Good. It's in a very nice location, however, the outside appearance could be improved. Especially, the entrance canopy refurbished to give it an overall good look and the stairway, kept cleaner. There was some litter there. These are easy things to be taken care of. I really liked the room, and as requested, was void of any cigarette smell. That was really GOOD. Thank you

Room smelled of strong smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Free breakfast wasn't served until 8:30, long after we had to check out to attend a meeting. We couldn't check out as scheduled, as no one was at the desk (lobby locked up) at 8 when they were scheduled to open. Also, no one to complain to as the desk isn't manned from 6pm until 8am the next morning. I would have preferred to change to a true non-smoking room.

I loved the location of this hotel. Right on the water and close to all historical sights. Perfect place to be for the annual thanksgiving day parade.

It was fine for what it was. Rooms are on outside hallway. Heating system is either ON or off, so ended up waking up in night sweating. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

The hotel was conveniently located for all amenities. The room was large and clean. Unfortunately on the second day we came back from being out all day and ort room had not been cleaned and the dirty towels were still in the bath. Despite phoning reception, who said they would delivery clean towers, I evenually had to go downstairs and collect them myself. Not a word of apology. Although the room was clean, it was more like a motel than a hotel, and ther surrounding passageways and corridors were very shabby and run down.

A decent hotel with a very good receptionist. But no coffee maker in our room and they could not provide one. Excellent location for historic Plymouth.

Got there and the lady at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. We needed to arrange for a taxi to get to a wedding and she gave us an old photocopied paper with 2 cab company numbers on it. One was a personal address, not a taxi company!!! The room was disgusting and smelled like mold. Air conditioner made noise all night off and on. The beds were old and extremely uncomfortable. Sheets had stains and pillows were lumpy. We were given 2 towels for 4 adults! Overall I would highly recommend NOT staying at this Inn.

First of all I walked into the room to the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke and mildew. This was incredibly upsetting after a long day wanting only to come and relax. There was so much water damage and the room and furnishings were far outdated in comparison to the description and pictures posted on the website. I am incredibly dissatisfied. The shower wasn't clean, the bathroom door was in disrepair and there was not even a blow dryer in the room. Needless to say I will not recommend this hotel for a future stay

This hotel is convieniently located to great shops, restaurants and water activities but I would not recommend it to anyone. There is a quaint B&B accross the street on the opposite corner that is also on Water Street that we would have moved to if we were staying longer than one night. Our bathroom was never cleaned from the last person. There was a used washcloth and their personal bar of soap with hair on it in the shower. The tub had skid proof stips that were half on and flopped around. The shower was very old. There was a portable refrig plugged under the sink you had to maneuver around. There was a $10. upgrade for water view with a walk through balcony to the other guest rooms. There were only two towels in the room that were paper thin and the size of a pillowcase. I used the Bathmat to dry off so that I can have a towel to dry my hair and leave one for my husband. From now on, I will check the towels in the room when we check in and get extra before the next morning's shower. Lesson learned for future hotel visits. This hotel has a lot of potential. It is in a great town located accross the street from the water but I would suggest to stay somewhere else.

This hotel definitely needs a re-do. Beds OK but sheets and blankets are old. No hair dryer in room. Adequate for what we needed, but pretty run down. Good location.

Picked the hotel for location and was not disappointed, immediate access to everything. Breakfast was simple but convenient. Room was musty and old, bathroom was evidently aged and needing repairs but worked.

When booked this hotel it was the perfect location for saeeing the Mayflower, plymouth rock etc. I read some of the reviews whichmostly complained about outdated things and thin towels... That would have been the least of my concerns. This hotel was terrible! It had a very heavy urine oder as well as dirty floors. When we pulled down the sheets they had never been changed and had hair in them. When we asked for a new room giving the condition of this one the front desk staff was accomodating. That second room was worse than the first one. Very Very Dirty Hotel! My family and I left this hotel and were prepared that since we paid through a third party that we may not get our money back. We drove 20 miles away to a different hotel that was so much better. I called the third party who I booked the hotel through the next morning and was refunded my money. This is not a FAMILY hotel and you should not bring your children here.

Hotel was ok, towels could be replaced - a bit thin, bathroom dated. Service was good. Room was clean, rate with web discount not bad. Pool on the small side.

This is the only hotel in the area that accepts pets, which is the sole reason we selected it. We had booked for 4 nights. We had no maid service the first day. On our second day, the only thing the maid did was make the bed. We had no towels, toilet paper, kleenex. Our trash can was overflowing. The frig froze all our fresh fruit. The hallways are filthy. The only positive things I can say are: (1) the location in Plymouth is excellent and (2) Ashley at the front desk has great customer service skills. Recommend you book elsewhere!!!

More to see at Plymouth then we knew

Trying to turn the metal key to get into the room was a challenge. Door knobs are super old. After the two of us finally geting into the room, there was no electricty in the room (excempt the bathroom). We could not turn on room lights or the television. Was told this was an ongoing problem. Hotel needs some serious renovations done.

Good location, friendly staff. Although there are 'improvement projects' underway, the facility is still aged. The exterior door did not close correctly enough for the deadbolt to engage. We had to try three rooms before we found one that was 'clean'. We found hair and toothpaste in the sink of the first one, the second room stunk, the third room was the least of the three evils. If the housekeeping were better, then I'd recommend this hotel because I can deal with worn furnishings and repainted wall paper. But I cannot get over uncleaned countertops and sinks and unvacuumed carpet. Glad we only had to stay two nights. Also, for a four person room, there were only 2 bath towels. Also, the breakfast did not include any cereal nor milk. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful in letting us try other rooms. We loved the location and the neighborhood. Try other locations first, but if you do book this place, you just need to have your expectations adjusted before you arrive and you'll be fine. G. Hobe

We booked a king size bed and no smoking room, but on inquiring they said they didn't have king beds and there was no smoking allowed in hotel. There difinitly had been smokers because of smell and there was an ash tray on desk.

