Great location and good value for the money. Mini size TV at room was not so nice...

Good hotel at good location with friendly staff. Cleaner visited our room every day. Good quality at low price. Television could have been better (and bigger!) and there were no minibar/fridge at our room. Small balcony was a nice surprise!

Grey, poor quality hotel with rock hard beds, double beds made by throwing two single mattresses together with two rubbish duvets tossed on top. The only way this place could be good is with it being a Stasi themed hotel. Location good for W. Berlin though. The internet is expensive and slow too.

The hotel is not bad one if you are looking for somewhere to crash! However, there is a building site just next to it which is going to be going for a while so if you are i nteh hotel between 8 in the morning and 6 in the evening... you had it. Its too noisy with construction work and you will be fumming. No apologies were received from the hotel. So just go somewhere else if you want my advice! I hope thishelps.

Very nice located hotel. You came easy around where you want. A minus and that was that the beds were very hard. We were 3 people who lived there and all slept very badly because of the beds was not good

Excellent place to stay staff very helpful. Very clean breakfast expensive for whats on offer. Hotel entrance very had to see could do with putting another sign on the street. Otherwise would recommend it to friends and family very conveniently situated to all amenities

A great hotel with great convenience to supermarket and the U-bahn stations. The service is good and nice though the staff is not so clever that they may not have helpful answers to your questions. The wifi is bad that you have to not only pay for it but you have to stand it's lousy speed. The toilets and bathrooms are clean and tidy. In conclusion, the price is reasonable if you are not looking for really quick speed internet.

Overall, the Hotel Berlinerhof was good value for the money. The hotel is well situated close to transit lines that access major sites and airports. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. If you can get over the smell of urine at the building entrance (tucked in a hidden corridor) and the wear and tear of the building, the hotel is worth the visit.

I found it very good compared to its price, specially with its business room and kitchenette. Very good for families.

Family of six -- parents and four teenage daughters. Rented three double rooms. We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel Berliner Hof. I read the reviews and if anything surprised me it was this -- the rooms were much bigger than I expected but the entrance and hallways were worse. The entrance is kind of inside a narrow passageway to a shopping mall; the sliding glass entrance doors only lead to an elevator; and the cramped reception is on the second floor. Still, once checked in, the rooms were big and clean, and of course the price was right, which is why we selected this hotel. But you should be aware that this is not the city center. While the hotel is surrouded by shopping and restaurants, if you want to go to the city center it's a five minute walk to the S-bahn and then another 10-20 minute ride to get downtown. Also, at 12 euro per person per day (a total of 60 euro for our family), we skipped the buffet breakfast. Even so, overall, we were quite satisifed with our stay and with the hotel, neighborhood and location.

Over all, it is conveniently located. But surrouding is bit noisy and some road project is going on. Another problem is, the hotel does not have a usual hotel front reciption area. It took us walking several arounds before find it. Suggest to put a note for travellers to locate it.

Very good location, close to Zoo Station, KaDaWe and shops, nearby tour buses easy to access to see the city. Lovely little hotel once you've located the entrance!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and although basic in decor, it was very comfortable and spacious. The location could not be better. Highly recommended.

When we arrived we were met by a very friendly receptionist who told us everything we needed to know, she also offered us help/advice which we took her up on a lot. The hotel entrance was a bit concealed but we still found it no problem, it is situated in an ideal location near the zoo s-bahn and other big attractions. Regardless of whether or not you walked right or left when you came out the door you came across shops, restaurants the zoo or the huge department store to name a few. The hotel was so clean and our room was lovely and comfortable. When we visited Berlin it was -4 degrees and the hotel was allways lovely and warm as was our rooms. I had read reviews of the Hotel which said that it could be noisy, our room was facing the main street but at night we didnt hear a thing. The receptionist was almost like a tour guide which we really appreciated. I would recommend this Hotel to anybody and will be returning.

the hotel is in a very good location' the rooms are big and clean, very nice and kind stuff

The hotel was chosen for its reasonable price and location in Charlotenburg and it did lived up to expectations. The hotel is tucked away in a shopping mall but overlooks one of the main shopping street in Berlin and one of the many Christmas markets. Although we used it only as a base it was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. As a bonus drinks can be ordered from reception at extremely reasonable prices!

We received a warm welcome from the receptionist upon arrival. The hotel entrance is situated inside a busy shopping centre but you would not know this when you are inside-the rooms are very quiet, warm and clean. Decor was a little dated but for the price of the rooms, this was a minor problem. Some staff we found to be a little patronising, when we asked for anything extra for example, extra pillows we were met with an odd look, but we laughed this off! :D One person travelling with us is a coeliac and the receptionist could offer us no information on where supermarkets or suitable restaurants could be, so make sure to research this beforehand if you have any special dietary requirements! ;) Breakfasts were expensive at 12euro p/p, but there are plenty of restaurants, bars and fast food outlets around. There is also a supermarket nearby which supplies anything you could want including a deli and bakery. The hotel is situated between U-Bahn and S-Bahnstations (Kurfurstendamm and Zoolischer Garten), from which you can reach all the tourist areas, airport etc. As we were doing a lot of sightseeing we found it beneficial to get a day ticket (about €6.50) which allowed unlimited travel in a day on all public transport. I would advise getting a ticket as I heard they are very strict if you do not have one! :D Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel as an excellent central base to do all your sightseeing! Avoid if you want luxury but it was great to come back to at night after a day walking in the cold! P.S. Do not make the mistake of hitting the pay channel buttons as one of us did-they had to pay €40.00 extra because he hit the button accidently two days in a row, total time on channels was twelve mins so this was costly! ;) There is a small sign under the T.V. that explains this so make sure to read it-unlike him!

