The bath room bit small ! But is OK for me .

Clean, nice staff, right next to train station, nice tube/shower, computer in room (free use). We'll stay again.

I'm sure 15 years ago the facility was top notch, but it is now outdated and somewhat worn. The 19th floor restaurants need a serious freshening up. Now with the Isetan and Lucua in the same station, they cannot compete. Yet, it still is a clean modest place to stay and the most convenient location you could ask for to get around the Kansai area.

Disappointed - I have requested non smoking room in my application, but room did not offer. Room old style. Carpet dirty and sticky. Suprised - I back from Kyoto and visited again. Room modern, comfortable and clean. Stuffs nice.

the hotel was quite easy to find, we took JR and we just exit from the south gate, it was barely 5 minutes walk. The hotel lobby was pretty nice but we find the hotel room was moderate. We stayed one-bed room and it was quite small. The condition of the room was ok, but not fantastic. All the basic necessities are provided though. It was conveniently located in umeda, where underground shopping and high rise malls are around that area. Overall it was ok. Travelling to other parts of osaka is definitely convenient. JR and subways are there which makes it easier if you want to explore namba, tennoji or dotomburi, etc.

We spent three nights in the Osaka Granvia and were very happy with our stay. It was really clean, modern and nice, with everything you need in a hotel, except a strong wifi connection. More on that later. Osaka station is very centrally located and easy to get to any destination you'd want to see while travelling in and around Osaka. We caught a baseball game in the Osaka Dome and it was only a 10 minute train ride. We were in Nara in less than an hour and Minoh in less than 30 minutes. As I said, great location. The only negative was the spotty wifi connection. We travelled with friends, and we both had the same issue in separate rooms, so it wasn't just our room. In order to get wifi, we had to stand right beside our room door and sign in (and work) from there. It was less than convenient, but then, when on vacation we should be out seeing the sites so it wasn't much of a problem. Just keep it in mind if working from the hotel. The Daimaru store connected to the hotel had plenty of restaurants, shops and snacks for all your needs. Check out the TokyuHands on 10F for affordable gifts and gadgets. You'll be glad you did.

the room is very spacious however the bed was very uncomfortable and hard despite other low paying hotels i've paid before.

The location is really great if you have plan for short day trip to Kyoto, Nara, Kobe etc. The surronding has more than enough shopping which there is no way we could finish exploring. Bed and pillow too hard for my liking. Overall, quite happy with the stay.

This hotel is in a great location. It's right next to the train station and adjacent to huge shopping malls and restaurants. Our hotel room was very small so be prepared to literally live out of your suitcase since there are no drawers to store your clothing. The closet is extremely small so don't expect to hang more than a few coats. Otherwise, the room was clean. Internet is complimentary which is always good.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, you can't get any more convenient. It's not the most modern hotel but it's very decent and comfortable to stay - absolutely no complain. Rooms are of very good size too. Also, traveling to and from Kansai Airport is really easy too with the airport shuttle terminal across the street, 5mins (max) walk from the hotel. Shopping malls nearby can easily consume 1~2 full days of the stay. Highly recommended hotel.

It's a nice hotel to stay, very convenience to travel around Osaka or to other place. Only setback is the hotel toilet makes me and my wife dizzy. You feel like the toilet is moving. I do not know why, maybe because of the compartment they used to construct the toilet (similar to the toilet in the aircraft)

as stated by most reviewers, this hotel is centrally located and very convenient. You can go anywhere from this point. although it is above the Osaka Station, it is quiet and you can't even hear any railway sound. staff are courteous and helpful. we booked for a semi-double bed (due to non-availability at time of booking) but when we checked-in, they found a bigger room for us and gave it to us without additional cost. They said "so my 80 year old Mom will be more comfortable '. that alone was great customer service.

I had the image of what was called a "station hotel" many years ago. Granvia Osaka was much much better than expected. quality of the food could be better but was not at all poor.

First time staying at the Hotel Granvia, and I will definitely stay there again. it is a great location, especially if you're coming into Osaka via the Shinkansen (changing at Shin-Osaka). With that being said, you can get practically anywhere in the Kansai region from Osaka station. Word of advice, it can still be difficult to locate if you're not familiar with Osaka Station. Just head in the direction of the Daimaru department store and the lobby will be directly across on the main floor.

