La Quinta Inn & Suites Portland NW - بورتلاند

I selected the La Quinta on Hwy 30 to access the University of Portland across the river easily. The St. John's neighborhood also directly across the river was also close enough to travel to for the purpose of dining in an eclectic and pleasant environment.

The hotel and staff were pleasant. Hotel is located in/near an industrial area. Very quiet at night and close to the freeway, just a few minutes from downtown and the Pearl District. I would recommend staying here.

Nice, clean quite hotel. Wonderful staff. Fabulous full breakfast - includes eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals galore, pastries, fruit, milk, juice and coffee. They accommodate everyone. They have lift in pool and hot tub for special needs, they are pet friendly and if you are a smoker - while you can't smoke in your room - they are kind enough to have covered smoking area. Location is in industrial area, but it is just minutes from downtown and zoo/children's museum. I would recommend hotel and would stay there again.

The location, despite being industrial and far from scenic, was very convenient so long as you don't mind driving into town. The condition and cleanliness of the hotel was also above average and the room was quite spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was a typical La Quinta breakfast (pastries, cereals, waffles, fruit, etc.) which we enjoyed. However, the chemical smell that greeted us as we made our way to our room was allergy inducing, while the heavily chlorinated pool and hot tub burned our eyes upon entering the area.

While my room was newly remodeled and designated a non smoking room, it had smelled terribly of smoke (maybe a former smoking room?). Unfortunately , the hotel was full so I was unable to change rooms and ended up checking out a day early. The complimentary breakfast was good but the location of the hotel is in an industrial park and not within walking distance with other places to eat.

The person at counter was not rude at all but just lacked customer service, friendliness and making the guest feel welcomed; felt as if we just needed to hurry up get in and get out type of service. The breakfast service was great, the servers where really pleasant and hotel was easy to find.

The room was much smaller than the room I thought I booked on line. The location was less than ideal, it's right next to a truck stop and was very noisy.

Close to NW Portland where we had medical appointments. Decent breakfast choices. Reasonably priced accommodations. Comfortable and quiet, considering amount of nearby traffic.

The transportation system was extremely convenient and the hotel personnel, especially the lady who served breakfast, was fantastic!

We had a very comfortable, firm king-sized bed, which is exactly what we prefer. We stayed here because it is pet friendly (dog was along), it was within 2.5 miles of where relatives were staying, and only a few short minutes drive to the shopping area on 23rd and the Pearl District. However, the hotel is pretty far removed from any restaurants or coffee shops. This is a river/harbor industrial area. That location, though, was enough to keep the price affordable compared to downtown hotel rates. Breakfast was great; we were told a continental breakfast was available, but also offered were biscuits, sausage gravy and scrambled eggs, which were delicious. Options also included make-your-own waffles, pastries (cut into sections), cereals, coffee, tea, juices and fresh oranges and bananas. If you only need a place to sleep when not shopping or sight-seeing, this LaQuinta is worth staying at. Only complaint was the sound of the running water coming from adjacent and rooms immediately above. Pretty loud, but forgivable.

The first room that I was put in was at the very end of the hotel. This was right next to a recycling plant that I found out starts business at 4am, as I was awoken to the sound of it and had trouble getting back to sleep, because the noise was constant. Once I changed rooms to the other side of the hotel, I had no problem. This made my first day down there pretty hard, as I was very tired.

mattress was in need of updating.OK but not exceptional by any means. Entire motel was clean and breakfast was good with large selection. Surrounding neighborhood was all industrial. Walking distance to nowhere....

The room was pleasant and clean. Staff was helpful and polite. Dog friendly.

The La Quinta Portland NW is a great place to stay for business trips. It's located very close to the shipyard where we perform a lot of work, and makes it very convenient. For vacation purposes, it's off the beaten path and not too close to downtown Portland. We stay here quite a bit and the hotel is always clean and staff is helpful.

The pool was great. The neighborhood is industrial, which means quiet at night. No stores or restaurants next door, but none of the traffic and noise either. The only bad thing, which ruined it for me, was the super soft bed. My back was totally wrecked by morning.

This is not in the center of Portland, but traffic is very convenient to the center. Very clean motel.

Unfortunately we only used hotel as sleeping accommodation while visiting with family in Rose Quarter.

I was extremely disappointed in the location of this hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, newer and well kept. very clean rooms and bedding. However the location ruined the experience. It is in an industial guetto. Our view out our window was of a Penske moving truck storage location facility. There is a mini mart accross the parking lot with all of it windows and doors barred on the inside. There is nothing but factories and industrial building around it. Wish it was a better location because the hotel was great but I will never stay there again with that location!!!

We chose this hotel because it was the right side of town for the sports event that we were attending. Although it was in an industrial part of the city, the hotel surpassed our expectations. The hotel was in very good condition, it was very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful, and was excellent value for money. We will definitely be staying here again.

Overall great place to stay, breakfast was good. Pool was nice and parking is free. The rooms seem brand new but there are no shops or restaurants nearby.

Fine stay. the location is in an industrial area, so not much around. Starbucks a 1/3 mile away. 23rd St and pearl Distrist of Portland are not too far (3-4 miles) if you don;t mind getting in the car for everything. It was clean and we slept fine.

Repeatedly requested change of room; from dark dungy, basement accomodations with very little light to what I'm used to here - light bright rooms with views of surrounding tree covered hills. Front desk could not help, and really didn't want to even try. Never again.

I have stayed at many La Quinta's in my traveling career and this property was the worst I have ever experienced out of all the many hotels I have ever visited. My first clue was the industrial area the hotel is situated at and it went down hill from there. The management and staff were not welcoming at all and instead of offering to help fix an issue they felt the need to argue with me right away. I ended up demanding my money back and finding an alternative on my own.

Room, location & pool were great (room was a little warm during the nights). Front desk were helpful & friendly.Continental breakfast was disappointing as no syrup one day for the waffles & no eggs, bisquits & gravy another day. No attendent was in the breakfast room & had to go to the front desk to let them know they were almost out of food - other guests were also waiting for food.

We have stayed there 2 times and both times were good. The only thing is that we can tell that the rooms had a smokers preference before. Smell of smoke is still slightly present. Over all nice rooms. If you don't like all the city hustle then this is a good location in the industrial district. Free parking and plenty of it!!

Our family had an excellent stay at the La Quinta. The room was great, the pool amazing, and the breakfast was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Quinta in Portland. It was just a few miles from all the activities we wanted to see, the gardens, mansion and close enough to downtown Portland making it a lot cheaper. The room was clean and we felt very safe. My only complaint would be the neighborhood, it was kind of industrial so there wasn't much of a view. Seeing as we went to Portland to explore, the view from the room wasn't a big deal to us.

I had a very nice view of Forest Park from my room. The hotel was in an industrial area but had easy access to the freeway and Northwest Portland. I enjoyed swimming in the indoor heated pool. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

The staff was awesome. They were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great.

i did not feel warm during thr night i would like to hasve found blanket in room just one sheet and a bedspread was certainly not warm enough during night that is only reason i did not give 5 to all questions but staff were very good indeed and i will be staying again even if i bring my own comfator thank you rk redman

Certainly better than average, It doesn't appear that we got credit for booking in the rewards program. Not clear what went wrong. The hotel was fine though
