Best Western Plus Tuscan Inn at Fisherman's Wharf - سان فرانسيسكو

One night stay - only one thing would have made my stay better and that would have been having an option of running the fan run constantly on the heating/ cooling unit, so as to drown out the street noise (being in an outside room) and 2am foot traffic in room above at night while sleeping. Other than that, everything was very adequate, directions, airport shuttle set-up, check-in, room cleanliness and comfort. Thanks Tuscan Inn for courteous staff too.

Small room and small bathroom for the price but clean and comfy. Super close to the local attractions, which are much like a Disneyland adventure, without Mickey and Minnie but street performers instead, and a $7 cab ride to China Town. I would stay again.

We enjoyed the hotel since it was very close to all our vacation destinations. Also we felt very safe in the surrounding area to be walking around in the evening. Unfortunately, I must say the concierge was not the friendliest; but definitely knowledgeable. Also, smokers corner needs to be changed. Each time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with that horrific smell from the smokers hanging out just outside the front door. That was not pleasant at ALL! Other than that, it was great!

When we arrived on Friday April 13, the lobby was covered with drop cloths. We were like "oh no". The receptionist said it would all be back to normal in the morning. She was right. The next morning, the lobby was beautiful. Overall, we had a great stay. The complimentary wine hour every day is a very nice touch. We met a lot of nice people from all over the world.

Great! The staff is so friendly and helpful. We didn't think that our room was too small. It was very nice. Quiet, too.

Not advised by Hotels.com that a Reception refurb was happening. This is not fault of hotel, but a poor sell by hotels.com. Room had to wait 15 mins for hot water, our room on the ground floor onto the street conveniently had the window left unsecured, which is a common trick in the US, be careful on this. Location good for the Piers and hospitality of the hotel manager at wine reception is excellent. JPH

I think since the hotel is undergoing renovations, it makes it look dumpy. You have to walk through stairwells and by plastic wall coverings and listen to loud jack hammers all day long. I also feel $44 a day for parking is insane. Also, I feel there should be a free breakfast, I mean afterall, this is a Best Western. The staff was VERY friendly, but the wait to check-in to the hotel took over 30 min..not fun when you have been flying all day and just want to get into your room to rest.

Great hotel & Staff. The only issue is that the first floor was under major renovations.

Hotel Lobby was under construction, but staff was outstanding.

Hotel met my expectations. Convenient location, clean, non-smoking room. Friendly front office staff. Internet access provided at no extra charge. I would have liked a kettle and some tea bags in the room.

Great hotel! Convenient to Fisherman's Wharf and other attractions!

Although the lobby and reception area were under construction (the reason for the 3 rating on condition of the hotel), the reception staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. They arranged for a late check out and parking so that we could spend the day sightseeing. The rooms were quiet (no view but who needs a view when you are sleeping?). Priced about right for SF. Tip: You don't need a car in SF because public transportation is good. Parking is astronomical. Do yourself a favor and don't drive in SF.

Had a chance to stay at the Tuscan Inn last week. I have to say it was one of the noisiest Hotels I have stayed at in recent memory. I expect a little city noise when staying in a big city, but the outside rooms facing the street were quite bad. If you have the opportunity to stay here, request one of the inside rooms facing the courtyard. They are also undergoing some renovations, so half of the floor we stayed on had construction noise from the workers during the day. The location is good with easy access to public transportation and the staff were helpful when needed.

My daughter and I stayed at the BW Tuscan for two nights. It was a GREAT value! Our room was updated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Wireless is free, but you do have to pay $12 to workout down the street. Parking was $50 per day, so keep that in mind. But the location was great! We were only in our room at night - I would stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fisherman's Wharf location. The hotel was undergoing renovations, which did not effect the comfort of our stay. The staff at Best Western made our stay; the staff including the wine servers at the complimentary wine hour went out of their way. I brought of "to do's" to the concierge who helped plan days of travel and shopping. The beds and bedding are comfortable. The rooms are small, but the layout makes sense. Our room was dark and quiet at night, which was important after visiting all of the sights throughout the day. As for the location it is easy to hop on the cable cars or the bus. One can also take a ferry or a bus to the Bart. The hotel has tea and coffee in the morning also Starbucks was around the block and there is a large sourdough bakery for breakfast sandwiches by the Pier. At night we hopped on the cable cars to Union Square to get a drink and listen to great music.

