Hotel Granvia Hiroshima - هيروشيما

It is the best hotel service I have ever had of more than 100 hotels in my adult travelling life. They were so kind, deferential, polite, friendly, courteous. I couldn't speak Japanese at all and was fumbling with a phrasebook, but they were so sweet and patient and spoke perfect English and gave excellent advice, directions and were always so attentive and fast! I had a question or needed something in my room (having travelled so light I skipped necessities) and they were there within minutes. The laptop rental was so cool and so cheap and I was so comfortable in amazingly affordable luxury, I didn't want to leave! Even after I left and my mother called from Australia, they were so kind and helpful towards her and I would absolutely recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again above all other hotels in the area. It is perfectly situated with JR, Shinkansen, inter-city bus routes and airport bus all on the doorstep with the streetcars just three minute walk away and local buses on the adjacent corner. It was really great and I am so thankful to all the staff for making my stay so pleasant. Hotel Granvia = SAIKO!

Beautiful room, easy access to train station, buses and shopping. The soaking tub was a welcome relief after a long day of site seeing. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

Very nice hotel next to JR train station. Staff was great. One desk clerk walked us about a block in the rain to show us how to get to the other side of the train station. Wow! nice ammenities in room.

The most convenient hotel in Hiroshima also features beautifully remodeled rooms. Simply lovely rooms. Located right next to the JR station. Overall excellent value.

I've stayed here several times now and been pleased every time. The rooms are very nice, the staff exceedingly nice, the Internet works well, and the location absolutely cannot be beat: you don't even have to leave the floor of the shinkansen gates to enter the hotel (especially nice if it's raining!). To make it all the better, it's usually priced quite affordably. If you like watching trains, ask for a room towards the end overlooking the JR main line tracks.

My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights (Nov '11) The hotel is in a great location next to JR Hiroshima station and the street-car depot with plenty of eating places in the vicinity. The room was clean and comfortable, with toiletries and LAN provided. The staff were helpful and happily stored our bags on our day of departure.

This hotel was absolutely the best during our 16 day stay in Japan. Reception was effective, friendly, helpful. On the day of our departure the stuff voluntarily guided us to Shinkansen gates - I am amazed with all what I experienced in this very hotel. I'll be coming back! I stronly recommend!

I stayed one night and thought the service was great. The staff were very helpful and as a native english speaker communication was fine. I had a single room and it was very clean and of a high standard. You trul do get what you pay for. Not for those who count their pennies but if like me you want to travel around this magnificent country and be comfortable doing it then look no further than the granvia!

Very convenient hotel location at the train station, especially good for those just staying for a night or two in Hiroshima. Beautiful lobby, but rooms are average rooms for Japan. Nothiing fancy. Free internet access was nice. Smaller than US hotel rooms and small bathroom. Good rate for the location. I would stay here again for the convenience.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is so convenient located, just next to shinkansen station, and the airport shuttle is just at the entrance of the hotel. And the hotel is close to all the must-see sights. If they can provide wi-fi service, it would be perfect.

The Granvia is a mid class hotel chain in Japan, good for short trips in which the Sheraton or Hyatt are unnecessary. The location is good transportation wise as its right above the central station (easy when arriving by Shinkazen as most will do probably). Besides that the area is no thrills, not many night spots around and mainly fast food the closes around 21:00 in the station. Regarding the hotel itself, I would say it’s ok but rather out dated look. The rooms are on the smallish sides (rather typical for Japan but clean and rather comfortable) The rooms feature free wired (no wifi) internet which was very fast and stable and good quality shampoo, conditioner etc. Something that annoyed me a bit is that we arrived 12:50 after a 4 hour Shinkanzen ride and where told to wait as our room is not ready (check in is 13:00), looking by the room we ended up getting at 13:00 it was cleaned last time latest 09:00, not the best service!  The view is rather nice from the high floors but from our 7th floor room is was not great. The corridor smelled AWFUL, I guessed BO but VERY old and musty. Breakfast was ok although nothing out of the ordinary, VERY expensive @ 44K Yen for 2 people. That’s Hilton / Hyatt prices. The hotel has no gym, pool or spa, which was rather disappointing. All in All its an ok hotel, rather on the expensive side Hiroshima. Probably will not stay there again.