This is a wonderful hotel and is located in a great place in Osaka. I would gladly recommend it to anyone and hope to stay there again in the near future!

Nice hotel pretty much within Osaka Station. If you are tired of lugging your belongings around after a long flight, this is the right place. Downtown Osaka has not too much to offer otherwise - but the location of the hotel is convenient if you need to travel.

We chose the hotel because of the convenience. We took the JR line from Kansai airport to Osaka station and we didn't have to pull our luggages too far. The amenities are great. I get to go supermarket - Hanshin and Daimaru and buy food. We travelled to Kyoto/Tokyo and all over quite easier. Hotel staff were nice and if you ask, they will guide you. The hotel room is kinda small but I guess that is quite expected of the main cities. One thing I didn't quite enjoy was the comfortness of the bed. It was kinda hard and probably some bed bugs. But it could also be because of the cold weather.

Everything was great about the hotel except for the extremely small room even by Japanese standards

At the center of many subway lines in northern Osaka and very convenient to nearby shopping centers and different types of restaurants.

Great location on top of the JR Osaka station. The station is currently going through a renovation (September 2010) so it seemed a bit more congested and initially hard to find helpful signs. But once you work out which exit (Central) you'll see signs to the hotel. According to Lonely Planet this is meant to be a top end hotel. I think they were referring to the section of the hotel thats been renovated. Our floor and room hadn't so it smelt like smoke even though it was non-smoking. Decent size though. However for location it's hard to beat. So if you're paying 'top end' rates then make sure you have a 'top end' room.

This hotel is so centrally located in Kansai area. You would have great access to Kyoto, Nara, Kobe etc. Plus all the shopping just steps off of the hotel. The hotel is amazingly quiet given the central location. Great access to Jr Osaka station (and bullet train) since the hotel is housed just above the station. Zen

This hotel was very nice and was in the Osaka Station (note it's not in the Shinkansen station, so if you come in by Shinkansen, you need to transfer to Osaka station). Hotel is a little pricey, but it's convenient. Station is huge so there are lots of train lines. Anything you could need is in train station, but it will take you a while to figure out where to go in station-it's a little confusing! Nice employees, beautiful hotel, rooms bigger than you would expect for a Japanese hotel.

I was on the 22nd floor with a great view down on the Osaka station. When you take the elevator to the lobby, you are one level below ground and can walk right into the station.

오사카 역과 직통 객실은 그저그런 비지니스 호텔이지만, 기차역과 호텔이 직결되어 있다. 춥고 비오는 날, 지쳐빠져 호텔로 돌아오는 날 역에 붙어 있는 호텔의 위치를 상상하라,

大阪駅周辺の再開発に伴って、常宿になりました。 部屋は広くはないですが、キレイに保たれているし、スタッフの対応もとても気持ち良く、この立地を考えると他のホテルより高くても予約してしまいます。 無線LANが使えるのもポイントが高いですね。 ただ、今回のお部屋に限っては、極端に電波状態が悪く使えませんでしたが。

very good. Location is perfect , easy access convenient etc and the rooms even small are comfortable and clean the only thing is the internet connection that is not always working

Room is very small even we have booked the double room instead of semi-double. Very difficult to find space to open our 2 luggage cases. Poorly furnished. The hair dryer emitted strong charring smell once switched on and I concerned much about its safety.

L'hôtel est facile à trouver dans la gare de Osaka. Nous n'avions pas pris la chambre de base mais une chambre double standard et avons été déçu par la superficie de la chambre (toute petite). D'aure part, nous avions un avion tard le soir (23 heures) et dans cet hôtel , il n'y a aucun endroit confortable pour s'installer en attente du vol. On est oligé d'aller au bar où les prix sont très élevés

GW中にツインの部屋に二人で宿泊。 部屋は、ビジネスホテルをややアップグレードした感じ。品川プリンスのタワーに似ているが、シャワーバスを少しアップグレードした感じ。 部屋の快適さというよりも、大阪駅にある立地条件が最大の強み。場所は申し分ない。

大阪駅側（北側）の部屋に宿泊したのですが、携帯電話の受信が不安定でした。ソフトバンクの受信は問題ないようですが、ドコモの携帯が不安定で途切れてしまいました。どの部屋でもそうなのでしょうか？大事な連絡がうまくいかず、大変困りました。
