Baymont Inn & Suites Joplin - جوبلن

I GAVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE MAINLY BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY BOOKED THIS NIGHT IN ADVANCE AND COULDN'T CANCEL BUT I ALSO WANTED TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE. THIS TIME IT WAS BETTER. THE ONLY PROBLEM THIS TIME IS I AM DISABLED AND I BOOKED A DISABLED ROOM WHICH I DID GET BUT THE BATH TUB HAD A HUGE WALL YOU HAD TO CLIMB OVER TO GET IN THAT I DIDN'T USE IT IN FEAR OF FALLING AND I ALSO HAVE TO USE A CPAP MACHINE AT NIGHT WHEN I SLEEP AND THE PLUG TO PLUG THAT IN WAS BEHIND THE BED WHERE YOU HAD TO MOVE A HEAVY BED TO GET TO IT. I HAVE A HEART CONDITION SO I WAS NOT ABLE TO MOVE IT BUT I DID CALL DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK AND THE GUY DOWN THERE CAME UP TO PLUG IT IN FOR ME SO IT WORKED OUT IN THE END. THEY ARE RIGHT AROUND ALOT OF FOOD CHOICES AND RIGHT NEXT TO DENNYS.

Overall the hotel stay was comfortable and clean. Very little outside noise. Clean rooms. Good location and close to everything you could think of that you might need or want. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Overall a great hotel with a very decent price!!

Great room, great breakfast. What more can you ask for?

check in staff was very curteous. Our room how ever was not very clean lots of dust, drain for tub messed up came out of hole..bed was horrible my back was hurting in the morning. Breakfast was great! other than that it was good.

I always like staying with Baymont, but their beds are hard on my back. Within a couple of hours, I was unable to find any comfortable position. We stayed two nights at the Joplin Baymont because it was close to where my brother lives. Both nights, one night at 4:00 am and the other at 5:30 am, the TV came on by itself. There was no picture, just hideously loud audio. I don't know if there was a wake-up timer set, but the sleep timer didn't work. That wouldn't keep me from staying with Baymont again, but I would recommending fixing the tv and providing remotes that actually work.

The room was in pretty bad shape. Worn carpet. Mold between tiles in tub area. Faucet handles very loose. In spite of all of this, we got a very good night's rest, and the breakfast was the best free breakfast we've had on the road. So in reality, what we needed most we got, but the room's condition left quite a bit to be desired...

Terrible, old hotel . Parking lot, was also a truck stop. Much truck noises.and the smell of the fumes in the late evening and morning

We found a large hairball in the shower drain. a slipper was left in the room from a previous guest. the indoor pool was ice cold and when something was said to the service desk they stated the heater should be on. we said there was no way it could be. they did not make any effort to fix it or appologize. the hallways and lobby were chilly as well. i felt like the people there did not take their job serious

Much nicer than the place we stayed last time we were in this area. Room smelled fresh and clean when we entered. Good breakfast each morning. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was right off the highway and close to many restaurants and places to shop.

The staff were very friendly. When we got to the room, it had a musty smell that was a cross between old cigarette smoke and a used A/C filter. It appeared that someone may have laid on the bed. Overnight, it got a little chilly, but when I tried to use the heater, it smelled like it was burning something and set off the smoke alarm.

I found this hotel ineed of a renovation, it is outdated. the first room I was in the air didn't work, the second room I was in the air controllers was broken and the tub in the bathroom had rust around the fictures.the location and staff was the only nice part about this hotel.

Motel in its day I am sure was fine, but now has old run down feel. even the sheets on the bed were in worn condition. Had old dirty feel to the place. If I had not already paid in advance through hotels.com I would have canceled and moved to a another motel.

Only not happy when the room smell smoking, They spray but not really get away. I have children and myself could not sleep well during that smell .

The breakfast was awful every morning. Below average. Staff was great and very helpful in all matters

We had two "non-smoking" rooms. One was perfect, the other smelled pretty badly of smoke. Other than that, and that the hot tub was drained, it was just what we needed.