Overall it was a good size room for San Fran, the price was too high for the offer, usually this type of room should cost $90-100 no more than that. They were in construction and I did not know, the people at the front desk were not necesarily very helpful but I was able to manage by myself. There were minimal supplies in the room, no spoon to steer the coffee or tea. They offered daily wine tasting that was nice. The beds were very uncomfortable. Overall I liked the room was clean. I would probably not choose to stay there if I had other options.

This is a pleasant hotel with large rooms and fast internet. It is rather big, so if you can't walk far, be sure to ask for a room near the elevator. I was taking a cruise from San Francisco, and this hotel was just about the closest to the ship dock, which was about five blocks. The hotel is near the touristy wharf section, so it is easy to find food to eat. There is also an Italian restaurant in the hotel but i didn't eat there. Transportation is good here; also you can walk a couple of blocks to the end of the cable car line that goes to midtown.

My room was nice, big and clean. However the hotel is under going major renovation and none of the websites noted that. It was a little unsettling walking in to such chaos, bit once I got in to my room, I was pleasantly suprised.

We stayed for two nights over President's Day weekend. The location was excellent - easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square as well as easy access to the cable cars and street cars. The wine reception was a nice touch; we happened to sit next to another couple on vacation and really enjoyed chatting with them over a couple of glasses of good wine.

This hotel was great! It is right in the heart of the Fisherman's Wharf - very accessible to the fun stuff! The rooms are being remodeled, and they just feel very open and airy and lovely. I felt GREAT being here! I LOVED it. They have a cute happy hour with Charles Shaw wines. Fun, tho from 5 - 6pm. No pool, no continental breakast. There is a nice coffee service in the am. The hotel is located across the street from a big grocery store (Safeway), which is convenient. Parking is pricey. YOU CAN PARK FOR FREE IN SAN FRANCISCO on the street if you have a disability placard. If someone in your party has one, bring it with you on your trip. Just mind the street cleaning signs or you will get towed.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was small but It was very clean, the staff was helpful and it is a very convenient location, close to everything. I would recommend to it others.

Hotel should not charge for valet Parking,

Great place to stay! I have stayed here several times. I have also stayed at several of the neighboring hotels. Close to pier 39 and fishermans wharf. Trolley is near by to take a ride to union square or China town. Dog friendly, they even have milk bones for your dog. The restaurant , Pescatores is very good better than most of the places to eat at the wharf. The only downside is the rooms are a bit smaller than the neighboring hotels.

Good location, I had no closet in the room to dispose the clothes. And what always iritates me in some hotels - there is no bright light in the room so in dark you rely only on very dim light. The illumination is really poor.

We where very happy with service, location,rooms. I'm going to tell all my family and friends how great it was. But, try and find other parking because it was very very high. Hotel was great.

We took the Amtrak train to SF from Sacto. The Amtrak bus left us off two blocks from the Best Western hotel. We took a tour of SF on the hop-on hop off bus, and fortunately, the bus was able to droff us off right in front of the hotel. How convenient is that! At the evening wine tasting we sampled some very nice wines, then walked to Pier 39 for dinner. Thanks Best Western for a wonderful experience!

The location was perfect to walk to the wharf and surrounding areas. Very friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Complimentary wine and appetizer hour from 5-6pm which was a nice bonus for the guests. A bit of construction in the lobby area, but never heard noise because of it. Clean but small rooms, perfect for me and my husband. Overall good stay, would definitely come back.

Felt like a 4 star hotel. Spotless rooms, that were very comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff were very friendly too. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The people at this hotel real nice and helpful, the room was beautiful and the wine reception was a nice touch. They let us keep the car in their garage until 3:00PM after checkout which is is plus in this area of San Francisco where parking is so expensive

This hotel was very nice to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was not so big, but clean and updated. Definetely a place to go back. ^_^

Very nice hotel and very good location also. Walk to all wharf restaurants and bars, very nicely appointed, nice detail of wine reception every afternoon...although it being in California wine should be a little better! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!
