good location, reasonable price, overall a good value

My girlfriend and I was very pleased with our stay at Dublin City Inn. It was a short walk to everything, the service was good and the cleaning. It is good for this price.

Great location. Within walking distance of everything we wanted or accessible to public transportation if you don't want to walk as much as we do. The room is tiny but cheap. It's a trade off. We preferred the low cost to a big room. But it's clean and the staff were all extremely nice and helpful. A real value in our opinion.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were very nice and accommodating. However, the room was quite small and very expensive for its small size.

Got off the train at Connolly station and the hotel was 2 min walk. Also right beside O'Connell street. Room was clean and staff friendly.

Clean, central, good price. Would stay again - and recommend.

The hotel is centraly located. Walking distance to everything. Temple Bar was just a 7 min walk, a grocery store across from the hotel, several restaurants around it. and of course the local pubs..Great place for the money.

I am very pleased with my stay in Dublin City Inn. During my transition from London to Dublin, I ended up extending my stay up to two weeks. The hotel it self is very comfortable, clean, and safe. It is in a central location very good for business or just tourism. I was very satisfied with the staff. They were very helpful with everything, and always very friendly.

Pros: good heat, most of the city is walkable from the hotel, really cheap price Cons: TV didn't work, bad water pressure, bad internet connection, street noise (think top 40 until 3AM from the casino across the street) Overall, the hotel was fine as a low-cost option, but don't expect too much.

Vert gentle hospitality and very close to almost all things to do in Dublin, like sightseeing, shopping and visit all the pubs. One thing missing was heat in the bathroom, we was freezing!! We sure will be back, both for the hotel and Dublin=)

Convenient location and incredible price! Rooms are small but great value for the $$. Carpets in room need a deep cleaning but overall rooms were very clean.

Great location just mins from the main shopping area and Temple Bar. Free car park and friendly staff.

This small hotel has a very big heart! I arrived very early in Dublin from NYC. I thought I would have to wait for hours with my bags, half asleep. The kindness of the Dublin City Inn staff was beyond anything I've ever experienced in any hotel. I was given a room right away. My eternal gratitude! Courteous, friendly, just what a traveler needs while alone in a foreign city!

great location, staff super helpful regarding parking, which is a bit tiny, but they always fitted me in day or night. room was small for 2 people,but you manage alright. i would recomend this hotel on location alone.plus we had great view of talbot street from our window.the internet with printer was very useful.

Quick walk to everything. Lots of great shopping nd restaurants very close. Wifi didn't work very well in room, but that's ok.

Perfect for a central Dublin overnighter on business.

Basic room. As expected. Good location. Room facing main street so was a little noisy. Wi Fi intermittent, otherwise good location and as advertised.

That is the only thing I would say for this hotel, is that it is very close to the main street, O' Connell Street. The room I was in was clean and warm, but very small and compact. Reception was friendly and informative. I thought it was expensive for it location and room size.

I statyed in this hotel at the weeken and could not fault it. The room was clen and tidy it was a bit on the small side but then again I didn't go to Dublin to stay in the room!!! Location was great Templebar and Grafton Street were about a 10 minute walk even in heels and O'Connell Street was about a 2 minute walk. I found that the service on Reception was great when we were getting ready to go out I discovered we forgot toothpaste and when I asked down in Reception if they had any they brought some straight to my room, When I come back to Dublin I will definately stay in this hotel again.

Absolutely fine for the price - this is no 5 * luxury accommodation. V.handy location, small room...overall ideal for a short stay.

It was in a great location, but the rooms are very small for the price. The service desk was friendly.

Lovely staff, nice quiet spot for centre of Dublin. Reasonable. Room a bit old but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Free WiFi in the room was a great advantage. Would stay again. Right beside General Register's Office so handy for genealogy research.

Hotel is close to Dublin Bus lines, it was very easy to find our hotel and close to many restaurants and other attractions. The hotel staff was very helpful with directiions and advice on events. The only downside was our room was facing the street and could be very loud at night.

it's quite nice budget hotel. excellent rate for the location. the room is compact but has everything you need. the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. my room has a electrical radiator so you can adjust the heating yourself. reception staff is nice as well. Tesco and a very good internet cafe (to the east) is near by open late evening. my room is facing the pedestrian street, it's generally quiet, there are some noise from the rubbish truck passing by occasionally, but you won't hear the traffic on O'Connell st. even its close. my only complain is the TV is small and only have 1 channel RTE1. it seems like be able to pick up some other channel but only audio. it must be due to the box they have is receiving MPEG4 and the TV is too old to support it.

