Only down side was that wireless didn't work. Borrowed a cable off them but wouldn't have worked if I had only brought my iPad.

My stay here was very good. The room was a good size, comfortable and had all the amenities I would expect (free wifi, tv, room service etc). Although the self service checkin was not functioning when I arrived there was always someone at the desk and it only took a moment to check in. The hotel is well placed with Liverpool Street Station being a 10 minute walk away and Monument or Bank tube stations being only 5 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others

This hotel, while not the best quality for your money in my opinion, was a very suitable hotel and I would stay there again. It is a 10 minute walk from London Bridge and the train station there and is directly on a bus route that is convenient for travel. It is also a 5-7 minute walk from the Bank Station underground. The staff were not overly friendly but were courteous and helpful. There is a decent steakhouse and a large pub attached to the hotel with several other nice restaurants and pubs within a few minute's walk. I flew in and out of Gatwick and it was an easy trip to the hotel, granted, it took about 45 minutes via the Thames Link train and bus. A very central location in regards to the sights of London and overall a very good choice if looking for affordable and comfortable accommodations.

The hotel was very clean, very obviously a business hotel so lots of business features. It had free tea and coffee, free spring water. This was a very nice touch. Our room was a decent size, and the view out to the London skyline was very pretty. The area is very quiet on the weekends with most things including shops and supermarkets closed, also the restaurant had limited weekend service so it is wise to plan to eat and cater elsewhere. but all in all I cannot complain about this hotel at all, it was comfortable, pleasant and quiet.

Very clean hotel. Suited the purpose. It was a one night stay after attending a show in London. Could be more generous with pillows and a bottle or two of water and some savouries in the bedroom would be a good idea. Reception area rather smalll and uninspiring. Not a very exciting hotel but no complaints at all. It's good enough.

Spent just one weekend night between international flights, but found Club Quarters to be well-located. Just two blocks from the underground, and three blocks to the river between the Tower and London bridges. Made the online reservation for party of 3, but glad I phoned them afterward to make sure they set up a cot for my son; not sure it would have been ready if I hadn't. Room was small but well-appointed. Reasonable price. Clearly set up for business guests but worked for us.

The hotel makes use of automated check-in machines which worked brilliantly and we were quickly issued our key cards & room number. A member of staff was on hand if we needed their help. The room was fantastic and very spacious for the price we paid. A fridge, microwave & tea/coffee facilities were also in the room. Everything was clean & tidy. There was no noise from other rooms even though the hotel was busy. The location is superb for the tube. Monument station is about 1 minute down the road. There are a few shops nearby too and an amazing restaurant called 'The Folly' which I'd recommend to anyone!

I had a very negative experience at Club Quarters. During the night, I was awoken several times by reception who were ringing my room telephone enquiring; "is there a fire in your room?" Despite assuring them there was definitely no fire and that I had been sleeping for several hours, a member of staff proceeded to knock on my door and disturb further. I was awoken again the next morning when a member of the cleaning staff barged into the room. My misery was compounded at check-out when the lady at the desk claimed that the alarm was probably set off by a "hairdryer." All this despite a hairdryer never being used in the room during my stay...

The location was really good. Close to Liverpool Street Station and two other underground station so it was easy to get around in London. The room was small but clean. Clean bath room. Check-in and check-out was handled by machine and was fast.

5 minute walk from the tube, bang in the middle of the city. Room was modern and clean with nice bathroom. First time I've used a self check in system but was really easy and there's someone there to advise if you need. Can't comment on the bar, restaurant or other facilities as didn't use them. Will definitely be staying again.

The Club Quarters Gracechurch seems rather 3 than 4 stars by international standards as decor and interior in rooms are rather outdated and not contemporary anymore. Bathrooms are rather small and simple. Inhouse-soundproofing could be improved, however if you have a room not facing the street, you don't hear any noise from outside at all. Comfy beds though. Being a Londoner myself I think the location is great. Sure, being in the heart of the City the hotel's neighborhood is mostly offices. However, with the major tube lines being only a 5 minute walk away (bank and liv st.), you'll get to anywhere in Central London really quickly. All in all, the hotel is okay for a night or two, but there are better options nearby for a similar price.

A perfect place for a quick stop over.

Clean, comfortable and a no fuss hotel, brilliant stay and yards from Monument Station, would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Convenient for theatre district. Great room, quiet location. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is centrally located in the financial district, and thus oriented very much to the business traveller, with a well-equipped room and excellent high-speed wi-fi throughout the hotel. The proximity to public transport (Monument & Bank Tube and DLR stations) make it very convenient for getting around, and the friendly and helpful staff make it very pleasant when you return. Weekend stays present some challenges as most surrounding shops & restaurants are closed, requiring a longer walk (towards Liverpool Street station or into town) to find shops open). There is, however, a Sainsbury's Local just around the corner, which is very helpful.

Great hotel in the middle of London. Close to the tube (Bank). I always stay at Club Quarters when in London!

Other than the zillion road works going on in London and slap bang outside the hotel... Once you've negotiated the road closures and diversions you will not be disappointed with the friendliness of staff on hand and facilities available. We were travelling by car, which wasn't an issue at all... parked up.. checked in.. car park only a 10min walk if that... but will cost you £30 for an overnight stay.... but if you're driving in London you've got to expect to pay... Will use this hotel again.

