Days Inn Williamsburg Colonial Resort - ويليامسبورغ

Convenient to places we needed, Wished there was an iron and a coffee pot. Room kept clean, just smaller. Continental coffee left a lot to be desired.

Eveything was wonderful about the stay I had with my two boys at this Hampton Inn. Friendly, considerate staff; beautiful, well-appointed room; great continental breakfast; nice fitness center and pool; lovely decor throughout; and perfectly convenient to everything we wanted to do in Williamsburg. We will definitely be back!!

Everything was very clean and comfortable, price was great!!!

This is adequate for one overnight. Hotel smells of excessive chlorine for pool. Hall carpets are old and not very well cleaned. Breakfastroom staff very good but room too small fornumber of travelers.

Only looking for a place to sleep overnight, so we weren't able to use or rate its facilities, such as pool, exercise room, game room or business center. Breakfast was very limited, but it was free. Rooms were fairly clean. Hotel had "homey" feeling and atmosphere, however, you could smell cigarette smoke inside despite the nonsmoking facility. Did not use hotel service, so unable to rate, but staff seemed friendly enough. Location of hotel was somewhat secluded and quiet, which is nice, butconvenient enough to be within minutes of restaurants and attractions. Overall experience was good. Afterall, it is a 2 star hotel.

good thing the breakfast was free - the milk was outdated ... the cereal was stale the other food was not visually appealing - bed was unconfortable . air condition was irratic .. bath tub tile looked dirty in places .. hard to located hotel even with directions and address .. would not stay there again

The hotel location was great. Near alot of restaurants and other things to do. Actual hotel a little disappointing, the room really didn't give you a clean cozy feeling. The chair in our room had a nasty stain on it and the floor was really dirty. Walking on it with bear feet felt disgusting. My son's room had some kind of stains on the wall and the wall had a big hole in it cover with wall paper. And last but not least we discovered that our room door didn't lock and had to change rooms the second night we were there. The price was good, but I wouldn't stay here again unless they upgrade the rooms.

needed a place to stay overnight, met out expectations

Hotel was convenient to many major highways, shopping, and tourist attractions. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was somewhat limited in space and selections and uncomfortable with AC on full blast in the breakfast room.

Having been on the road late in the night it was nice to have a nice place to stay. The hotel was easy to find, the night clerk was very friendly considering it was after 2:00 a.m. The room was clean, the beds were very firm.

Hotel Employees were very nice and helpful; however the rooms had a horrible smell and did not appear to be the cleanest. Continental breakfast was minimum rating; ran out of main food by 9 and did not have extra. My family had to eat cereal. Location was perfect for Williamsburg trip and the kids loved the indoor pool.

It was not what I expected. When we first walked in it was a smell that was a turn off. Also the indoor pool was like a block of ice. The rooms were very small also...

Hotel was clean. Need some updating. Good location. Overall happy with stay

The front desk staff were efficient and nice. Check in and out was easy. That is the positive. When we got to our room the door was propped open and a very musty or wet smell was evident. We did not say anything because it was so late and the hotel was sold out. We did not sleep much and the breakfast was not much either. Would choose another hotel next time. We dealt with it because we were only there for 12 hours.

The hotel was clean standard room close to walmart and other fast food eateries only 10 minutes to busch gardens the only thing is the breakfast was not anything special some warmed up french toast sticks english muffins bagels and small pastries (everyday)....we actually went to McDonald's for breakfast which is located in WalMart right behind the hotel but if your stay is brief you will enjoy this hotel

Hotel room was clean, but room was very dark. We also thought the room had a microwave and refrigerator but apparently no rooms in this hotel are equipped with either. The indoor pool was too cold and should be heated. We did not appreciate that smokers were always hanging around the side doors which were the most accessible doors for guests to come in and out. On the plus side, the hotel is close enough to attractions, restaurants, and shops and staying a few miles away from central Williamsburg was less expensive.

The hotel was clean and easy to get to. Hotel is with 5 miles of most attractions. People were friendly and found the room clean. The room was a little bit worn and one of the chairs in room was ripped. For the moeny it was a good choice. Hotel need some upgrading and although clean there are worn ou and stain carpets in the hall way and some minor maintenance issues. I would recommend this hotel for a family with children on a budget. Pool is indoors and a good size and clean. Overall a great value.

Entire hotel reeks of mold. Walls, floors and ceilings have visible mold in several areas. I have photos if you would to see them. Only one functioning ice machine for the entire hotel which is made worse by the fact that rooms do not have mini fridges. Pool chemicals are way too strong in a failed attempt to cover some of the mold odor and no hot tub. I would bet that the VA Dept of health would shut this hotel down. Do not recommend it to anyone. Beware! Stay at your own health risk! Horrible!

Needed a place to stay in Williamsburg for our vacation. Based on the ratings this seemed like a good hotel for the price. While it seemed clean, the room and common areas were dated and very worn. This was probably a nice place 20+ years ago. The beds were VERY uncomfortable, probably worse than a cut-rate bargain chain hotel. The breakfast selection and eating area was reasonable, but not as good as most national chains. The staff was very friendly.

