محطة قطار Termini، وهي مسافة قريبة بما فيه الكفاية لأخذها سيراً على الأقدام. وفي نفس الوقت بعيدة عن الضوضاء، والحي جيد. يتوافر في الفندق الكثير من وسائل الراحة، ولكني لم أذهب إلى روما من أجل وسائل الراحة. خدمة انترنت wifi، والإفطار يُقدم مجاني. وهذا أفضل من بعض الفنادق باهظة الأسعار. نعم، الغرفة صغيرة، والسرير صلب إلى حد ما. ولكن هذا نمط طبيعي في فنادق أوروبا. في الحقيقة السرير لم يكن سيء. طاقم العمل لطيف. الفندق يقع على مسافة يمكن أخذها سيراً على الأقدام من the Colosseum، وPantheon، ولكن مسافة أطول سيراً إلي Trevi Fountain، ولذلك من الاسهل أخذ المترو. بالتأكيد سوف أقيم في هذا الفندق مري أخرى. لا يمكن أن أطلب أفضل من ذلك.

أٌقمتُ أنا وزوجتي لمدة أسبوع في فندق Lirico.  غرفتنا كانت مُرضية جداً، نظيفة، سرير مريح، حجم غرفة النوم، والحمام جيد. وجبة الإفطار، وخدمة الانترنت جيدة (لم يكن الأمر كذلك في العديد من الفنادق الأخرى في روما، والتي تضيف ضريبة إضافية لكل منهما).  موقع الفندق مثالي، قريب جداً من محطة قطارات Termini، مما وفر لنا سهولة الوصول إلي مركز شبكة الموصلات في روما، وأيضاً على مسافة ليست بعيدة من Coliseum/Forum أو Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps (وهو موقع مُفضل لنا لتناول الطعام، والتسوق). طاقم العمل لطيف ومفيد للغاية (والجميع يتحدث الإنجليزية بشكل جيد جداً). وبخاصة Massimo، وتوني. توصيات جيدة للمطاعم المحلية، مع شيء قليلاً إضافياً يقدمها المطعم عند ذكر اسم توني. فندق Lirico، ليس منتجعاً يحتوي على أحواض سباحة، والعديد من المطاعم، والحانات، وطاقم عمل ضخم ينتظر إشاراتك، ولكنه فندق مُبهج، نظيف، مع طاقم عمل يجعلك تشعر كأنهم أصدقاء أكثر من مُجرد موظفين في فندق. كما يقدم فولكلور بشكل مثالي داخل الفندق، وهو أفضل مما يُمكن أن تجده بالخارج من وسائل الترفية. فندق Lirico، هو ما كنا نبحث عنه، بالتأكيد سوف نعود.

فندق Lirico، ليس فندقاً فاخراً ولكن قيمة جيدة. يقع في موقع مناسب من الأماكن السياحية الرئيسية، وعلى مسافة قصيرة سيراً على الأقدام من المحطة مما يجعل من السهولة الوصول والرجوع من وسائل الموصلات مثل الحافلات المطار، الحافلات، والمترو. طاقم الاستقبال مُفيد، وقد أشار لنا على الأماكن ومحطات الحافلات، على خريطة قدموها لنا. كما يوجد مطاعم، ومحلات تجارية قريبة. الحجرة نظيفة ومُبهجة. الحمام صغير جداً، والدُش ضعيف، ولكن يعمل، والماء ساخن. الدرج من الخارج فقط، وهذا قد يكون مشكلة بالنسبة للبعض. الإفطار مقبول ولكن ليس جيد، كان وافراً، وقد حصلتُ على الأسواء مقابل المزيد من المال. بصفة عامة إقامة جيدة، وأوصي به كقيمة جيدة في المدينة.

The hotel is nice overall but outdated as expected in most Rome hotels. there is a long stairway leading to the hotel reception desk that is on the second floor and the only small elevator is very outdated, so we used the emergency stairs to go down but has to use the elevator to go up. The breakfast is okay. The room is small but acceptable, but the shower is super tiny and the light in the shower is broken, so it was kinda dark when we shower. Nice people at the reception but the internet is quite slow. overall price to quality is about right.

