This time we had the nicest room yet with a king bed and a large couch for relaxing and watching TV. The breakfast is somewhat light for us so we usually supplement it with a little cheese and meat, then it's perfect. Nice location, close to the action on Duval St, but not in the middle of it.

We only spent one night. The room was large and newly decorated and clean. The bed was very high, especially if you are not too tall. The staff was very friendly and the location was ideal. The worst aspect was the breakfast. Not really worth having. The hotel is really quaint and I would recommend this hotel to friends.

From check in to check out, my friend and I were nothing short of pleased with the location, service and quality of our room. We were walking distance from Duval and other restaurants, the pool is well kept and the room was emaculate. We immediately regretted that we weren't staying longer but this is definitely our go to spot when we stay in the Keys!!!

It's a wonderful time in Key West. We had done a lot of sightseeing, the key lime inn is located at histrionic areas. We love it.

I found my cottage to be small but clean and confortable. I was able to park my vehicle and walk almost anywhere I wanted to go. I would definetly book this inn again.

We thought that the hotel was expensive. The room was a bit tatty round the edges, and noisy due to it being on the road, and with noisy aircon and fridges. Whilst we expected the breakfast to be simple, for the price of the room we expected it to be more varied and with better quality produce. On the plus side, the pool was nice and it was in a good location for accessing town. The service was good - we had an issue with the electricity supply to the room, which the staff fixed swiftly - but overall a slightly disappointing stay.

We really enjoyed out stay at Key Lime Inn. The room was clean, the bathroom was modern, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We really did not hear much of the traffic on the busy Truman Ave., partly because the air conditioner was running most of the night (which was fine by us!). The Inn is also just a couple of blocks from Duval St., very centrally located. The only minor negative was that it was a bit pricey for being far from the water, but we would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Fantastic location, lovely staff, clean and simple well maintained accommodation, great pool area and so close to all the action. Only let down was the breakfast. Very simple, not a lot of choice and when the toaster broke all you were left with were poor pastries and yoghurt. Would definitely stay again if the price was right and just head to duval street for brunch!

A very nice place. Close to center. Room comfortable, not large but correct and clean. Good and happy welcoming. Expensive like everything in Key West... Return there next time...

I really enjoyed our stay at the Key Lime Inn. My girlfriend had never been to Key West before, and she was extremely happy with the Inn. We had a cottage which was very clean and maintained. The breakfast bar was convenient and we enjoyed the pool everyday. Upon check in, the two girls working the desk were amazing! Very friendly and made us feel right at home. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The location was perfect, close to attractions, yet far enough away for peace and quiet. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning again. very nice had a good time

Breakfast was really just coffee, cereal and bagels. Frest local fruit would be a very nice addition. The staff was excellent and the location was great for walking to all the sights.

Our room was very clean and had all we needed for our over night stay. It is small and would hard to stay for a long while. The service was great and the location was close to the main street in Key West. Overall it was a very nice place and would go there again.

The Key Lime Inn is a good bet if you're looking for something that is walking distance to everything (both sides of the island). The inn has good character - conch houses in key west style - and was clean. The staff was always very friendly and eager to help me out with any of my questions. There were little things that could be done like new caulking around the shower, paint some trim, etc that would help the property feel newer. Major maintenance was fine (floors, furniture, exterior, etc. in good condition). Pool was very nice, though a little loud with traffic on Truman Street. Breakfast was utilitarian - maybe even a little sparse (coffee, bagels, yogurt, etc.). But enough to get your day started. Overall, I would stay again.

The Key Lime Inn is one of a group of historical hotels in the area. Accommodation is in chalet style units, not the traditional old style house I had hoped for. However, the room was stylish, clean and comfortable if noisy due to the location by their car park and construction style. A basic continental breakfast is available by the small pool. The location is good and within walking distance of the main Key West sites.

This is the second Historic Key West Inn I've stayed at in the past year and was again very satisfied. within walking distance to duval. Staff was super friendly.

We stayed in one of the rooms by the pool which was very cozy. The office staff were very nice and made us feel right at home.Since we were only a short walk from duval st. Where everything is happening it made it easier to get back if we had a couple to many. Nice place will go back.

The Key Lime Inn is one of the historic Inns in Key West. Historic, yet renovated. Everything was wonderful. The only minor thing that was a little off was that the sheets were not "fitted" and the mattress could stand some updating (it sunk in toward the center). But those are minor points.

Very clean remodeled room. Excellent bed. Nice coffee maker and fridge. Breakfast was very pleasant sitting around the pool. Convenient location to the downtown shops and restaurants. We parked our car and walked everywhere. Hotel staff were very friendly and willing to help out with any need.

Central location allowed easy walking to both ends of Duval Street, morning coffee and cont. breakfast outside around pool deck was very nice, made several new friends among the guests and the front desk people were friendly and knowledgeable.

