Centrale Palace Hotel - باليرمو

Missed WIFI in the rooms. Very sentral location with walking distance to most of the sites in Palermo.

The hotel is lovely but the neighborhood is getting quite shabby and for that reason would not stay here again. I stayed here a few years ago but would not do so again. On this particular trip we stayed at the hotel for 4 days, travelled around Sicily, and then returned for another night at this hotel. The first room they gave us was more expensive and not great, an outside room so there was a lot of outdoor noise all night long. The shower door stuck and for the price of the room I feel we did not receive the value. When we returned for our last night we were given a room by the atrium which was larger, lovely and at a cheaper rate. I think they reversed the quality of our rooms. 99% of the staff was helpful and professional. One person was terrible. Breakfast was very nice.

I visited Palermo on a 5 day business trip in October 2011. The Centrale Palace Hotel was recommended by an associate in Italy. The staff was excellent, the room very well appointed and clean and the breakfast room very warm and inviting. The location and proximity to fine inexpensive restaurants made it very convenient after a long day. Everything was within easy walking distance.

I only stayed one night. It was a very nice hotel. There was a problem with the air conditioner in my room, but they took care of it immediately. They were very helpful as to getting around Palermo.

The hotel was located perfectly in the center of a lot of the must see. Right off Vittorio Emanuele and only a few walking minutes from Palermo's Cathedral. We recently moved to Sicily from the United States and this was our first time traveling withing the island. We were not awared that Italy require a passport for check in. It would be nice to have that under requirements for check in or something. There is no irons in the rooms or entire Hotel. They do have Dry cleaning with charge of course. The room was very clean which makes me very happy cause that is a must for me. We stayed in the Classic room and I was very happy with it. It didn't have a tub which is not good when you have babies. We had to bathe our baby in the sink. Breakfast was really nice! Great service and delicious! Bellmen were very courteous.

A great hotel, service oriented and helpful staff. Perfect location to sites, restaurants, shops, etc. A gem in the center of the city!

This is a beautiful hotel, converted from a previous Palazzo. The location is very Palermo (ie dirty, massive amount of traffic, dusty, noisy) but this is all left behind when you enter the hotel. Incredibly high ceilings, chandeliers, gorgeous mirrored walls, glass ceilings - it's got it all. It *is* however right in the middle of a very dirty, busy (alive!) city. So be warned. You may need to rinse those sandals when your return. I cannot fault the staff - attentive, helpful, knowledgable. Loved it.

This hotel exuded character reminiscent of its history. The staff were friendly and the hotel was well maintained. The location of this hotel was convenient to many of the key tourist sites and provided a good base to travel out of Palermo on day trips as it was just a 20 min walk away from the Central Train and Bus Stations. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. We were walking distance to most attractions. It is an older style hotel with antiques and fresco-like paintings on ceiling and walls. Don't expect a large modern hotel room. My only concern would be staying in the summer. The AC was not working or turned on. It wasn't a big problem for us because we traveled there in May. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

The hotel staff spoke limited English, but refused to admit to not understanding and so either gave inappropriate "scripted" responses based upon the one or two words they understood or ignored requests. The windows in the rooms (we had a suite) had heavy, barred inner and outer shutters that did not allow daylight to enter the room. The breakfast buffet was nice.

Well, it is called Palace Hotel. Somehow it does have that classic palace looking with interesting decoration. The hotel room was quite big, and high ceiling. The lobby was very nice. People do speak English and quite helpful. The location is fantastic, right in city center on the major cross roads. Excellent value for such a nice place.

I was so pleased I'd booked this hotel-a lovely quiet serene place to relax in after the hustle and bustle of Palermo. We booked a classic room which was fine for us-bathrooms could do with an update but had no problems in that area. Room was large enough for us and it had a balcony which was a plus. We didn't eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that but the breakfast was superb and waiting staff were very attentive. Female Reception staff could do with attending a customer care course as they were a little brusque in their manner but no complaints about the male reception staff. Overall excellent stay at the Hotel Centrale. needs

Just off the Quattro Canti, and around the corner from Praetoria Fountain, this hotel with it's roominess and old-world elegance really makes staying in Palermo (a trying thing if you're NOT in the right hotel/locale) a pleasure. Plus, there's a quiet and cozy rooftop area with nice views to lounge around in as well as eat in (though the restaurant is quite expensive). The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and professional, arranged taxi rides, etc. with no fuss and were actually the first people to utter the words "Welcome to ..." to us during our entire 21 day stay in Sicily. Would recommend highly.

