Excellent value package for the weekend. Lovely choice of evening meal which was very well cooked. Maitre'd was friendly and attentive. All staff - reception, concierge, gym and restaurant were friendly and helpfull. Would definitely stay again

Went here in Feb 2012 and it was fantastic! The hotel couldnt have been in a better location. It was right in the city centre with many bars and restaurants close by. The main shopping area was just 5 minute walk away. There were many attractions (theatre, cinema, musuems, Albert Dock) really close by and both Anfield and Goodison Park football grounds a £5 taxi rise away. The staff were also brilliant, friendly and very helpful! I will definately be returning to Liverpool and wouldnt hesitate to book the Marriott hotel again.

Went here for my birthday was a lovely hotel.The hotel staff were lovely the rooms clean and very comfortable. Would love to go back again as was also very convenient to all the shopping and also just beside both train and bus station. Great break.

Ihave stayed at a couple of hotels in liverpool centre.This hotel was of poor standed to the other hotels.It is in the centre but be aware because of this it is really noisy,inside and out.the breakfast was not very nice poor qualitey.

Room very hot and they could not adjust after repeatedly requesting this

I basically asked for and had it confirmed that I would have a double room. When I checked in and got to my room it was a twin. I called down to the reception to be told that they had no double rooms left and could do nothing for me. I find this incredible that I can book and confirm something and they dont provide it or offer be a discount or anything else! I am disgusted by this - you dont go into a restaurant and order streak, get fish and be expected to just put up with it coz they have ran out of streak. I am not a child and havent slept in a single bed for years. I'm very annoyed to be treated like this.. and wonder if Hotels.com or the Marriott will do anything about it.

Very difficult to get to the hotel by car, due to the restrictive one way/ "buses only" road systems in Liverpool city centre. Sat Nav only takes you to a general area where you can see the hotel 100 yards away but can't get to it due to the above. You then have to take a huge detour and approach the hotel via Lime Street railway station. Otherwise the hotel was very comfortable in the centre of Liverpool by the outdoor bus terminals.

excellent hotel,location fantastic,parking secure.first time in liverpool or 10th the best hotel to stay.

Excellent stay start to finish.

Booked a double room for 1 night mid-week for my wife and I, and chose a great bargain upgrade deal for a penthouse Suite. Champagne and strawberrys. The service was exemplary and due to s slight delay in the room availability we were offered free upgrade a parking plus free drinks during the wait. The only added to a perfect stay. The rooms are clean comfortable and the hotel offers swimming pool / spa facilities. The location is ideal for shoppers and tourists alike, close to Liverpool One and Albert Dock. In addition the hotel is surrounded by a variety of great restaurants. We had a great time.

Just back from an overnight stay in this hotel and in my opinion it it has been the best hotel I have stayed in Liverpool to date. Modern, clean and close to all shops and bars. Will be returning in the furure.

Had a great stay, only stayed for one night, but would go back there again! Hotel was perfect, great central location, Staff were very friendly & helpful!!!

Excellent hotel and location

Hotel and staff were very good. Very disapointed that I had to pay £12 to park my car. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never had to do this before. Plus to pay £100 plus for room only was a little excessive. Breakfast was advertised at £14.95, we went round the corner and got a full english, plus mug of tea for £3.99 and it was excellent.

3 night break.The hotel was perfect. Close to everything. The staff very professional and also very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with the staff very efficient. Could not fault anything.

Location was superb for shopping,food and nightlife. Perfect spot, everything in city centre within walking distance!

Overpriced! The room was expensive enough, but the hotel bar was a rip off and they wanted more for internet access in the room-most hotels would giv this for free especially when you have paid so much for th night. The decor looks like it has not been done since the 80s. There is definitely better value hotels in Liverpool city centre to stay in.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff always willing to assist. Hotel and rooms are very clean and is conveniently located close to the train station and shopping areas.

All in all a very enjoyable experience, and as a woman travelling alone I would definitely stay there again.

A great hotel to stay in, close to all shops, pubs and restaurants. Being in such a busy area thought it would be quite noisy but it wasnt and our room was to the front on busy street. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast in mornings was lovely. Would highly recommend staying here. Was our first time to stay, will definately book again

Very pleasant stay, saw some Beatles tribute bands & enjoyed sight seeing in Liverpool. Pleasantly surprised at your beautiful city. Hotel staff all very pleasant & attentive. 10/10

Hotel great very central, room very comfortable, only had one problem where the room was not cleaned, but called down and this was corrected, so excellent service.

Booked for Beatles week. Excellent location for the City Centre venues. Restuarants, shops and bars all nearbye.

brill location for shopping and clubbing

Hotel is situated right in the centre of liverpool so fanstastic location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa is lovely and the room was beatifully decorated. the price was really good and so was the breakfast. Overall i was really impressed and would highly reccommend.

on geting off the airport bus we only had to walk a few yards to the hotel.checking in was only a few minutes.reception staff were very approachable,room very clean as was bathroom and both cleaned every day.pool was of great advantage as i had my 9yr old grandson,vfery local to all shops would def stay there again

The hotel is dated and is more like a Premier Inn very disappointing. Some of the reception staff need more training on how to deal with customers and general etiquette etc.. On booking a non smoking room we was allocated a smoking floor which was very smokey even in the corridors the room was tobacco fragranced - not pleasant. On asking for a room change we was informed we should have called to confirm our booking with the hotel! On changing rooms the air con did not work and the room smelt like urine we was moved again. In the third room the air con worked the first night and then did not work the next! Very frustrating we decided at this point to give up. You have to pay a £12 overnight parking fee to use a local car park. On a positive the swimming pool, sauna and steam are an adequate size and very clean, the leisure staff were very friendly and the bar staff very polite. The maintenance staff/concierge were very polite and really did their best to try to resolve the defective air con.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was in good location. Parking on site would just liked to have known cost of parking beforehand. Hotel facilitles were brilliant, really enjoyed breakfast. Would definately stay again

Great Hotel. Staff excellent. Conceirge even went outside in the rain to get us a taxi! Room lovely & clean. Would definately recommend breakfast. Secure Car Parking. Really enjoyed our stay. A million times better than the grotty Adelphi!!

Vi ble meget godt mottatt på hotellet og fikk svært god service. Som regel er jeg på hotellet i forbindelse med jobb, men nå var jeg på fotball tur med min sønn. Vi hadde på oss supporter utstyr, men ble likevel behandlet med den samme respekt. En liten detalj som vi likte var når personell hadde ryddet vårt rom og tatt ett supporterskjerf og lagt over putene våre. Det er jo ofte slike små detaljer som gjør at en husker oppholdet.

Sentralt beliggende hotell, pent og greit. Eneste minus: prisen på internettilknytning - rene landeveisrøveriet.

Ligger like i nærheten av Liverpool supporterbutikk.
