Best location in the french quarter. Weekend too pricey, but weekdays - just right!

Your hotel is prime spot for walking the French Quarter!!! Just wish your rates weren't so high. We have stayed at your hotel probably 6 times so far...

Excellent location. Could have used another chair in room. Two people in room with only a desk and chair.

We were very impressed with the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was immaculate and the rooms spacious and clean. The hotel is located in the French Quarter just off Bourbon Street so was close to everything but was not noisy at all. Loved it and would definitely stay again!

Close to all the hot spots Bourbon & Jackson Square area easily accessible. Room was a tad small but it was very nice.

The hotel staff was amazing, especially the front desk and gentlemen working the front door. Every time we left we were wished a good day, and every time we returned we were greeted with a "welcome back." The only disappointment was the attached restaurant and bar, both of which were eerily empty most of the time, despite the bar being located right on Bourbon Street.

Bourbon Orleans is the perfect location to the party scene as well as the relaxed, laid back scene. The pool was a huge plus because it was private, well kept, and plenty of lounging room. It's SUPER close to the French Market area, the Steamboat rides, the JAX Brewery, the Cathedral, and of course, Bourbon Street. The staff is awesome, the hotel is beautiful and the history of this hotel is fun to learn about too. I've stayed at the Monteleone before but I believe I prefer this hotel....it really made our 3 nights a wonderful experience!

The hotel was in a good location. It was close to restaurants and shops and our room was very clean. The hotel staff was friendly.

We live about an hour away, but love coming to this hotel to unwind and relax. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is very friendly.

This was our third year in a row to stay at this hotel. Love this hotel! We will be staying there again next year when we go back for our annual trip to New Orleans.

The hotel was very nice.The week that we stayed there was rainy.My only complaint was no weather channel to help plan our days.

Gio at the front desk was very personable and even booked our dinner reservations when we inquired about a local restaurant. The lobby is a nice place to hang with a drink, which we were treated to with a two-drink coupon they hand you on arrival. Very nice place.

We loved the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, everything about it. It's elegant, charming, comfortable, and perfectly located within the French Quarter. The staff was extraordinary. We would definitely stay there again on future visits to New Orleans.

Good competitively priced hotel - handy for a short spell in New Orleans

I especially liked the gorgeous and relaxing salt water pool. Being at the hotel, so aesthetically pleasing, was like visiting another era.

Located in the heart of the French Quarter so convenient to the attractions and transportation. The Hotel staff was helpful but there was no Concierge service which meant you were on your own to decide what to do. And there is LOTS to do and see in the area. Just to sit in a cafe having coffee and pastry and watching the street is relaxing and enjoyable. The 'glitz and glamor' of the French Quarter and the debauchery of Bourbon Street distracts from the rich cultural and historical presence and importance of the area. Make sure you get a walking tour of the Quarter from a qualified docent and get into some of the historical locales open for visitation otherwise you will miss most of the significant attractions. Yes. There is still some jazz in the Quarter but needs more! Never enough street musicians! (Thought it a 'bit tacky' to have a computerized piano running in a hotel where live musicians abound in the City and need opportunity to make music.) Beautiful colors, always great weather even when it rains!

Excellent place, I could enjoy my quiet room, and focus on work, but I was just a few steps away from the center of it all!! close to great restaurants, bars, music, excellent location. The view from all rooms is great too. I really enjoyed this stay.

We were having a great time until we were rudely woken up at 3am by a lady staying across the hall. She was screaming and shouting. We called the desk and complained after about 5 mins. It took the security guard and a police man over an hour to toss her out. The whole time they were talking loudly in the hallway and keeping us awake. The next morning, we informed the hotel staff of what had happened and they claimed ignorance. The manager said he would call us later that day. It's been a week with no call. When we got home, we realized that we had left a painting in our room. We called and gave them our information and they said they would check and call us right back. They never did. We basically paid $200 to not get any sleep and none of their managers care.