We had a certain expectation on a 4 star hotel but this hotel did not meet our thoughts. The room was very small dark and warm. When you turned on the AC it made noise like a Boing 737. But on the other hand side you couldnt sleep anyway because the beds were stone hard and the pillows was probably made from stone. Good side was the front staff!!! Breakfast was twice as normal price. Just walk 5 min and you save lot of £ if you are a family. We didnt....... we ate in the dark cellar and paid rip of prices. cant recommend this hotel if you want to sleep..

Great location, within 5 minutes of the tube. Really clean and comfortable. Very helpful, attentive and courteous staff. From the moment of arrival, we were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much for the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely room, but a bit cramped for three people. To the hotel's credit, they showed us 3 more rooms, but they were all about the same size. The cot for the third person was not very comfortable. However, the lobby features a wonderful free espresso machine and each floor offers complementary chilled bottled water. It was a nice touch. The location in the financial district would be perfect during the week, although a little quiet on the weekend. The pub next door, Crosse Keys, was great value, fun and not too expensive.

The hotel may seem a little out of the way for tourists but it's actually a great location, especially for anyone who already knows London (but has yet to explore the east end, Southwark, etc). It's true that the immediate area is rather dead on weekends, but you'll find shops & cafes open around Liverpool St station, and there's a terrific Indian restaurant (open Saturdays, not sure about Sundays) around the corner from the hotel. Our room was modern, bright, clean, and perfectly quiet -- only quibble is that the bathroom did not have a proper door, and that un-proper door opened about 6 inches away from the side of the bed, meaning that you had better be sharing the room with someone from whom you have no secrets. Much appreciated: tea & coffee-making facilities in the lobby and a water cooler with bottles (rather than cups) on the landing of each floor.

Excellent hotel, very clean and in a great location.

My quest was to find a reasonably priced hotel close to central London that wasn't a complete pit. Club Quarters ticked all those boxes. Location, decor and cleanliness was all excellent, especially given the price. It's around 5mins walk from Bank tube station. The room was adequate for what we needed: a bed and bathroom for one night while we spent the weekend sightseeing. We were allowed to check-in early when we arrived, and they held our baggage when we checked out for no extra charge - very helpful for us. We didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't comment on that. My only niggle was that checking in and out was a little chaotic as the reception area is a little small and can be frustrating when it's busy. They did have automated check-in booths, but I just think they could give more thought to how it's laid out. But only a minor point. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a decent room for the night.

Staff were excellent very helpful Great idea help yourself (or the reception would help you) to free hot drinks or water. Rooms clean and comfortable. Close to the tube stations. Easy access to attractions.

This hotel is in a very central location only a couple of minutes walk to Monument tube station. At the weekend all the surrounding shops, bars and restaurants are closed as this is in the financial district. Staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and efficient. At the reduced weekend rate, this hotel is great value for a weekend in London

Club Quarters was my second hotel while in London. I wish I had picked it first. I arrived early and was able to check in before my schedule time. Very close to the tube station.

I was very impressed with how easy it was to stay there. I was not hassled by any staff and checked myself in and out; however, if you do like the personal touch there was always staff at hand for me to go to if there was anything I needed. I only stayed one night but I was very happy with my stay and would book this hotel again next time I go down to London for a visit.

The room was quiet & comfortable. I liked the little extras such as chilled water on each floor and access to free coffee in the reception area - a nice touch! It is close to two tube stations (Monument & Bank) so getting in and out of the centre is very easy. The breakfast at "Gauchos" was great and definately worth the money. There was lots of choice - fresh fruit, pastries, cereals etc I would definately stay here again!

A very welcoming reception in the business area of London so it was great to leave the rainey street for the comfort of the hotel. Good public transport nearby make it a useful base for getting about in central London. The staff were excellent.

This hotel is in the financial district area - so maybe not the best spot for sightseeing - however it is less than 10 min walk from 2 tube stops. With a pub next door, Starbucks at the bottom of the road and several restaurants close by. Our arrival at the hotel was very welcoming - the staff were very helpful - even to the extent of finding and delivering a bottle opener to our room when we realised we didn't buy a screw cap bottle!! We had one of the smaller rooms - however it was the perfect size for us, the bed was comfy, we had a kettle and tea/coffee, a spacious bathroom (which was spotless!) and a lovely shower. I would certainly stay at this hotel again. The only negative would be that because of it's location - many shops weren't open on weekends - with the businesses (as it's in financial district area) being closed guess there's not much demand.

More of a businessman's hotel this so you dont get big flashy lobbies but who needs them. Every time i have stayed here or any of the other Club Quarter Hotels i have been amazed at what you get for what you pay. Rooms are always spotless, checking is automated but you can have a person do it for you if you wish. 5 minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station and Underground plus all the buzz and delights of Spittlefields this hotel is also perfectly located. difficult to find any fault at all.

Stayed here as it is across the road from my office and very convenient. The room is a nice size, clean and comfortable but unfortunately I did not get a lot of sleep. The room is boiling hot and the aircon made so much noise it was easier to turn it off and sweat ! Also the walls are very thin so you can hear every word of the people speaking as they pass your room at 3am ! The bathroom is very basic and the towels are like sandpaper. I will be staying here again as it is so convenient, but next time I will be taking ear plugs and my own towels !

room given smelt dreadful, damp water in bathroom and turnip? in bedroom. To be fair we got moved straight away by very friendly staff member. Then toilet made a strange noise all night woke us up ! Little things like badly fitting curtains (which we had to hold together with a clip I had) and the shelf over the toilet which the 6 foot odd boyfriend kept hitting his head on made us think the Hotel not as good as we remembered, used to always stay here probably will try other places before we come back.

Another excellent stay. Nice room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
