The staff at Tribeca Grand were very friendly and helpful -- and being offered a glass of champagne at check-in is always nice! The hotel is in a great area of the city, close to terrific restaurants. Our room was super comfortable. Only slight annoyance: we could hear the sounds of the elevator mechanics throughout the night. But, overall a terrific night away with my husband. We would definitely go back!

Cool hotel but so cool that the rooms are do dark that there is not enough light to work on the desk or shave in the bathroom.

High hopes for this location, but what I found looks very much like a hipster version of an embassy suites, with the motel-like internal atrium. Restaurant was OK, room fine - but not really what was expected. In addition, after granting us a late (2pm) checkout (and planning our morning around that), we received a call at around noon asking why we were still in the room. Not only had the receptionist not recorded the late checkout, but the person now calling effectively accused us of being dishonest and telling us that late checkouts were not available. Very poor customer service. Will not return here.

Rooms are small, can be slightly noisy from popular bar

My wife and I travel to NYC frequently and we are going to stay at the Tribeca Grand as much as we can. Service is outstanding, excellent drinks, food and atmosphere. People go out of their way to be helpful at this hotel.

Perfect location perfect staff very nice live jazz brunch I will definitely stay at the Grand again!

This hotel is a 3 at best. Great people but very out dated and extreemly dark.

Very chic and trendy. Rooms were bigger and more comfortable than expected. Doormen were wonderful! Rates were high and price dropped significantly the day before arrival. I would stay there again but will wait until the last minute to reserve the room.

The hotel was just perfect for our objectives, which included exploring Tribeca, SoHo, Financial District and other adjacent areas. Loved the small scale of this upscale boutique hotel which gave it a more personal feel. Staff were very gracious and accommodating. Great bar area. Very close to subways and located in the heart of Tribeca. Concierge was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Very friendly helpful staff. Had heard the music from the open air lobby can be distracting to sleep but we found doors very soundproof and music quite pleasant. Only minor complaint was lack of a suitable reading lamp for a partner ( room was quite dark) and staff forgetting request to deliver newspaper to room.

The hotel is not worth the money! Ripped bed sheets, two light bulbs were out. There was no 24 hour parking nearby (within 2 blocks or so). Better off at the W, The Standard, Smyth or even the SoHo Grand. Very Disappointed!

loved the hotel; the only negatives were: 1. wasn't crazy about the bathroom setup; particularly the metal vanity area and 2. they sent our luggage to the wrong room; we got it back without any issues so no harm no foul

We loved our weekend getaway. The hotel is very hip and fun. Would go back again.

Champagne upon check in!

TriBeCa Grand has a great location. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating; the front desk, concierge, and doormen were outstanding! Two negatives about the hotel: The lighting in our room was very poor, dimly lit hard to see. The bathroom had a dull yellow tint to the light , for a woman not ideal. Secondly ~ the staff in the lounge/bar and restaurant were unfriendly and rude. My husband and I were in New York on business. As guests in the hotel we were turned away two nights in a row form having a drink in the lounge with no concern or care that we were quests in the hotel one night the rude host with a terrible attitude pointed to the bar and said "that's it" we walked in and waited for over 15 mins, we got up and walked out. Fortunately the very professional and friendly concierge working that night made every effort to make things right for us, which was greatly appreciated.

The TriBeCa Grand is comfortable and a nice change from other more touristy areas of NYC. However for the second time, the service in the lounge was less than acceptable. After being ignored twice by the server, we asked for help to which the reply was "Were you seated?" There had been no one at the desk of the lounge to seat us. Then she didn't even bother to deliver the drinks, but instead continued to visit with her friends. This is the second time that the Lounge service was poor. Then when we wrote the manager, a beverage was offered in the way of appology. We live in Dubai! Not at all acceptable.

The hotel was very nice and worked out well for us. Some of the nice amenities were the coffee/tea room on each floor, room service was awesome, and hotel staff was great. The only issue we had was the noise level. we were trying to get away for a weekend and relax but at night the lobby bar club was loud and can be heard throughout hotel as it is an atrium. overall i would stay again and you need to ask for a quiet room and they have some in the back. Staff moved us around to accommodate us and the noise level.

Great location, very friendly staff, no tissues in the bathroom or in the main room. Zero.

We have stayed here once before when they first opened and it again was a great place to spend a night in the city; staff was pleasant, hotel is convenient both for parking the car and getting on the subway, the bed was comfortable, the coffee station helped wake us up, and we played a few games of pool in the lobby before we left, would definitely stay again

Always try to stay here when in NY - one of my favorites in the city.

Fun Hotel, but the loud music from the restaurant made sleep difficult after a long flight.

Very responsive and attentive service team. Great attitude.

This is a great hotel but it was starting to look tired a couple of years ago. Rooms need a little updating. Fantastic location though, can't beat it.

We had a great time at the Tribeca Grand. It is walking distance to shops and eating in Tribeca and SoHo. Carmen was super helpful with dinner reservations and directions. Near the Hudson River Parkway, so I could go for a morning run to Battery Park. The bar was closed Saturday night when we came home from our show, but there were lots of people in the lobby having a cocktails and it was a great time. Rooms were a bit small, but not unusual for NYC. Staff was really lovely.

Staff & Hotel was great. U will not be disappointed.

The staff could not have been more friendly and/or helpful. We were in the city for Christmas festivities and this was a great place to stay.

Went to NYC t celebrate cousin's 60th birthday. We thought the Grand Tribeca was excellent in every way. Stunning lobby, stainless steel bathroom vanity, helpful friendly staff, offered sparkling wine every day. Will stay there again and recommend it to others.

TGH is a great location. Not too far off of Canal St and Little Italy - Hotel staff is great... the food is great as well. Great lobby to hang and have a drink or two.

Loved the hotel and neighborhood. The people there are so nice and helpful. Our son came by with a pal and we played pool in the lobby, (we beat them I might add) The front desk gave him an upgrade for the night he stayed there too. The view from our room was great-old nyc facades with fire escapes, but because the street below is wide, you actually get a lot of sun coming in, which is gold in the city. We walked to SOHO, walked to the great Bubby's for breakfast. Will definitely come back!

I expected that the hotel was going to very high quality based on the prices I usually see and pictures and reputation. It was as I expected, and I was very pleased. The price was actually relatively low when I booked it. I read about reviews saying that the hotel is a little dark, but frankly I really don't understand that. It has a great vibe inside with restaurant and lounge area. I was in on business and took may laptop down to the lounge and got some work done. Rooms were very clean.

Went to have a drink at the bar on Friday Dec 14th...bartender was very snotty. Other than that very happy with the hotel as it was around the corner from a party we were attending. Would only return if I needed to be in that neighborhood for something specific. Rooms need updating and they are very dark.
