Tons of restaurants and bars outside the hotel! Room was nice enough, bathroom a little small but well worth the cost and a great value. Loved the Starbucks and Weber Grill inside the hotel and Nordstrom's across the street for shopping. Would definitely stay again.

4 star, yet lacks dining services

Very enjoyable stay, close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful with all of our questions. We would stay there again.

I love the hotel. Everything was great.I will be back again.

Great location for the price. Nice view from the room w no issues or complaints. Expensive valet but not much cheaper around town. Would repeat the trip again if needed.

From the initial greeting from Hans at the front desk to the awesome room, this hotel is perfect. Centrally located, so perfect to walk to the Magnificient Mile and just steps away from the subway station. Definitely, give the Weber Grill a try, perfect food there and awesome staff. Our biggest complaint at most hotels is at the bed is usually hard, but this bed was just perfect. Will definitely stay at this location and other Hilton's!

WE had only a short time to stay in Chicago and were easily able to see a variety of sites from this location. We enjoyed the exercise faciltiy and the neighboring Starbucks for a quick morning turnaround.

Great hotel. The staff is very friendly. Our room was large, the location very convenient and the price was amazing! I have nothing but good things to say.

The only thing is the pool/jacuzzi is so heavily chlorinated it's aerosolized and you cannot breathe in the vicinity...otherwise great hotel

My boyfriend and I went here for Valentines Day. It was perfect.

Great hotel in downtown Chicago! We were able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The fitness center and pool were a definite plus as well! The only downside was that the walls weren't very thick and we had extremely noisy neighbors who came back around 2a and seemed to have trouble getting into their room. Then at 5a another neighbor (maybe in the same party) came back and pounded on the room door and shouted obscenities for 15 minutes until he was let into the room. We called the hotel staff and they apologized and said that they were on it but it still happened. Needless to say, that night we didn't have the best sleep.

The hotel itself was nice but what was not nice was finding out they charged quite a bit for parking our car overnight!! My husband and I were trying to figure out where to go and not sure if we missed the sign or if it was not there (pretty sure it was not up when we got there), and with being downtown Chicago there are not may choices for parkinng so better warnings for their price for parking would be nice!!!

Great hotel, excellent location, wonderful staff. A steal of a deal! Plan your next stay here!!

We stayed on a Friday night due to a concert we were attending and we had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel was fantastic. There is so much to do within blocks of the hotel...dining, nightlife, shopping, etc. we were upgraded to a suite upon our arrival and this was a wonderful surprise. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and accommodating as well. The only negative was the $41 for parking - outragous!

Very close to the Chicago Theater, just a four block walk. Ate in the Weber Grill restraunt, very good and reasonable if you are looking for a light meal. Room was comfortable and the coffee maker most welcome in the morning.

Location is great, price is reasonable, and overall hotel is very clean and comfortable. The only negative I had was that the elevators are incredibly slow and I think the problem is there aren't enough of them to serve all the floors.

Nice beds and shower. City view room was a brick wall view with the Marriott sign above on the back side if the hotel which was not what I paid extra for. Would stay there again though. Literally 20 feet from the red line stop which is fantastic. Pool is very small. Free WiFi is a plus.

I came from an area in Ohio where you don't get views like I had out of my window. The thing I was most impressed with was how far the staff will go to help you. No question to big, and you never get that "im too busy to help you" attitude i have had at other hotels. I came during an ice storm in Ohio and snowstorm in Chicago, my nerves were put to rest before I even departed on my trip. The view was amazing, I don't think I have ever taken so many pictures out of a hotel room window. Now, I only was able to stay one night so I can't say anything about the pool, fitness center, breakfast or anything like that. But just judging from the staff and overall care of the hotel I think its safe to assume they were great. The hotel is in a FANTASTIC location. Starbucks, Jewel shopping literally right around the corner. Red line stop two seconds from the hotel, seriously. If you are coming from out of town, and taking public transportation I can promise you this is the best hotel just based on your needs, right downtown for shopping, sightseeing and fun. Right on the Red Line to get into neighborhoods of your choice! I cannot wait to move to Chicago in March, and know as a fact anytime I want to spend a night in the city THIS is the hotel I will choose!

The hotel staff was wonderfull. Very polite and helpful.

I selected this hotel for it's proximity to Navy Pier. My wife and I were invited to a suprise birthday party being held at a restaurant on the pier and decided to spend the night rather than drive home. The hotel was very clean and the staff treated us very well. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Picked this hotel because it was so close to mag mile. It was even better than I expected. The service was top notch and I really enjoyed using the workout room. The staff went above and beyond when my mother locked herself out of her suitcase the maintenance man showed up to cut the lock off for her. We were so relieved. The only complaint I have is that the pool and hot tub had so much chlorine in it my eyes burned! I'm glad it was clean, but wow! A little too much! Other than that loved it would stay again in a heartbeat! Oh and check-in and out was fabulous and very quick. The hotel was nice and clean, which is a big stickler for me!

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel has done several upgrades since our last visit. New key cards mean better security, softer, cozier bedding was like sleeping on a cloud, the service was impeccable (as always) and the newly completed train station right outside the front door made jumping on the train even more convenient. I will not be staying any place else when visiting Chicago. It just doesn't get any better for my money. Speaking, of money, the winter rates are fantastic and summer rates beat many comparable competitors. Well worth the money, whenever you visit!

Over the top as far as friendliness. The staff was very helpful with cabs, restaurants, directions etc. It was an overnight getaway with myself and my 10 year old daughter. We loved our room and our view.

Pillows in the room smelled old and like dirty hair, as such the whole room smelled. Fether pillows are nice, but only if they are clean. Yuk. Other than that, the place was fine.

This hotel was great. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful! It was a great location, it was clean, and modern! Will stay here again.

I've stayed in many hotels in Chicago, traveling there frequently on business. We chose this one because ot is proximity to the Red LIne (El) and Michigan Avenue. We were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the hotel was. There is a refrig and a microwave as well so we would definitely stay there again!

This hotel is close to everything. Nice grocery across the street for some pre game drinks, plenty of shopping on the mag mile, plenty of dining and nightlife options with restaurants and bars around. It was cold out, but we still managed to do everything without a taxi fare. Good thing because parking is astronomical. The only bad thing is the hot tub was emitting this steam that was making everyone cough. Avoid the pool room and you will be fine!

This was my first time to Chicago and I knew that I wanted to stay downtown near Michigan Ave. When I was checking prices the hotel appeared to be a good deal, had a great location and meet my needs. The hotel was very clean, updated, had nice onsite facilities and when my plans changed due to winter weather they were more than glad to change my reservations that I had made through Hotels.com and I even was able to book an extra day through the hotel for the same price. The area is safe and I walked to many places and they were very helpful on giving me directions to the train etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again when in Chicago.

I have stayed at some expensive hotels and I must say this was as pleasant a stay as any of those and a much better rate. The staff was great , always friendly and very helpful with cabs and resturant suggestions. Can't wait to stay here again. Especially thank you to Mike at the front door who helped with our luggage and getting our cabs.