I loved this place, I moved here from a motel that was across the island to be closer to everything and because the first place we stayed at was unsatisfactory. This place was cozy, the staff was personable, the continental breakfast satisfactory.. I could walk to anywhere I wanted to go in Key West, it was nice and clean and just what we needed. The continental breakfast was really good, but it could use some expansion to be honest, but overall it was a really great find! Loved the neighborhood, too!

the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. we showed up at the hotel at eleven am and were able to leave our bags and they called us during lunch our room was already avaliable at 12:30 and we got a room upgrade for no charge also booked our dinner reservations for us.

The hotel is soo cute and in a great neighbor - so easy to walk to Duval street. The pool was great and the breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. The bedroom was decorated very nice, but the bathroom was very dated and needs to be renovated. There was a mini fridge and a coffee maker in the room which was also nice. The only real problem with the room was the bed. The mattress was terrible soft and saggy! My husband and I both rolled to the center of the bed and neither of us got very good sleep. We both woke up with sore backs. If they got new mattresses, this place would almost be perfect.

We booked these rooms on short notice so we were happy to find something like this place because of it's convenient location. It was on a busy holiday weekend so we weren't shocked to pay a high rate for merely adequate accommodations, but we really didn't intend to spend any time in the room or the hotel.

After seeing all the local sights and being on the go both day and night, the Key Lime Inn was an oasis of relaxing and charming peace and quiet. It is within walking distance of Duval and the Hemingway House. It has a breakfast by the pool or a charming retro Denny's for a late breakfast three blocks away. We stayed at Christmas and went to Midnight Mass across the street at St. Mary, Star of the Sea. Too awesome! We had a small private patio with seating and a canopy of bright pink bougeanvilla. The bed was super comfy and the room was lovely and clean. The staff was wonderful, cheery, and helpful. Only one thing, the carpet could have been cleaner. But I give this place a 99% for ambiance, comfort, and location. Merry Christmas!

Had a great stay! The staff was very friendly the pool was nice and the rooms were a liitle small but perfect for two people. We only used the room to sleep anyway. Beds were very comfortable. We walked every where we went so we parked the car when we got there and didnt need it to get anywhere. If you have younger kids it might be a far walk to get to Mallory Square but you can drive a couple of blocks and park for free on a side road or pay to park to get closer. It's around $ 15.00 a day to park or you can use the meters for around $ 1.50 an hour.

Only downside was A.C. unit was extremely noisy and at the time of our visit due to humidity was required.

Great location, close to the bars and restaurants on Duval Street. But the hotel was nice and quiet with a nice pool area.

Went for a two night stay down to Key West with a friend for a "girls weekend" and completely enjoyed this adorable hotel. Very charming and "key west." Great location, two blocks from Duval at about the midpoint of the long strip. We had one of the little cottages (there are only three), which is a little more private and distinctive than the other rooms. Pool was not massive but there was plenty of lounge chairs and enough shade. The breakfast was very basic and we chose to eat out instead both mornings. The onsite parking is free and convenient, which is an added rare bonus for the keys. The bathroom was very tiny, but for two, it worked. My only major complaint is that the bed and pillows were by far the worst I've ever slept on...like rocks. Had it not been for pure exhaustion from the walking and swimming all day, we would have never fallen asleep. Overall, I really enjoyed this quaint hotel and would definately try it again, especially at their reasonable prices for being in a great location in Key West.

from the second we checked in everyone was so polite and nice. the cottage was well beyond the 2 stars that it was given. it was so cute and very very clean. well above our expectation, we would definietly stay there in the future. it is also only 2 blocks from duval which is good if you plan on drinking too much

The stay was nice. The employees were nice. Parking was horrible. The hotel was cute and went with the theme of Key West.

The place is gorgeous, very well maintained and clean. People are very polite. Everything went ok until 6 am. It was literally like sleeping in the parking lot. Every noise from the street, including the blessed bells from the church across the street make impossible for us to sleep beyond that point. A big bummer! If you have a normal sleep (without pills) and don't have hearing problems, make yourself a favor and AVOID this place. The breakfast without natural options was also a bad surprise. All the rest is 4 1/2 stars.

This is located on Truman ave a short distance from Duval street. Its a 20 minute walk the entire length of Duval to get to the waterfront area. We don't mind the walk and Duval is fun street to walk. If you stay closer to the marina and the cruise ship dock you will see a lot more foot traffic and crowds, possibly when you do not want to experience them. Restaurants line Duval street and there are some scattered about. Hotel has a nice pool and outside area for hanging out. Ice machines are available.

Great little self contained hut. Supper modern inside and very very clean. Outside it was pure rustic charm.

Great location and charming inn but parking space limited and street parking day-time not easy. Breakfast at the pool really nice. The superior - Q room was very clean and nicely decorated but still not worth the money as the one queen bed was uncomfortable and too small for two adults. No possibility to change to two beds despite vacancies. Definitely disappointed for that.

We booked our hotel through this website and were quoted at one price. When we went to check in they said that this website had made a mistake and told us we had to pay $20 extra per night. They had us by the short hairs as we had no recourse as we needed a place to stay. We even showed the hotel personnel the printed quote but they still would not honor the quoted price. I will definitely look for another place to stay when I return to Key West! And reconfirm the priced quoted from this website.
