Great food at the restaurant!!! My room was thoroughly cleaned and setup each day - very impressive!

Well pleased overall with our two-night stay - good location for sight-seeing, high standard of cleanliness and comfort, good-size room and comfortable bed, and good hotel service and amenities. As it is largely a business area not an abundance of local restaurants for the evening but that was a minor issue. The hotel advertised 'panoramic views' from its rooms but our room looked out onto the back of an office building so worth checking when booking/on arrival!

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - DC. The staff was very accommodating and full of information on things to do that we would not have found in any of the guidebooks. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights with our 3 year old...king bed room was perfect, including refrigerator and a microwave...super clean...room service was so good, nice and generous...I definitely recommend this hotel..

This hotel is located right in the middle of the action in Washington DC. It was only a few short blocks from the White House and all the other attractions. Good neighborhood that I felt safe walking around at night. The price of the room was phenomenal, which left more money for drinking and eating! The staff was very friendly, and I loved the complimentary cookies, coffee, and water they had in the lobby at all times. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Washington DC.

The hotel is conveniently located at and affordable price. Close to all points of interest and sightseeing. Within walking distance of the White House and on a main street so taking a cab is quick and painless. The staff is friendly and the room was very clean. I'd suggest requesting a higher floor with views of 14th St. If I had to take points away from it'd be for the so-called gym just being an small exercise room.

Employees are very courteous and helpful., especially the valet parking staff and the greeter.

The Hilton Garden Inn, downtown DC, was an excellent value for its location. We were only minutes from the White House and easy walking distance to the monuments and museums. Friendly front desk, nice, spacious rooms (for a city location) and a reasonable price. What more can you ask? (Oh, yeah, cheaper parking, but what can you do?)

Only had a day to be in DC, this was a great location. A few blocks from the White House. We then purchased tickets for the double decker bus for a day to be able to see the most in our short time.

Great time and good service. It was three blocks to the White House and Federal Circuit Courthouse. I would stay here again for the reasonable rate charged.

Stayed with my wife and 3 kids for a night to see the sights, close to everything, very clean, comfortable, staff was great, free wifi in lobby and business center. Great restaurant next door called Cosi. Would stay again without hesitation, only negative was the jack wagon playing sax at 7am outside the hotel, we were facing the street on 5th floor and it woke us up.

Stayed here for a sight seeing vacation. Across the street from the metro and within walking distance to White House and Government Mall. Also very close to Capital City Bike Share which was an excellent way to see the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel service was helpful with information regarding the nearby eats and sites.

Told me that they were sold-out and couldn't honor my reservation. They offered to move me to the Hampton Inn, which is way less nice. I had no choice but to accept because they DIDN'T TELL ME UNTIL AT CHECK-IN. Awful experience. Don't go here.

Great location if visiting D.C. Located near the White House and the Smithsonians.

Very nice clean and efficient hotel near the White House and the convention center. Nice people at the desk. Clean and efficient room.

Warning: if you stay here check that there aren't worker areas outside of your window... Our sleep and our children's sleep was disrupted multiple times throughout the night by workers sporadically throwing away bottles or talking loudly. We were on the second floor and the noise came from both outside the window and in the hallway. Very unfortunate.

My wife and I stayed there for a week. The location is perfect for visiting all the attractions. We walked everywhere. Beautiful clean city with very friendly people. Loved it!

Situated in the heart of Downtown DC. Metro bus and train at front door..also cabs waiting..near restaurants and other major food chains.

A great hotel experience. Everything was clean and comfortable. Since there's no real shopping in D.C., then you want to be near the sites. This was within walking distance of the White House and Dept. of Treasury.

We were pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to go back.

We were very pleased with our recent trip to DC. This hotel is located in walking distance to all the sights. It is between the White House and Chinatown. We walked everywhere. The staff were very helpful and polite. We would stay at this hotel again.

We wanted to be in the close proximity to the White House, and this Hotel is about 3 blocks away Hotel parking for a day $30 +tax $11= $41 a day for parking Hotel restaurant served average food, we are from New York City, it is hard to please us

I'm someone who typically stays at less expensive hotels, but this was all that was available. All of the museums and whatnot are in walking distance, you're next door to the White House, and there's always cab drivers outside the hotel. It was a very clean and comfortable hotel. I'm glad I chose this hotel given the other, more expensive alternatives.

My mother and I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my brother, our stay was very pleasant . The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint I had was the water does not get very hot and the water pressure was not very strong. Other than that everything else was great.

I plan on staying here again. It was a great location - a quick walk to the White House and other sites, across from the Metro, food nearby and wonderfully comfortable. And I loved the fresh apples in the lobby. I can't say enough about how pleased I was.

We had a very nice time in dc, this is a great hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. And A+ to the staff.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to see the sights of Washington, and for the price, I think it is hard to beat in the area. The Hotel is nothing fancy, but seemed to do everything right. The only disappointment was that the restaurant in the Hotel was great (and a bit pricey), but there were plenty of decent options nearby.

So easy to get to using metro from Reagan National and central to everything we wanted to do. Staff were friendly and helpful, including great doorman and what I might call a tour guide in the lobby. We got maps, directions, cabs, and cheerful greetings. Thanks to all for a comfortable visit.

I stayed for five nights with daughter and and grandsons and we all had a wonderful time, not only visiting the important museums and government buildings and walking our heads off (even in the pouring rain one evening to get to a restaurant-bookstore!), but also little pool, great for children, an occasionally sitting in the lobby. The staff was outstandingly courteous, helpful, and friendly. Congratulations and keep it up!

The Hilton Garden was steps away from the White House, great restaurants and parking. Even overlooking AC units, the room was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting DC.