My wife was skittish about the location tucked in a shopping mall with casino and erotica ads flashing about and the taxi driver, a local, couldn't find it , but when we arrived at the check in things calmed down a bit. The decor is not 4 star, but the price isn't either. A bellman surprised us to pick up our luggage and was cordial and well dressed. It was late when we arrived, and from the check in and after it was fine. Good room, friendly staff great location for getting around.

We enjoyed our stay, location next to Europa Center, metro 100 meters from hotel, breakfast was not included with the room and required 12 euros per person. Staff were very kind and helpful.many restaurants and cafes all around the hotel. Great room for price.

hotel was located in the center of the busiest shopping street in berlin, rooms were very clean and big. staff were extremely helpful and had very good english. there was even a computer in reception to use for free with free internet. would defiantly recommend to anyone traveling to berlin.

At first I was sceptical because I just didn't expect the hotel to be in a shopping mall and it has a real communist-era feel and look on entry. However, the staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The room was huge, excusing the woodchip wallpaper, it was really comfortable and quiet considering its central location. The shower was almost comical, suddenly changing temperature from freezing cold to very hot but you're able to run a bath. Overall, it was great value for money and would probably stay here again.

The hotel is well located in a bustling part of the city centre. I had a very pleasant stay here and the staff were very helpful.

Vi hadde et fint opphold i Berlin. Hotellets beliggenhet kunne ikke vært bedre. Bygningen som hotellet var en del av, var under ombygning, og selve oppgang og resepsjon var derfor svært enkel og slitt. Rommene var derimot store og fine, overhodet ingen støy fra gaten, og frokosten var også helt grei.

Var det ikke for de elendige senge(tyk skum madres uden fjedre og hårde som sten) ville vi helt klart vælge hotellet igen.

Hvis man går efter beliggenhed, så er dette hotel perfekt. Lige midt på en super shoppinggade - Tauentzienstrasse - og lige om hjørnet fra zoo og aquarium. Tourbusser passerer lige igennem gaden, så man let kan blive fragtet til de store seværdigheder. Ang. værelser boede vi 2 voksne og en 3-årig - værelset var delt op, så vi kunne lukke af til vores 3-årige, helt perfekt, omend det ikke er et luksushotel. Ganske udmærket morgenmadsbuffet. Masser af parkeringshuse i nærheden. Super god ferie i en dejlig by.

Er et enkelt, lidt ældre hotel, men beliggenheden er fantastisk og servicen god. Pænt og rent værelse.

God beliggenhed meget hårde madrasser morgenmaden kunne godt blive meget bedre.

Der er en del larm fra vejarbejdet på gaden. Desuden var sengen ikke god da den var meget hård.

Perfekt hotell med bra service och nära till allt Stort familjerum är underbart när barnen börjar bli stora men inte kan bo själva än

Lyst og koselig frokostrom, god frokost, store fine rom og sentral beliggenhet. Ein ting kunne ha vore betre og det var sengene. Madrassene var sjeldan harde. Det er ivertfall lenge sidan eg har sove på ei så tynn madrass på ein hard sengebunn.

Alles ist gut, auch zu Fuß, erreichbar. Tolle Lage. Durch die Bauarbeiten ist die Tiefgarage leider nicht benutzbar, was bei den hohen Parkgebühren schon zu Buche schlägt. Das Frühstück ist mit 12,-- € zu teuer, zumal für Orangensaft extra bezahlt werden muss. Ein paar Meter weiter gibt es bei Kamps für 3,99 ein tolles Frühstück.

Well It really isn't very central and it is quite hard to find when walking there. The bed wasn't comfortable and when I called down to get an extra pillow they needed me to wait 20 min and then come down my self to get it. I did and found out they thought a wanted a blanket... and then asked if i could use that as a pillow. Next thing was that they didn't have any water in the morning, no shower, no toilet and nothing in the tap. they didn't let the guests know or apologized about it ether. I will not stay at this hotel again, and probably not in this area ether because it is quite far and hard to go popular sites from here unless you just want alexander platz or stadmitte. the shopping was good tho.

Hotel Berliner Hof er lokalisert i gangavstand til flere kjente kjøpesenter, ZOO, museum osv. God frokost, store og lyse rom. Reint og fint på rommene. Kan anbefales.