Nice hotel. Good hot breakfast. Overall, very nice.

stay was good but left personal clothing items in the room (Sunday church outfits) and after calling the next day they were not turned in and never returned --so that kindof ruined things .Talked to management they want me to check back after they contact housekeepping to see if they were found and turned in.will contact later Monday afternoon.

The location was excellent -- right off the highway and near lots of stores/eating places. It was difficult to get in and out of the parking lot because there didn't seem to be a dedicated entrance for just the hotel. Aside from that, it was an excellent value for the money. Room came with fridge and microwave, too -- nice!

Everything was ok but when you say you have a spa you need to clean and fill it up

It was a place to sleep, and although the beds were comfortable enough, the room and even hallways throughout the hotel were certainly NOT clean. There were visible dust bunnies under and around the mini-fridge and behind the night stand between the beds. We also found a pair of rolled up socks behind the night stand when looking for outlets to plug cell phone chargers into. The coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous guests and the bathroom mirror when steamy had awful streaks running down it as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages! When checking out I mentioned to the concierge that their cleaning crew could do a LOT better, and she actually agreed with me! No apology or anything!!!

It was ok, the bed was decent. Tv signal wasn't all that great. The pool and hot tub was a disappointment.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The pool and spa were also very nice. The room was clean and the staff were also friendly and courteous. We will stay there again on a futute trip.

It's just a run of the mill hotel. The service was friendly, and we didn't have any problems at all. The only real knock was that the room was not overly comfortable. What I mean is that most hotels are trending towards large comfortable pillowtop mattresses, and very comfortable beds etc. The bed wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. However, there was a pullout sofa and a microwave, which were great added features. I would stay there again, but I wish it was a little cheaper, the current price seems a little inflated.

With help from Amy, I was able to change my hotel dates with ease through hotels.com after a mishap at home changed our vacation plans. Although I had to pay a convienence charge, which I completely understand, she made the change easier.

Room could've been cleaner, pool and hot tub could've been warmer. Found out at check in pets NOT welcome, but told them it was advertised otherwise and they "allowed" us to stay with our dog at no extra charge.

I'll start with the end - I will stay there again, and would recommend this hotel to my friends. But it sure didn't look like that the first half day. A long 11 hour drive so when I got into my room I collapsed in bed about 7 PM. An intruder opened my door and woke me an hour later by turning on the lights - then realized I was in bed and scooted back out the door, leaving the lights on. Turned out it was a mistake in entering my arrival in the computer, so really no harm was done. But when I went back to my room, my code-card didn't work ... of course ... because it had been superceded by the code key given to the lady who entered my room. It cost me another walk down the hall, but the problem was fixed - until the next day (I had a 5-nite stay) when I couldn't get into the room. The clerk was so flustered by the earlier mistake that it was forgotten I needed access for four more days instead of just the first one. No sweat, I'm I nice guy, and we all got along ... Until the next morning when I found a critter under the biscuit at breakfast.. Yeah, that's true, but I've seen bigger cockroaches, and some were downright aggressive when they were trying to eat breakfast and some out-of-towner interrupted their meal. ;^) That's all. I stayed four more days and was treated like a guest hopes to be treated, and left on friday with a satisfied feeling about the week. I WILL stay there again next time I'm in Joplin in a month or so. The people really ARE helpful and kind, and this hotel was clean, in spite of the bug - hell, he might have followed me into the hotel and just adopted me - who knows. LOL! Probably wouldn't hurt to give the place a routine spraying (??),

Our room was very nice and big. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again. The only thing I wished was that the pool was bigger and that they had an eliptical machine in there exercise room. Otherwise everything was good.

We stayed there the day after Christmas because of my son's wedding. They let us check in early. The wedding wasn't until 7 pm, so we arrived refreshed after a nice nap. They also let us transfer the room to my daughter and son-in-law, and we went home (about a 2 hour drive) after the wedding. Thank you Baymont! You were awesome!