Her kan du være heldig å få et rom som er bra eller måtte bytte 2 ganger for å få minst standard. Da vi ankom var det en dame på resepsjonen som var veldig uhøfflig selv om hun snakket engelsk og vi snakker italiensk i tillegg. Hun ga oss et rom som hadde ikke vært brukt sikkert i mange måneder, et rom ved restaurant, foran toalettene til gjestene, og som hadde så mye støv at vi måtte bytte. Rommet var bite liten og sikkert ansattenes soveværelse i gamle dagene, siden dette er en gammel slott. Den andre rom vi fikk var på end av en lang korridor og vis a vis en forlattet konstruksjon, der man kunne se knust veggene, glass i vinduene, ingen lys, ganske ekkelt utsikten. Altså ingen sjarmerende ruiner, men forfallende nabo byggning der man ville ikke åpne de store vinduene, mens andre rommene hadde utsikt mot innsiden av hotel og var mye penere, eller mot sentrums gater. Sengen er så hardt som mulig, og putene var for lave. Vi kunne høre nabo gjestene dusje og bruke toalette og lytte til deres sang og andre business de hadde å gjøre på badet. Beligenhet er bra hvis man vil spasere rundt i byen på dagtiden og har ikke bilen, de er helt ved siden av Quattro canti. På kveld var det ingen fine restaurant omkring, man mange stengt små butikkene, veldig lite livet i forhold til resten av Palermo, så vi tok bilen ut av garasjen allikevel for å spise middag. Parkering ordnes med ekstra betaling og det gikk veldig bra. Bellman var høfflig og hjelpsom. Det var også front desk Jean Pierro, som kompensert for den usympatiske resepsjonen vi fikk tidligere av hans kollega. Han kunne informere om alt mulig, var hyggelig og kjempe profesjonel og service minded. Frokost var topp også, ingen klage, og det var verdt det ekstra pris på denne 4 stjerne, som ellers var et interessant hotel i seg selv, men litt skuffende hvis man vil ha litt bedre utsikt og vet ikke hvilket rom man får tildelt. Reserver spesifikk et rom med god utsikt, ellers kan man bli meget irritert på hvor man havner. Ta

Serviço deixa muito a desejar. A maioria dos funcionários não são simpáticos e deveriam procurar outra profissão. O sistema hidráulico dos quartos em mal estado de conservação. Café da manhã ruim. O restaurante do hotel apesar de ter boas instalações está sempre fechado.

Compte tenu de l'emplacement et de ce qu'il a été je recommande l'hotel mais francheemt il est entièrement à rénover!!

L'hôtel est très bien situé et de qualité; l'accueil y est très professionnel; la chambre et son entretien sont sans reproche. Un regret: malgré - ou à cause de?-une réservation très précoce, la chambre était au premier étage, très sombre,avec vue sur un bâtiment en ruine donnant sur une venelle; en bref, il était exclu de pouvoir ouvrir les rideaux sans déprimer; en ce pays ensoleillé et même si les activités d'un touriste sont extérieures, c'est dommage d'éprouver l'enfermement dans une chambre par ailleurs très confortable.

très bel hotel , très bien entretenu; jolies chambres avec doubles fenetres permettant de dormir au calme même côté rue. terrasse agréable et belle salle de petit déjeuner

La struttura è molto di impatto, anche se la reception non è di una struttura di 4 stelle. La colazione buona, peccato per il personale non all’altezza, ogni giorno mancava qualcosa, poco curato il servizio che potrebbe essere considerato un 2-3 stelle. Poco gentili alla reception. Pioveva, ho chiesto degli ombrelli ma per ben 3 giorni mi veniva detto che erano terminati o alternativamente che non li avevano, per fortuna si potevano comprare nella hall da dei venditori extracomunitari. Il divano della mio junior suite era molto sporco. Forse ci tornerei ma prima guarderei altri alberghi.

Das Doppelzimmer war extrem klein, wie auch das Badezimmer, ohne Platz zum Duschen, WC etc... Klimaanlage verwandelte das Zimmer in einen Duft von Urinstein - und musste abgeschalten werden. Sehr positiv hervorzuheben die traumhafte Dachterrasse. Frühstück ist OK. Personal eher unwirrsch!

Hotel excessivement bien situé (à proximité du quattro canti). Chambre impeccable, personnel accueillant, très bon petit déjeuner. A vivement recommander.

Nice rooms and good breakfast. Central position. Most of the attraction within walking distance. Some of the reception people were ok, others not so nice. One of them insisted that there were no internet connection in the room, his colleague said the opposite. The last one was right., but we were charged 6 euro for an hour. The minibar was also quite expencive.

Bonnes prestations, hôtel en plein centre avec des chambres calmes et meublé avec goût. Parking véhicule sécurisé mais payant : rajouter 17 euros par nuit. Un très bon hôtel pour visiter Palerme.

Albergo con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sontuose stanze, personale attento, ubicazione comoda per chi è in visita turistica o anche per affari.Prima colazione eccellente. Lo consiglio vivamente.