Hotel is amazing for those who are using JR pass, right next to station and next to the main tram lines to take you throughout all the city. Staff could speak english clearly. Hotel was very clean, could use an update but still presentable. Hotel room a good size for Japan.

The choice of this hotel was perfect for our situation. Having travelled in from the UK, arriving Tokyo 9am and then travelling directly by shinkansen to Hiroshima we were in need of a good nights' sleep with easy access to the main sights in Hiroshima on the following day. All this was possible from the Granvia, it being easy walking from the main station to the hotel and from there to the local lines for travel to Miyajima and the Peace Park, returning to pick up our luggage for our onward journey to Fukuoka.The service was superb.

The hotel itself was clean and nicely appointed. The mattresses were a big disappointment . I wonder why the Japanese hotel industry would avoid its best which is those wonderful beds on the floor. No one makes a better comforter. The traditional bed is so much better than the current interpretation of the western style. I say be yourself. This hotel is adjoining to the train station making all travel around the city a little easier. Service in general is very attentive although compared to the other cities I visited, the front desk was short. The concierge was amazing. In fact everyone but the front desk were kind and helpful.

This hotel is right next to the Hiroshima train and street car stations, which makes it pretty convenient. The rooms are fairly good-sized and very clean and well-maintained. Internet access via the business center is superb with a system designed to accommodate a variety of languages and keyboard lay-out. You must pay 100 yen for 10 minutes of Internet access, which was worth it to me because it discouraged people from hogging the terminal by web surfing.

Comfortable hotel very convenient to train station and trams. Hotel staff very friendly and conceirge very helpful. Room on the small side but perfectly adequate for 1 night stay

The outside of the hotel and the lobby entrance looked very good, very modern. I was impressed with the clean condition of my room, including the bathroom. This is a good place to get a hot soak and have a rest when you need it. I had a nice view of the city from my room. The service at the hotel is very helpful to foreigners who don't speak much Japanese such as myself. The minibar prices and room service are a bit on the high side, but that's about the only small bad thing really. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. It is a convenient place for those wanting to visit the Peace Park.

I chose the hotel for the convience of being an extension of the station. It was so easy to get from the shinkansan to my room. As I have some mobility difficulties I was glad not to have to drag my bag too far. My room was small but very comfortable and the staff very helpful. A good supply of toiletries and a comfortable bed. I tried both the Japanese and steak house (with a lovely view over the city) and found both to be excellant. I also had room service the first night , and thought the curry I ordered was very good value I would definately recommend this hotel and would visit again if in the area.

excellent location and great hotel. small rooms but all rooms are small in japan. really clean, gwould definitley recommend if coming in on shinkansen going to miyajima and hiroshima

If you're unfamiliar with Japan in any way than this hotel is such a convenient option. Situated on the main Shinkansen lines and in close proximity to shopping malls and tourist attractions

Das Zimmer war etwas klein.

The hotel is very good. The setting is perfect for exploring Hiroshima as it is adjacent to the JR Hiroshima station. The room was fine. However, we asked for a twin room, but got a double. The beds are new and good but the downs are far too thick and warm to be comfortable even with the aircon at the lowest temperature.

繁華街のホテルにも滞在したことがありましたが 今回新幹線移動だったこともあり ホテルグランヴィア広島を選択しました。 こちらのシステムで早くに予約したことで 思っていたよりは安価で宿泊することができました。 ホテルも連休時期でほぼ満室という環境の中 グレードＵＰしたお部屋に転換してもらえたし 思った以上のサービスにも満足しました。 また、宿泊してみたいです。

Hotellet låg centralt vid tågstationen. All personal vi mötte var engelskspråkig.
