Red Lion Hotel Bellevue - بيليفو

Great hotel for the price.

My one and only complaint would be the doors.....in order to actually shut your room door you had to slam it! We heard this all night and it was annoying, especially with a toddler trying to sleep. Nice hotel and if we ever make it back to the Seattle area we'll probably stay here again. Super clean, friendly staff (except the check out lady with a accent who never smiled or looked at you directly and pretty much brushed off your questions). Be aware of the 40$ charge they hold on your card that takes 4 days to get off your account.

Good: Bed wasn't uncomfortable, nice TV, fridge and microwave in room, good sized room. Not so good: Mold on bathroom ceiling and tiles in shower, wallpaper peeling in bathroom, very cheap toiletries, noisy. For a Northwest chain I was very disappointed that they haven't put much effort into updating this location. You can expect to pay top dollar in Bellevue, I think you should be able to expect top quality as well.

Just plain satisfied

I have stayed in a lot of hotel with all the traveling I do and this was the best hotel ever!!! It waslike being in a luxury hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable andit was not to far from Seattle. I would tell anyone if you are going that way stay at the Red Lion in Bellevue.

We were a little hesitant from looking at the outside but the inside was very decent - in fact - much nicer than the outside. We didn't have neighbors but I think if we had, we would have heard a lot more. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of hot water in the shower.

This was an excellent hotel and I would definitely stay again

No elevators! If that isn't a problem for you, then the staff is great to work with, the beds are excellent, the bathroom light good, and the breakfast good. The place is a little tired, but we would stay again.....if we were on the first floor.

The bathroom is rather small, but otherwise the room is fine.

in the end our stay with Red Lion was fairly good. Initially we were provided a room that was obviously smoked in by a prior guest - and then overly perfumed by the cleaning staff to try and mask the smell. We were given a different room which was clean and had no odor...which was good, but a bit of a pain. The room should have been properly cleaned before issueing the room to anyone, and I shouldn't have had to ask for another room in the first place - it was not a quick change out process either, as the hotel was staffed by a single individual and many people were there checking out. The furniture was excellent for a hotel of this class, but the carpet was old and needed replacement. The outside doors and hallways were in need of a much needed remodel. Other than these complaints, the place was actually very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was a bit creeped out by some of the clientele at the hotel, but they were only there because it was the least expensive option in the immediate area - which is why I was there as well.

Basically everything was very nice. There was a hallway alarm that was beeping for the whole 4 days. It was away from our room, so we only heard it when walking to the restaurant. Also room service came real late in the day. We’d leave at 9am return at 5pm and twice room service came after 5pm. Other than that it was nice. The food was great!

hotel provides complimentary shuttle to overcome the inconvenience of the hotel location. There is a great place next door (Jonah's) for a buffet breakfast and a nice lobby to meet with others before heading out. The breakfast was very tasty! There is also a Mexican restaurant within walking distance by I always took the shuttle downtown and had dinner there. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were quick to respond to any requests made. The room smelled great and was clean - especially the bathroom.

Unlike surrounding hotels which are high rise building, this one stands out like a self service apartment. Once you check-in, pretty much you are on your own, you do not need any assistance in anything. Free Wi-fi and complimentary shuttle service to downtown Bellevue is a BIG plus of this hotel. Got good rate with Hotel.com, so all in all a happy deal.

I stay here often always ask to stay in the main building. Staff are a great bunch the restaurant has decent food at an afordable price.

Our power went out in Seattle so, after a day in the dark we booked a room at the red lion for one night as we weren't sure how long the power would be out. We ended up staying 3 nites total and they honored the rate they gave me the 1st night although the rate was higher online! They have a house car to drive you within 3 miles of the hotel (tip the driver) still cheaper than a cab. The restaurant Jonah's was very good for dinner. I had the same chicken sandwich 2 nites in a row it was that good. Overall good hotel for the price!