My friends and I stayed here the night before a big running relay race. We needed someplace cheap to crash the night before and we definitely found it here. This hotel lacks amenities BUT if you are looking for someplace cheap, clean, and convenient, this is your place. The staff was friendly and helpful and they offered a free breakfast at the hotel. It is literally across the street from the Mayflower and about a block from Plymouth rock. Lots of resturants and shops within walking distance too. My only criticism is that some of the rooms we booked reeked of cigarette smoke (even though they were non smoking) and the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable.

Well there was Two drunk people walking into my room at like 1:00 in the morning. Told front desk about it was supposed to get a call back. Still waiting.

While the location is great - right along the waterfront and close to tourist attractions - this hotel is not for the faint of heart. The rooms were severely outdated and the bathrooms, while respectably clean, frightened me. Since the rooms open up onto outdoor corridors, I expected the door locks to be more secure. It is an okay place to stay in a pinch and it's affordable, but I think that next time, I'd rather spend the extra $$ and stay at one of the local B&Bs.

The hotel building is in poor condition and should be updated before being offered to guests. The price for the guest rooms is way too much for the what is offered in terms of the size, condition, and overall ambiance of the rooms and building.

It's definitely time for a lick of paint but it's still fine and the location certainly makes up for it. If you're interested in the first European settlers in New England then this is a convenient location - leave your vehicle in the hotel carpark and see the town on foot.

Beautiful period design hotel. Colonial decor and warm friendly staff. Must get a room with a fireplace- worth the extra expense. Staff was helpful and quick to meet requests (extra hangers, towels, etc..) Would NOT recommend restaurant in hotel- food not matched with quality and detail of hotel accomodation. Many other delicious restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Walking distace to all historical sites. On-site Beach Plum Spa was lovely. Would stay at hotel again-just skip the Hearth & Kettle restaurant..

As we were checking out we looked under the beds to make sure we didn't leave anything and there were mouse catchers under each bed. That grossed me out.

did not stay over night, had to leave. place was very dirty, no towels, just very disapointed.

STAY AWAY FROM RM 212!!!! i have just returned from my weekend stay at the bradford and let me tell you i am glad to be home!!!! dont be fooled by the "newly renovated rooms and lobby" the lobby is the only renovated part of the entire hotel!!!! after checking in we headed to our room which we could not get in to!! the key did not work!! we went back to the front desk where they called the "maintenance" man. after an hour of waiting he finally showed up. his excuse was the "door knobs are old you have to pull and jiggle the key" he told us he would change the knob which was NEVER done!! upon walking in to the room we quickly realized this is clearly not what was advertised on hotels.com!! we ordered a non smoking room and this room smelled like somone had just lit up!! we noticed the comforter on the bed had numerous blood stains on it so we called the front desk to see if we could change rooms. they said there were no other rooms available!! we asked for another comforter which housekeeping did bring and this one also had mysterious stains on it!! this room was disgusting!!!!! numerous stains throughout the room/curtains. behind bathroom door was a pile of hair and paper that was NEVER cleaned the whole time we stayed!! my wife and i literally slept in pants and long sleeves!! housekeeping is VERY POOR to say the least!! all they did was add new towels and make the bed!! they did not clean ANYTHING!!!!! the morning after the first night our toilet (which ran all day and night) clogged!! we called the front desk and they told us they would take care of it! we left at around 8:30am and returned at 5pm. the toilet was never touched!!! we called the front desk once again and were told "im sorry we may have forgotten about it". they sent the same maintenance man which did nothing. he said "i am going to have to tell my supervisor about this"!!!! so i myself got the toilet to flush!! i did what they could not!!!! the staff and hotel are of VERY VERY POOR QUALITY!!!! we h

Veryyyy Disappointed with that one night we stayed there and we were supposed to stay another 4 nights. Do NOT go to this hotel it is disgusting!!! The pictures are deceiving, it is not at all how the pictures shows it to be!!! I have pictures to prove it! We arrived late at night from NJ, when we got there every minute we would find something dirty, like if they do not clean the rooms at all, just make the beds. The carpet was dirty and had stains all over the place, the bathroom was disgusting, the sink that is outside the bathroom had some spit residue by the handles, the little fridge was COMPLETELY dirty, the chairs had some type of stain and one of them looked like vomit or blood. Then under the pillow cases, it was disgusting, it had drool stains. The pool also isn't how the pictures show it to be. We couldn't sleep, we wanted to get out of there right away but it was raining and already tooo late to look for another place to stay plus we had driven like 5.5 hrs. I called Hotels.com and complained right away b/c we were NOT going to stay there another night! We went to another hotel and they even said that this Hotel is known for its disgustingness and dirtiness! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!! DON'T be fooled by the pictures how we were!! This is the BRADFORD digust-INN!!

The location was excellent, however, parking was not very good and the hotel could use so major updates for instance the door handle on the door look as as if it were replaced, but inorder for the new knob to fit properly there was a piece of board nailed on with the new knob, hotel should have replace the whole door for the price that you pay per night for the room

Fine for a night, but would have rather stayed in one of the quaint B&Bs next door. Smells like a motel

Terrible place. People were partying and making a lot of noice without any reaction from the staff.