We went as a family of 6 adults for my mums 60th birthday, and from check in to check out could not fault this hotel or the staff.The hotel is in a very central location although on a busy street with noise and a few undesirables hanging around this did not affect my stay as you would expect this in any city in the world. The staff were extremely welcoming, kind and polite the rooms although small were more than adequate, clean and had all the provisions you would expect and more. I would definetly reccomend this hotel and would have no hesitation in booking again which i intend to do in the summer . Again a great big thank you to the reception staff.

We stayed in a twin room but it was so small it should have been a single. There was barely room to put down our suitcases. The mirrors in the room were in bizarre positions so very difficult to use. The shower was barely more than a trickle. It was so noisy outside that sleeping was impossible. I would not recommend this hotel unless everywhere else is sold out!!

This is a no-frills hotel in the center of town with very nice, helpful staff. Our plane arrived in Dublin from SFO at 9:00, and we were exhausted, so we were thrilled that we were able to check in right away. We were also excited that we were "upgraded" to a suite thinking it would be a fancier room. No such thing as a fancy room at Days Inn Dublin but we did get 4 twin beds for 2 people, so it was more spacious and the desk attendant joked that we could bring back 2 friends from the pubs. We slept very well and were able to store our luggage at the hotel the next day while we went on the hop on hop off bus tour.

Only stayed for 1 night. Hotel is in an excellent location but our room overlooked Talbott street and it was extremely noisy in the morning with Bin men, delivery trucks ect. We had two single beds that were not the standard 3 foot wide but 2ft 6" which did not make for a comfortable nights sleep. Its a choice between excellent location or somewhere thats quieter.

The reception staff were terrific and really friendly. The hotel was pretty standard, but we didn't really expect anything more - it was reasonable for the price. The hotel is perfectly situated for buses/trains/something to eat and exploring the city. The room wase neat and there were adequate tea/coffee making facilities available, which was nice. The breakfast restaurant was bright and there was plenty to choose from food-wise. Initially on arrival we had to be moved to another room, as the shower didn't work. Unfortunately the 2nd rooms sink was blocked, so first impressions weren't very good. All in all though, we were happy with what we paid and the courtesy of the staff and I would therefore recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget or those who would like a central, clean and reasonably priced hotel.

Fußläufig 15 min. bis zur Temple Bar. Den Spire (ein riesiger Metallphallus) hat man 250 m von der Haustür. Dort fahren auch so ziemlich alle Buslinien an und ab. Neben dem Hotel ist ein Carrol's (größter Souvenirartikelladen mit etwa 10 Filialen in der Stadt), gegenüber ein Tesco Supermarkt und es gibt Restaurants, Bar's und Bäckereien. Man ist sehr zentral, jedoch nicht so zentral, dass die Betrunkenen Nacht für Nacht gröhlend vorm Fenster vorbeiziehen wie im Temple Bar Berzirk. Einkaufsmals, Kino und die Fußgängerzone sind einen Steinwurf weg. Selbst das Guinness Storehaus haben wir zu Fuß erreicht. Es sind dann aber schon wenige Kilometer. Die Zimmer sind klein, spartanisch besitzen jedoch das notwendigste. Es gab sogar einen Föhn. Im Bad existiert eine 110/220 Volt Steckdose. So war es möglich Handys ohne Adapter aufzuladen. Kurz vor unserer Ankunft wurde einiges neu gestrichen. Die Ausdünstungen der gewählten Farbe waren penetrant. Das Frühstück hatten wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Personal ist nett, hilfsbereit und sieht z. B. Kofferaufbewahrung vor dem Check-in und nach dem Check-out als selbstverständlich an. Es gab auch eine gute deutschsprachige Mitarbeiterin.

Suosittelen kaikille! Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta, viihtyisä ja ennen kaikkea keskeisellä paikalla Dublinissa lähellä kaikkia tärkeitä nähtävyyksiä. Katu, jossa hotelli sijaitsi, oli täynnä monenlaisia kahviloita, ravintoloita ja kauppoja. 5 min kävelymatka O'Connelin juna-asemalle josta pääsi mm. Howthiin (upea kalastajakylä ja vain 20min junamatkan päässä).

Bem simples, um pouco antigo, entretanto, muito bem localizado, bem no centro de Dublin.

Var ganske billig og helt kurant. Nye håndklær og lakener hver dag, rommene var helt ok og det var rent. Hyggelige folk i resepsjonen. Kunne gjerne tenkt meg og der igjen for en langhelg.