Could not make it to hotel due to pending bad weather. Called to cancel 1 night stay 2 days prior to date but with Red Lion they penalize you 1 day for cancellations. Will not ever book a Red Lion property again under any circumstances and would recommend that Hotels.com not offer stays at chains with this policy.

It was a very nice neighborhood and the cafe had outstanding food, but not having a free breakfast like back in idaho, made it financially hard.

This is a business hotel so it is very near freeway. Ask for a room on the backside of hotel. Still near roads but is much quieter. Carpet could be updated, beds super comfortable, efficient but very small bathroom, no separate sink/dressing area. Tough when many are getting ready to go out. We were there for a site seeing tour of the area. Bellevue is a fantastic city to do just that. Very modern metropolitan as it is a city dominated by internet companies. From chain to unique restaurants so all will be happy. Young families to older and young hip couples will enjoy this city. You are also 20 min out of super cool Seattle and the original Starbucks. But I say stay in Bellevue : )

Room was clean and very comfortable. Easy access to the Bellevue shopping area. I thought the rates were very reasonable given the proximity to the expensive downtown Bellevue area.

VERY NICE HOTEL, ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH

This Hotel property is a good value with a convenient East side location. I was very unhappy with their attempt to charge my credit card $40.00 upon Check-in. They claimed it would be refunded in " 2 to 3 days " after check-out. I understand the need to have an imprint of the card for incedentials but NOT to actually charge the card.

This is a great hotel in a convenient location. This was not my first stay and will not be my last.

I had always wanted to stay at a Red Lion Hotel, Wasn't quite what it was all cracked up to be. However I still had a decent experience...

I enjoyed my stay at the red lion hotel of Bellevue. My room was comfortable and clean, the location is so close to Bellevue Square it's nice.

The Red Lion was located in downtown Bellevue, WA., convenient to freeway ramps. The room was nicely appointed and clean, however the flip safety lock was ripped out of thedoor jam and missing. There were also a couple trash cans sitting out in the hallway waiting to be emptied. Aside from these small issues, our stay was pleasant. The king bed was very comfortable.

First time ever we've been to Belluvue, we were greeted by friendly staff who were willing and helpful in providing all the answers to our questions. The rate for a room with a king-sized bed was something we couldn't find in Canada.

....and it's very convenient. The one thing negative I can say is the scent that they spray into the hallways is too strong and unappealing; and if you have environmental allergies it's very unhealthy. They could do away with that. OTherwise it's great for the price and location.

Staff are friendly, hotel is clean but the room was very cold we turned the heat to the max. It was not heating up the room. From Victoria, BC

The hotel required a $40/night credit charge for "incidentals". However there are no "incidentals" in the rooms except for bottled water. It is essentially a damage deposit. The desk said the charge would be reversed in 2-3days. While the hotel was nice we don't plan to be back if they keep this requirement.

very happy with the stay. We find out that they are also pet friendly.

Very Good Hotel for the price

I've stayed here three times now. The first two stays were fine. I had an upstairs room (it's a 2-story hotel) and the rooms were adequate for my needs. On this last stay, I was put in a downstairs, handicapped accessible room and was very disappointed. Both beds in the room were absolutely horrible. Truly, terrible. The hotel itself is old and somewhat dated but this particular room was bad. Carpet was coming up in places; baseboard was peeling in the bathroom; and again, both beds caved-in like a hammock when I sat on them. They should be taken to the dump. I made the best of it but pointed it out to the front desk. Rather than offering to move me, they offered me a free breakfast buffet which I could not use. I might give them another chance but then again, maybe not. It was that disappointing.

Once upon a time, this was a nice hotel. However, Bellevue has moved past its Red Lion days, and has moved on to bigger and better things. Watch out for the BMWs, Mercedes, Jags, and the occasional Rolls Royce. Bring your wallet and enjoy. Remember when Bellevue was a normal town... Not today!
