Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Metro Airport - رومولوس

The hotel was very nice. It had an excellent upscale appearance and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. It is an excellent location for anyone coming or going that enjoys a stay close to the airport. It is right next door. It is a bit of a drive if you are considering it for a visit to the UofM facility in Ann Arbor. I was extremely impressed with the fact that this facility did not jack their rates up for the graduation weekend like all the other facilities. Typically the rates tripled across the board however, I got a rate lower than most places when nothing is going on. The hotel was extremely clean, well kept and offered a wonderful restaurant right in the lobby.

very nice, only wished there were more places in the lobby to sit down and play cards. Since there was no room in the rooms.

We have stayed here 3 times. Everytime we get lost getting to the hotel. Need a tall sign out on Merriman in the median at Smith Road. Everything else was fine!

Poor communication between the desk manager (Lori) and the shuttle driver left us stranded at the airport in freezing cold for nearly 30 minutes. The desk manager was unhelpful (rude) on our third call of enquiry, and was nowhere to be found when we arrived at the hotel. The night desk manager (Arthur) did his best to make up for the poor treatment and for that he deserves recognition.

Typical Garden Inn near DTW. Staff was professional and courteous. Hotel van picked us up at the Airport at 1:00 A.M. and ran on time. The only drawback to this location that the restaurants are several blocks away but if you are just looking for a clean, well run hotel for an overnight near the airport this will work just fine.

surprised how nice and clean the hotel was because of the area. The bed was very clean and comfortable. we were told we could keep our car there till we returned in 4 days free. This was not the case. We would stay again.

We arrived at 3:00 and was told that our room was not ready. We had to wait until 3:45 to check in. The lady at the front desk was rude about it. The room was clean and that is the most important thing to me when considering a hotel.

The staff at this hotel is exceptional. They cannot do enough for you. The free Wi-Fi is also important. I will be staying there again this weekend.

Hotel staff was very good and helped arrange transportation the next morning for an off-site meeting. Room was clean and comfortable. The in-house bistro was very good with a varied menu and good prices.

My stay was pleasant & the price was great, access to freeway was perfect, no jaccuzi but not a deal breaker, definitely a winner!

Only Negative---Booked two rooms double beds. Got Kings

This hotel was excellent, the room was clean, well maintained and the service was quick and easy. We stayed over night and flew out the next morning, the hotel is minutes away for Detroit Wayne County. There is an airport nearby so of course expect to hear airplanes throughout the night. Overall a great hotel at a great price.

The Hotel overall was ok. The swimming pool and hot tub were great and clean. Customer service was hit ot miss at the front desk thou. The staff was great if you talked to the right oe. The house keeping was great they kept the room clean over my entire stay. But if you needed any assistance you had to call the front desk and wait on them to tell the maids. The location is close to the airport and a few places to eat close by. But was at least a 15-20 minute drive to real stores.

The thing that stood out about this hotel was the service. Things were not perfect - the room lock for our original room was broken, we didn't have enough towels at first, and the maid didn't change the sheets as our note card requested, but each one of these things was taken care of very quickly and cheerfully. The staff was very detail-minded and strived to make the hotel the very best. This hotel was of an excellent quality, far better than anything else at this price. I would definitely stay there again.

Convenient to airport, directions are a little difficult to navigate, previously have stayed at Hilton Garden Inns in other cities and I like their hotel, the lobby was under maintenance and the service for breakfast was not unavailable overall a good stay for the price

The location is very convenient if you need to stay near the airport. You will hear the sound of planes overhead day and night so consider this if you're a light sleeper. The hotel is upgrading and attentive to good upkeep. One day our room got skipped for cleaning, but manager was apologetic and sent someone with fresh towels and cleaning supplies even housekeeping was closed. Shuttle service to airport and car rentals is an added plus. I would stay here again.

Excellent room. Only a short overnight stay between seminar days. VERY slow checkin because of some problem with another reservation and limited staff. Probably a one off.

We stayed 2 nights on our way to a hostel. The hotel was very comfortable. The bed was great! The staff was EAGER to be helpful in every way. The neighborhood was so-so. Convenient to airport, but not much to do. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants be be near the airport. You will be very comfortable here.

Very friendly staff. The room are very clean and comfortable. bed are cozy with adjustable softness or hardness for the mattress.No complaints at all !

The staff was excellent - very friendly and accommodating. The bed wasn't made properly - short sheet on the right side. That's the only real complaint.

We actually live in a nearby town. We wanted our girls to feel like we were taking them someplace "fancy" (for an affordable rate). The staff went above and beyond for us. My 9 year old has a fear of elevators. She saw a maintainance man and asked him if he would ride in the elevator with us in case it broke down...Not only did he, but every time he saw her in the lobby there after he made a point to wait by the elevator and take the ride with us. Furthermore, the hotel and grounds are kept very clean as well as the common areas. The room was comfortable, no noise. The staff let the girls swim as long as they wanted to. We were very pleased with our stay.

I was tired and just wanted to sleep but it was dinner time and my stomach wanted food. Most hotels have lousy and/or overpriced food. This hotel is an exception! I had their special (whitefish) and a glass of wine and my bill with tip was right at $25 and the food was delicious! Do NOT hesitate to eat here. The front desk was very courteous both in the evening and at the crack of dawn. The shuttle was complimentary to the airport - even at 4:30 in the morning. Great value as the price was excellent for the accomodations.

The staff was very courteous and the hotel was clean. The only issue I had while I was there was that the hot tub wasn't working. Other than that it was a great stay.

We really like the hotel, it was clean, fast check in, very helpful. We would go back to stay there for sure.

We stay here whenever we have to travel to Detroit and the room is always fresh, the front desk always very helpful and courteous. The pool is kept clean and inviting. The hot tub is extremely chlorinated though and will pull all the color off your bathing suit., so beware! Don't go in it!

I flew in from Cabo San Lucas around 1 a.m. The desk clerk, Stacy, was waiting for me, asked if I needed a wake-up call and scheduled me for a ride to the airport at 7 a.m; she was so kind. Stacy was still there when I left the next morning - cheerfully greeted me (by name) and asked how I slept. She offered me coffee and to me on the shuttle to the airport. Great customer service and a comfortable bed!

most of the hotels or motels in us offer continental or courtesy breakfast, but this hotel did not or I wasn't told about that.

Clean and nice, got a great deal from hotels.com! but wasn't worth much more...kinda loud @ nite, but we are heavy sleepers so it didn't bother us to much.....main issue was the toilet overflowed:( disgusting! Overall decent but wouldn't stay again.....doesn't follow the Hilton name :(

My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to Detroit Metro Airport, located in a central location to visit sites in Detroit and Ann Arbor, offered great value at affordable rates, and had an enthusiastic staff ready to address questions and provide travel information. Along with the hotel's dining room, several good affordable restaurants were available in the immediate area. This hotel is highly recommended for anyone needing accommodations in this area.