We stayed three nights. Rooms a little small. If your lookin for convenience at a nice hotel by the french quarter Book this. Highly recommend it. Everything is literally a few steps away. I would not recommend if your driving in the city or a long stay.

The room was very uncomfortable. When all the lights were out the room was just as bright as if the lights were on due to the broken shades and exterior lighting of the facility. The bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable, old in nature. Limited seating available in room. One computer chair that was not functioning properly and one straight back chair. Limited electrical outlets for charging of personal devices. Also limited electrical outlets around the computer desk. We had to move it away from the wall to access a plug.

Really liked the fresh Iced Tea and Lemonade in the lobby, nice touch.

Although our trip was short, we had a wonderful time and the hotel was great! Excellent location and the staff was exceptional! Highly recommended!!

The staff was friendly and helpful at the door and the desk. We arrived in the morning after a cruise so our room was not ready yet. Caleb took our bags to be stored while we went out exploring. The front desk clerk called my cell phone to let me know when the room was read. After we checked in a bellman brought our bags up to our room. The location is ideally located on Bourbon street near Jackson Square and the French Market. Our room overlooked Bourbon and though the window did not open, it was well sound proofed so we were not disturbed by noise below at all but could watch the activity. Free wi-fi is a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is right in the heart of it. It sits right between Jackson Square and Bourbon Street. We valleted our car and did not see it again till we left town. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. But my only complaint is the cost to vallet the car considering there is no parking near the hotel. It was $34 dollars per day pulse 12% tax. I was a little shocked.

Overall great stay. Room was a little small.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very small and we had a view of a concrete wall. However, we kept our room because those on Bourbon Street rooms complained of it being too loud to sleep. We had no problem sleeping where we were. Despite that, we couldn't ask for a closer to all the sights hotel. The service was excellent. We stayed a few nights and the woman who checked me in always greeted me by name whenever I had a question. Concierge was very helpful as we planned out our limited time activities.

I can't imagine staying anywhere else that is better located in the french quarter. You are a quick walk to everywhere! Bed is very comfortable. The room is super small but who is spending a bunch of time in their room in New Orleans anyway? The room we were in was a LONG haul from the elevator so going up to the room to grab something took quite a while. That was annoying at times. The bar is really chill as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, historic hotel in an incredible area. The only cons being the early morning construction, and no fridge in the room. Fantastic staff. Would come back when not under construction.

If your looking for a place to crash near Bourbon street then this is a good place. If you like being waken every morning at 530 when the hotle staff arrives then this is also great. The hotel staff would talk in the hallways without regard for the Hotle guest. I'm a heavy sleeper i was managed to be awoken each and every morning by the hotle staff. Wonderful when I wnet to bed after midnight. Room service leaves a lot to be desired. Condiments are not included with your meal. When you call to get room service to ask about the condiments, if they answer the phone they will arrive after you have completed your meal. If you wait on them to arrive, of couse you meal is now cold. Can't win. I could have walked to the store and bought salt, pepper, ketchup, whatever in the time it took for them to arrive after the meal was brought to the room. If you mention it to the front desk you are looked upon as a complainer and get the prefuctory, "I'm sorry." I would not stay at this hotel again. Rooms are very small and the cleaning of the room each day leaves a lot to be desired. Be prepared to spend an extra $35.00 per night to park you car on top of the room bill. Valet service will take close to 30 minutes to retireve your car, so plan ahead.

Hotel is in a central location in the heart of the French Quarter. Great customer service, only drawback some of the maids didn't do a thorough job. But all else was great!

I loved the Bourbon Orleans hotel. The only problems I had with it was my room was quite small, and my room was so far from the main elevator I had to use the service elevator. I would stay here again though; it was gorgeous, has lovely history, and is very conveniently located between Bourbon and Royal.

Second time to stay at this particular Hotel and the second time our room was not cleaned during our stay. No big deal just a service we paid for and didn't receive. Otherwise it is a great place to stay right in the heart of the French Quarter.