The Hotel crew was awesome and very helpful. The hotel was good for the price, the only thing was the room is super small, we could barely walk around the bed. The location was good, maybe just a little far from main points, but not too bad of a walk.

about a 10 minute walk from the termini. Area seemed safe and we had no prolblems. about half hour walk to the spanish steps.

I was pretty happy with my stay here, other than the fact that I had to leave early and breakfast didn't start till 730AM. The other issue is that the first floor didn't seem to have a lift and the desk is on the second floor, so have fun with the luggage.

The hotel location was excellent,the people was nice and friendly,the only bad thing was that the TV didn't work, when I got to my room and try to watch tv and it didn't work I was too tired to call for help!

The hotel smells funny. It was not a pleasant smell. The hotel is located close to most of the tourist attractions and very close to public transit and the train station. The hotel could invest in some new pillows as ours were as hard as rocks. The shower was broken so it left water everywhere. When I asked about the WiFi they told me the information was in the room, there was no information so we had to ask again for login information. I probably would not stay here again. However, just a couple blocks away was a great restaurant and we enjoyed eating there.

Overall for the price it is a good value. It is close to the Termini and since we were traveling by train that was great. It is a little far from the areas we were visting such as the Colosseo, Trevi, Vaticanm etc. We did walk a lot so if you intend on seeing these areas and are not up to several miles a day walking you either need to take the bus, taxi, or stay at another place a little closer. The room was very small, the shower is the smallest I have ever used. Anyone larger than 210 will have problems. The neighborhood is not unsafe but not the nicest. And as others have said, no elevator to their lobby so you carry luggage up a flight of stairs or have the staff come get them. For us these were all minor inconeviences but we tend to go with the flow. If you are a little higher maintenance type this is not the place for you.

We stayed here three nights before our cruise left, and then two nights after. Both times the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Tony, at the front desk, was especially helpful, recommending a great restaurant down the road (Sprega) that was great, and pointing us in the right direction for changing money. Can't beat the location for transfers, we had no trouble walking with our rolling luggage to and from the train to get to the port and the airport. For our first transfer, airport to hotel, we asked Hotel Lirico to arrange a private transfer knowing we'd be tired from the trip, and the was reasonable (50 euro for 2) and went very smoothly. The location isn't bad for walking to the sights, either, but we also love to wander on foot. The first room we had, room 311, was a bit small, and the view was of the walls of an inside courtyard, so for the second stay (after the cruise) we requested a bigger room with a view, which they were able to accommodate. Room 312 did not disappoint, giving a great view of the opera house next door and overall being much bigger. Both rooms had a sofa and small table. They will charge you a small fee for the safe key, which seemed a bit silly, but it probably wanders off in forgetful travelers pockets quite a bit. The breakfast was great, a good selection of meats, hard-boiled eggs, granola, pastries, and made to order coffee or espresso!

Very helpful office staff; close to many must-see sights; close to train station, metro and bus stops; rooms are comfortable and clean, but small.

The bathroom and shower were small but I guess that is typical for Italy. I considered it a discount facility and I got what I paid for. I was not disappointed nor was I thrilled by the experience. Breakfast was decent. We enjoyed the cafe latte. The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly.

Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and the room. It could have been a little bigger, but it was ok. The shower was about 2 ft. x 2 ft. It's lucky that we are not overweight, because we just barely fit in it. Breakfast was good.

If your looking for location, price and clean this is the right hotel! It offered a good price (except for one night which was overly expensive being a 3 star. But it was very clean which I appreciated. My only observations are two things there are stairs toward the lobby which wasn't the best for my husbands knees and also the shower was like drop shower very little pressure but enogh to get cleaned. Pros: the breakfast was pretty decent and with wifi I think we got a good deal. hope this review helps out!

A small hotel, with really friendly and helpful staff, in a convenient location (just over 5 minutes walk to Termini Station). The bedroom was clean and comfortable, but very small. As a bed and breakfast it was fine, but not the facilities you might expect from a 3 star hotel.

No complaints. Warm and helping staff.

There were hairs on the bed sheets and blankets (house keepers didn't clean the rooms well), some of the bath equipments were already opened and used and not being changed to a new one, rooms are not comfortable because it's so very narrow. There is a long steps before you enter the hotel so it is definitely not for elderly or handicapped guests, elevators only takes two persons maximum (guided by receptionists), and our room telephone was not convenient: buttons of the digits were covered by a layer of plastic that was hard to be removed so we couldn't use the telephone. The staffs were friendly, and the area is convenient.