Although the hotel is not luxurious by any standard, the staff is excellent, polite, and helpful. The room was well-kept and clean with a couch for relaxing and a desk for working.

We were traveling and needed a place right off of the interstate to sleep overnight. I called HOTELS.com and the agent highly recommended this hotel. I booked and paid for the hotel room before arriving in the city and having a chance to actually view the hotel or check out pictures of the hotel on-line. This was a BIG mistake. The hotel.com agent stated the room would have two queen beds. The room, however, only had two double beds. The night clerk was extremely rude. We entered our room and discovered there were only two pillows (total) on each bed. I went back and requested more pillows from the night clerk. Her response was "I doubt we have any more". I asked her to check anyway and amazingly enough, she found two more pillows. The hotel itself was very dirty. The bathroom area in our room was vividly dirty. I had to run back out to the car and when I stepped into the stairwell, I discovered 2-3 roaches crawling in and out of the base board. Fortunately, I didn't see any in our room or I would have immediately left. I stopped in for breakfast at 6:30 am. I was pleasantly surprised to find biscuits & gravy. However, I was quickly disappointed to find that they were extremely cold and required a microwave. The check out clerk was the only positive experience. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a Baymont Hotel and I travel quite frequently with work. After this experience, I will NEVER stay at another.

The staff was courteous and helpful but the hotel carpets were not only dirty but filthy! There were sticky footprints on the entry hardwoods, hair on the sink, toilet and bathtub...thank GOD for llysol wipes! The bed was comfy yet with how dirty the room was we didn't sleep well! Continental breakfast was good though! Sorry to say I won't be staying at that location again!

We were very comfortable. Nice furnishings, free wifi, great hot breakfast. A bargan.

I'm really not picky as hotels go. However, this hotel was not to my liking. The one time I needed a hotel elevator (bringing my son's bike to college), I'm told that the elevator is out and I will have to take the stairs. The beds were very lumpy and the rooms cleanliness was minimal. Not my best hotel experience.

This is a pretty decent business hotel. It's not quite as nice as most Holiday Inns I've stayed (the sheets here smelled subtly old to me). The room, however, was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The business center had free internet and printing, which was a plus. The continental breakfast was standard mediocre fare. It is right off the interstate. There is a small pool. The exercise room has a treadmill and a stairclimber.

Horrible experience! Dirty lobby, even dirtier rooms! Candy wrappers behind the night stand, dust covered all the lamp cords and outlets, stains on the bedspreads, hair on the pillows, carpet sticky, did NOT want to walk barefoot! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Hotel room was not cleaned even though the front desk insisted that it had been cleaned... pretzels on the floor and hair on the pillows... Had to battle to get moved to a different room. Property had cigarette butts on the outside walkways and garbage bags stacked in various places around the motel. Would not recommend staying here ever.

Should have known when we pulled in the parking lot that this wasn't going to be a good experience. The grass looked like it hadn't been mowed in a month. All I can say is DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY.

Bad experience! When I arrived at the hotel there was NO clerk at front desk. Waited for a while and then went to look for someone. Finally found this man named "Bruce". When I told him I had been waiting at the front desk for awhile and that the phone was ringing off the wall he hatefully said"I have a hotel to manage!" I told him he didn't have to be so hateful. He said "Really?" Then when he finally was checking me in he said he couldn't find any reservations in my name(giving me a hard time) so I whipped out the conformation and started reading off the numbers. Well of a sudden he found my reservations! Not very professional to treat customers that way! The rest of the staff was nice. The room was dirty, hair in bathtub, sticky floor in bathroom, smeared mirror, TV reception was awful, swimming pool water was cold, Hot tub lukewarm with Lots of suds in it. When the maid cleaned the room on our second day she only half way made the bed and that was all she did! The blow dryer was broken also, and the breakfast wasn't very good. I did try contacting the manager but she didn't care enough to return my email. I did try calling but she was never there! Wouldn't recommend this Baymont to anyone!
