Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad - كارلسباد

I found the Courtyard Marriott in Carlsbad, CA to be a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed looking out the slider on to trees and pool. Staff was very nice, especially Ellen! She went out of her way to be of assistance.

I really enjoyed the comfortable bed, which was remarkable for sure and I the cafe style restaurant actually had healthy options that tasted great. I was surprised that I didn't have to leave the hotel for anything.

Quiet location, friendly staff .

This was my third time staying at this hotel. It's near everything that makes Carlsbad a fun place to be (Beaches, the Flower Fields, shopping, & Legoland!). It's also near an airport, and it's convenient to surrounding areas with the freeway accessible. But the hotel is situated in a quiet little nook which is perfect! Beds are good, the staff's incredibly nice and they cater to you as much as they possibly can. I'll be back!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel, the staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous. A quiet location, rooms were very clean, spacious and affordable. Close enough to all local attractions. Enjoyed having Starbucks coffee every morning!! Nice outdoor pool and clean laundry facility. Overall, a very nice place to stay run by efficient staff. Yes, I definitely would stay here again on my next trip to Carlsbad.

Check in and out was great. Rooms were nicely redone and clean. Staff were nice an help full. Breakfast was nice and hot. Legoland is close by and so was the local grocery story to stock up on sacks...overall great hotel and my choose for the next trip to Legoland.

Overall the hotel was nice and as expected. Except.... for the mattress that was like a hammock. This thing should have been replaced at least a year before I got there. The phone on the desk was broken (not that big a deal since I only use it to call the desk and there are two phones in the room) and the cat 5 cable for the internet was broken as well (the fastener clip was broken), though I managed to work with it. That aside, the hotel was nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would have moved rooms if I was staying more than one night. The management needs to be checking stuff like the bed and the internet cable that is basic to traveler comfort and utility.

The staff was excellent. Very friendly. The room we stayed in on the 2nd floor was brand new. The hotel had just remodeled and the 2nd floor was only a couple weeks old. What we didn't know when we pulled in to the hotel was that the first floor was under construction. A minor inconvenience. That's why I rated the condition of the hotel a 3. Also, because of the newness, the room did have a glue smell, which I'm sure will go away after a week or so.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels- as someone who travels frequently for work and for pleasure I have come to really appreciate the Marriott brand. What I appreciated most about this stay was the courteous, prompt and professional attitude of every single employee who I encountered. I arrived late at night and realized I forgot my toothbrush. I called the front desk within 2 minutes I heard a knock at my door and my dental kit was being delivered. Everyone at this hotel smiled, greeted me and made a point to ask me how I was enjoying my stay. This is better service than I have experienced while staying at 5 star, $500 per night hotels! It is the little things that matter and I appreciate that the folks at this Marriott made sure they were upholding the brand at every interaction.

The lobby of this hotel is really amazing. Everything is new and modern. Then you get to your room and I thought the elevator was a time machine and I went back in time 20 years.

Johnathan at the front desk was awesome! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He even did us a solid. He's honestly the best I've ever experienced.

I was a bit disapointed, when I first arrived I was told the computer system was down and they were unable to give me a room because of it. I said my reservation was already made but that didnt seem to matter. I was a little stressed for it was a romatic night celebration. One other front desk gal was kind enough to go behind the scene and get me a room so I felt better then. When I woke up in the morning I was shocked to see that we had slept on a sheet that clearly had reminents of mold on it. I felt icky after that. I probably will never stay at this hotel again. Sorry to say.

If all Marriott's are this clean and accommodating I will be booking with this Hotel again.

My stay was wonderful, only thing I didn't like is there is no room service - you have to pick up your own food at the bar (and all the food is frozen nothing is served fresh). But the potato soup was very nice and the burger was really well done also. Very Friendly staff, Pool was nice and everything was clean. WIll Come back soon!

Very nice hotel, Very Clean and Modern. But why can they not insure the ice machines work and if not give the guest a clue as to which floor we need to go to. Both 1st and 2nd floor ice machines did not work for the 3 days we were there.

Great hotel. We would stay again for sure!

Overall wonderful place. Does not have breakfast buffet. Only a pay breakfast option. No other close by restaurants

We have a young baby (4 months old), and we had been driving all night. When we got there at 7am in the morning, they were warm, welcoming, and very helpful getting us checked in early. They brought a fridge up to our room for the baby's milk. We couldn't have been happier with the whole experience at the hotel!

Communication wasn't clear. Hotels.com stated hotel had complimentary breakfast when in fact it didn't. This caused some discomfort in the am while this was resolved. Hotel staff were accommodating after some discussion. Our bed sheets were dirty and we had to request they be changed. We booked for 4 and only enough toiletries for 2 were provided. Very easy to get to legoland from this location. Shuttle service needs to be booked if this is what you desire.

Love this hotel and the location. The only bad thing was the towels, they were old with small holes. Eerything else was great!

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable but the walls are to thin you could here everything. It was to much noise. If your lookin for quit dont stay here.

Hard to find in the dark. Map was wrong. Nice room. Pleasant night manager

My wife and 3 young children thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Room was spacious, the staff was very courteous, the pool was big and heated just right, the breakfast buffet was outstanding...I would definitely come back again without any hesitation.

Access to activities near hotel, easy. Room is kind of dated, but clean. Accommodations does not justify the weekend rates charged. Overall it fit the occassion. Don't think i'll stay again.

The staff at the desk and in their small bar were all first rate. If not for business, I would have continued to shop around for a more economical choice. Free internet, but really expensive breakfast for what is pretty much included at other places. If you've got the $$ to spend then good recommendation

The Hotel was was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and polite! We would stay there again!

The hotel and staff were terrific. We were close to the beach & legoland. It was nice and quiet. Breakfast buffet with hot/cold items...yummy. They have a driver ready to go to drop you off at the surrounding areas. We felt like it was truly a vacation. :)

We stayed only for a night and it was quite good, but it was disappointing that we couldn't use the pool, it was closed during the morning on the day we left.