Good hotel. Fantastic location. Fair service. Rooms are relatively big (compared to EU standard). Internet worked really well, so we have no complaints. Would recommend the hotel

REASONS NOT TO STAY HERE: 1.- No elevator to the lobby, so, good luck with all your luggage as you have to climb stairs to get to the lobby and then some more to get to the elevator level. 2.- Internet works 20% of the time and it is super slow, when you call the lobby to report the problem, they claim it is your computer having a problem. 3.- Safe does not work, when you call the lobby they tell you that you have to pay 2 Euros to use it, come on! not for the two Euros but the inconvenience is just out of this world everywhere you look in this hotel. 4.- Very important one, be careful when you shower as the hot water comes and goes and when it comes back, it is very very hot, it burned my 4 year old daughter. 5.- The cleaning crew left our door opened after cleaning the room, when we came back to the hotel, the door was left opened and unlocked, nothing was stolen luckily. 6.- Uncomfortable bed. REASON TO STAY HERE: Fast check-out! although they do charge you 3 EURO per person per day, cash only, upon leaving, due some "city tax". Don't ask receipt for this as they will say that they don't have a working pen to write you one. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY, ENJOY YOUR STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY AND DON'T LET IT BE RUINED BY THESE GUYS.

Nice hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean, although a bit small. Very convenient for the train station - only a 5 minute walk. Walkable to many of Rome's top attractions - within a 20 minute walk of the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The Vatican is a bit further so we got the bus to that. Breakfast basic but fine.

The picture on the website is not that of the hotel! It is the building next door. So we had difficulty in finding the hotel. The hotel is extremely small and has a lot of unexpected stairs going to the reception. The room was extremely small and the shower was for children no more than 40kg as any other person more than 40kg cannot get out of the shower. The doors are too close together and it is hard to squeeze out. The room is very very very small. The breakfast was not what one would call a decent breakfast for the rate paid. Will not stay here again. The hotel charges for the safe deposit box within the room. You pay to protect yourself from their own staff. A lot of things did not make sense at this hotel. There are a lot of hotels in Rome, so you are better off staying anywhere else but not at this misleading hotel.

We stayed here in July 2012 for 3 days stay in Rome. Hotel is conveniently located near 2 major stations and bus stop to Vatican city. It is also just 10-15 minutes walk to the colossium. Only criticism is there were no lifts at the front entrance to the reception area.

Nothing fancy, but very quiet, great breakfast, great location, very clean and great service.

Hotels in Rome are ridiculously over priced. Given this reality, Hotel Lirico is a good deal. Our room was comfortable, reasonably sized and clean. The included internet service worked well and the breakfast was unspectacular but okay. The location, an easy walk from the main train station in Rome, also convenient to many major sites. I found it an easy walk to the Coliseum, Tivoli Fountain and other attractions in that area. If you wanted to, you could walk to the Vatican, but that would probably take 30 or 40 min. The negatives of this hotel include a long staircase to get in the front door (which is actually on the 2nd floor) and numerous other stairs. There are even stairs to get from the lobby to the elevator; so if stairs are a problem, skip Hotel Lirico. Other negatives included a shower for which I could not imagine any possible correct working configuration, even if it wasn’t broken (which ours was). It is hard to imagine the Romans, the fathers of plumbing, coming up with such a blockheaded arrangement, but there you have it. Was it possible to get clean? Yes, but a few screws and a different location and the entire thing would have been much much better. In addition, the water was tepid rather than hot when I took at least one morning shower. Over all, I’d happily stay at Hotel Lirico again, particularly having stayed at other hotels in the area. The irritations are relatively minor, the staff very helpful, the room acceptable and the location terrific.