We arrived at the hotel late on Friday night and if I had been traveling by myself, I would not have stayed. There were people sitting everywhere outside and a couple of the groups were a little loud (drinking and yelling) and blocking the side entrance. There was a large group there and I can understand them grouping and visiting but the loud group I don't think was part of that bunch. The room was on the top floor and a nice size, bathroom was not super clean but not too bad. Floor and commode needs to be replaced (age and worn) but water pressure in the room was good and supplies were adequate. There was LOTS of noise early in the morning, think someone had put their kids out in the hallway to play and it also made for a messy hallway where "someone" had torn leaves off the plastic tree by the elevator. Breakfast was interesting, was in a small room on the 2nd floor when there is a large area on the main floor that has lots of tables. There were only about a dozen tables in the room, not much room to walk between them and almost no room to get to the small buffet that was offered. The hotel is a beautiful building and could be an awesome hotel with a little work.

Overall pleasant experience for the price we paid.

the hotel is close to everything but the room was not comfortable at all! bed was very uncomfortable and the AC unit broke during our stay and NONE OF THE ICE MACHINES WORKED!!!

We got there late and my grands wanted to go swimming and we were told the pool was closing in 4 minutes. Went to room Internet was having problems and was told they were waiting on parts for it and internet would only work occasionally. went to bed promising grands to go swimming next day. Woke up early and went to pool only to be told the pool was broke. Will not stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here after a long day at the theme parks- the room was clean , the staff was polite, and the location was close to everything.Would stay again!

great time

The room was so tiny that the roll away bed was partially on top of the other bed. The sheets were covered in hair, it was disgusting. The pool was very nice, though. When we were checking in, the staff person was not professional, but everyone else was friendly, that worked there. They need mini frig's in the rooms.

Very nice, clean, quiet & comfy place for an overnight stay.

The only problem we had with our stay involved the free breakfast. We got there at the time we were given to go to the breakfast and there was no seating available, there were long lines to get any type of food. My husband and I both grabbed a bagel (there was no cream cheese left) and went to McDonald's a little later after we finished packing up our car.

breakfast sucked. converted an old hotel room into the breakfast area. overcrowded, not enough tables and nothing stocked.

The hotel is very old and damp smelling. the room had a mildew smell.

There was no WI FI and my bed had a dent in it. Making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep.

Very clean and staff most helpful

Days inn is an ok place. Few things that bothered me the most are: lack of good ventilation, the bathroom lacked fan so all the mist from taking the shower lingered all over the room. When I first opened to the room the smell was overwhelming. It seemed to me that somebody was trying to spray air refresher to cover up the smell of the room. I complain about it because the smell was making me dizzy. In addition there was no fridge or microwave. The lack of fridge was a big minus for me. But other than the place was ok. It seemed clean enough and close distance from bush gardens. It took me on average about 10-15 minutes to get to theme parks.

The room was fine. No fridge in the room. Out of the five floors, only 2 of them had running ice machines. There was no ice the entire time we were there. When we inquired, we were told that maybe people were filling up coolers. We asked if they could put a sign up that said not to fill up coolers. They would not. Finally, we had to go buy our own ice at the store next door. They said people staying at the hotel had been buying ice all day. For the price we spent, the least we could do was get ice!!!!!

good stay, clean smelt fresh,good customer service

The hotel has gone downhill since I last stayed there 5 years ago. I booked it because it was nice last time I visited Williamsburg. The staff is very helpful and accomodating, the challenge is the hotel has not been maintained. The fourth floor hall way has no air conditioning and the smell is unbearable. There was no air conditioning in the breakfast room and it was 101 degrees outside. The staff does the best they could with what they have to work with, which is not much. I won't be staying here again.

We spent two days without wifi connection. They said their system was down. We have to switch our room twice because of airconditioning problem. I wont recommend this hotel to any friends.

Great hotel on the outskirts of Williamsburg. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very nice and made it easy to get a great night of rest.

Pros - good location, just minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Busch Gardens. There is a Walmart, Burger King, Chick-fil-a, and Starbucks just on the other side of the freeway that runs behind the hotel. There is a gas station next door that is priced about average for the area. Cons - my seven-month pregnant wife had a difficult time sleeping on the bed, but the rest of us were fine. The rooms do not include a fridge or microwave. The wifi was not vey strong or reliable, but the lobby has an office off of it that is great for getting work done in a pinch.

This Hotel was very clean: no hair, bugs or anyother things i cant stand. The front desk people wear very slow and not too friendly. The breakfest if you want to call it that was bad that may be the only down fall to this place. We did not get in the pool I can not say anything on that.

I chose this hotel because of its location. i found it to be very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was quite helpful. Even though the hotel is conveniently near the highway, the rooms are quiet. The king bed was comfortable, the room was large, and the bathroom was functional. Although I usually stay at a Hampton, this Days Inn suited me perfectly for this visit. For the price point, or even for a higher price point, this Days Inn exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again!