For a price that was very reasonable the Hotel Lirico provided me a satisfactory experience. Let me try to outline the pros and cons of this solid choice. Pros: The hotel’s location was excellent: 8 min walk to Termini, 20-25 min to the Coliseum & Forum are 20-25 minutes, and maybe 30 to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. There are plenty of restaurants around and just a few minutes away is a terrific gelateria on Via Torino. Further, the free breakfast and wifi bear mentioning. The wifi was fast and reliable and the breakfast buffet, though unchanging, was solid. Hard-boiled eggs, cold cuts, cereal, pastries, cheeses, and juices were available every day. Cons: Though the walk up a flight of steps to the lobby didn’t bother me, it did get on my nerves that there was no way to walk up to my room. A tiny (4 people max) elevator is your only option, even if you’re on the second floor. Not a big deal, but nevertheless. Also irritating was the fact that our showerhead was broken and wouldn’t stay up. I had to hold it with one hand for every shower, and though I reported this to the front desk it didn’t get fixed. This says something about the service. Lastly, though the room was decent sized for a European *** hotel, there was a lack of storage space. As far as I could tell, there were no drawers. So don’t expect to unpack. All things considered, I am happy with my stay at the Lirico. Go in with the right expectations, and you will be too.

We loved Rome and visited so many sights of interest. We will go back again to revisit some places and find others. The Hotel is on the small side but cosy and the staff are very friendly. We slept well in a comfortable smallish room with no noise. Excellent choice. We would go back again to Lirico if the price is right and we reccomend it to others.

Very accomodating staff. We missed breakfast by an hour and they made sure we had something to eat. Very nice people. Also, helped me with luggage.

Daytime desk clerk Tony was of great help. Hotel was convenient to metro stop which helped greatly in seeing the city. Some decent restaurants also within a block of the restaurant and a gelato shop about 150 ft. from the front door. The stairs leading to the second floor reception desk will be a problem for guest who are mobility challenged. Overall a nice stay!

The hotel it's nice good location, the brekfast it's ok. You have to take to the second floor the lugage by stairs. The room its nice and comfortable the wifi it's the worst in the world. The bathroom it's small

First, my daugfhter and I arrived very late in the evening. We were very hungry, the desk clerk went out of his way to provide something for us to eat and drink, they only serve breakfast here. The room we had was large compared to other hotels we had stayed at., Very clean, bathroom was also larger than usual. The maid service was exceptional. We had wet clothes hanging all over the room due to Alitalia's incompetance leaving our luggage on the tarmac uncovered during torrential rains. Any way, she straightened our room, made the baeds and cleaned the bathroom very well. Their italian breakfasts were very nicely laid out, their coffeee bar was great. You do have to climb one long set of stairs to get to the hotel entrance on the second floor, you will get help if you ask. I would not hesitate tostay at this hotel again. By the way two sensational restaurants less than two minute walk away. One roof top to the left as you exit the hotel (VERY GOOD) and one outdoor/indoor restaurant to the left (Strega Restraurant) EXCELLENT. There is all a street side market 2 minutes walk from front door, little but nice.

Stayed here one night based on many glowing reviews. I had to depart early next day due to early flight, so I did not have a chance to review the breakfast. First of all, it is in a nice area near train station. I usually pick hotels in this area when I am in Rome for work, it is convinient and catching a plane is easy with Leornado Express. Note to travelers who is interested in staying here: pack light. The entrance stair was a killer for me, quite steep and there are additional stairs you need to climb from the reception till the elevator. Room is clean and actually spacious for Rome standard. The AC in my room did not work well, a bit hot even at night. Room is clean, the wi-fi has much room for improvement. It is one of the reason I picked this hotel, it was not very stable at all.

Nicely located, walking distance from landmarks. Like the breakfast buffet. The only thing that we had trouble with was the WiFi conection, It was fine wiith the laptop but wasn't strong enough for my cellphone.

Very nice hotel and good service staff.

The hotel location, cleanliness, comfortability and reception staff was all great. As others pointed out, the steps to the first floor reception make carrying luggage difficult, but this is typical of a number of hotels. The weak point was the breakfast. Every morning the croissants were burnt and hard and fresh ones had to be requested. The breakfast room staff were not pleasant. Overall, worth considering for a short stay.

Difficult to find the actual hotel at the first time. But the location is quite central - very close to main national road and must-see sights. Breakfast is nice. Space is a bit small so try to aviod rush time with too many people. Room is quite comfortable and quiet. Given the fact that most of the time people will enjoy going out, it shouldn't matter that the TV lication is quite high in the room. Lift is small and slow. For reasonable price in city center, would recommend to a friend.
