They say there is internet however it never worked for me. The hallways stink. Pets apparently are allowed and you can smell them in the hallways.

The building was under construction, they gave me a room with no locks on the windows and they were open, it smelled of smoke. The positive the front desk he was very sweet. I would say if you don't care that someone will come in your window and rob you blind then this is the place for you

It would have been nice if Hotels.com made you aware of the construction going on.. too many construction workers, hallways closed down & if on first floor youhad to take stairs to 2nd floor & walk around to come down another stair case to get to your room in a particular section on the 1st floor... since there is no elevator Very inconvenient

this time around was a complete 360 in everything. the condition of the room, the size of the beds, the comfort level and especially the cleanliness of the room. I was fully satisfied this time around. I hope my future visits (because i travel a lot to this area) are pleasant as this trip was.

The people at the front desk were real nice but almost everything else was really bad. The main issues I had were with the annoying odors. Dogs are allowed and you can smell them everywhere. It also smelled like weed in many areas of the hotel. They do have wifi but it wasn't working well when I was there. And... Don't forget to bring your own shampoo!

The room was nice, clean.. the area is commercial but quiet and has restaurants near by.... the TV didn't have a good picture at all. The staff isn't that great and the ice machine is at the first floor... bit inconvenient. That aside it was a good price.

You hear it all the time, "you get what you pay for" and I gues it was really true in this case but I did not expect it to be this bad. The carpet was dirty, I rented a room with 2 queen size beds and got 2 full size beds instead. I asked for extra towels and they told me I had to go get them myself from up-front. The worse part was the overall condition of the room, the paint, walls, bathroom, etc. I will never rent from a room here again.

No one say anything about renovations plus there is a whole section that looks very bad.

Signal very weak, not convienent to always go to the lobby

When we arrived, the room that we had already paid for was not ready. They asked us to return in an hour. We returned in an hour and room was still not ready. After another 20 minutes of my husband standing at the front desk waiting while i sat in the car with a migraine, they finally gave him a room key and asked him to wait 20 minutes before going to the room because it was still being cleaned. It was hot, and the air conditioner made a horrible noise. The toilet did not flush right and kept getting stopped up. The blanket on the bed was dirty. This is the first bad review i have ever written for any reason, but it definitely deserves the 1 star rating i gave it.

Paper thin walls, bad water pressure with little hot water, no breakfast. Excellent front desk staff, cheap, lots of stores/shops all around.

Like everything about the room the tv it was really comfty

Love the price for the size of room and comfort

I feel if your going to do construction, you can close for a few days to renovate rooms. If you don't, then at least wait until an acceptable hour on the weekends. Was not happy!!

The rooms are very old and need a lot of repair. Bathrooms had holes around the shower tub and tiles were broken on the floor. The door lock was also broken and you could not use the dead bolt. I had to put a chair behind the door just to be sure. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the next room or hallway. Pictues were taken maybe when the hotel was new...it seems like 30 years old once you go into the rooms. Would not recommend to anyone.

Rooms and hallways are smelly ,. although they are remodelling but still carpets in hallway and rooms are stinky and have stains. Beds are small and blankets have holes in them. The girl at reception was nice to talk but couldn't help much as I asked for change of room so she gave another room but I guess all the rooms are equally bad.

its a nice pick for someone planning to stay for a few days. My main purpose to visit places in LA . When I look back now I feel I would have been better off at some hotel closer to LA just because I had a hard time driving through maddening traffic on freeways. The hotel itself if pretty decent. There are quite a few eating places nearby. The room was clean. Only shortcoming I would say was the internet. The connection was slow and very weak. Overall a good buy for its price.

Newly renovated. Pleasant stay. Great value!

Two things I was not pleased with: 1. Carpets in rooms were worn down. Walls and doors around the bathroom needed a 'lift up' as well. 2. Rap music and loud voices from neighboring room. Overall the majority of the guests staying at the hotel were not the most pleasent group to be around. *Otherwise the location is great and with some renovation this hotel could be quite atractive ..

Well for me, and for the price i pay, was great for my budget, it was clean, hot water, no elevater for 2nd floor (if you are dissable), but nice if you need just for sleeping

It was great ,very clean & good to see construction to remodel & the workers did'nt interrupt my stay at all. I am going back next week!!!

.The hotel was under rennovation; however the stay was pleasant...The coffee area was pathetic. We were able to walk around to different restaurants and night spots,

My dad had a big delay at the Airport on Dec 18 night. He missed the person picking him up. So he went straight to the hotel. The Wi-Fi and phone from the room were not working so he wasnt able to let us his family know that he arrived. Dec 19 early morning, we were so worried and called the hotel to check if he checked in. Person on the desk said, he didnt check in (which he actually did), seem receptionist was just waking up. We had to call the airlines, almost called the authorities. We had stayed from this hotel most of time since 2005, esp my dad. Since its conveniently located near target and other stores. It was Quality Inn, then Clarion, then now MOTEL 6. The Bathrooms are dirty, and one time I was there I peaked to the bottom part of the lavatory. Oh gosh, I thought I saw a bone and almost called the CSI.

This motel 6 was one of the worst motel 6 I have stayed at. It had a bad odor and had mold on the bathroom ceiling. The beds were confortable and one of the best beds I slept in. Overall good location just bad motel..

The hotel was a mess and had a stench to it that I wouldn't have my worst enemy stay in. Will not return to this hotel nor would I ever recommend it to anyone in the future.

I reserved a smoking room with a king size bed. When I arrived and checked in, I did receive a smoking room (which in the past has been a problem with availability). HOWEVER, that was the only positive about this room. The room had two FULL beds and the main light in the room did not work. I immediately went back to the front desk to request a room change. Initially, the front receptionist told me there were no king beds available, and that there are no queen beds in the hotel period. All she had to offer me were rooms with full beds, which was unexceptable because my spouse and I are not comfortable in a bed that small. Then the lady stated she did have one room available with a king bed, but the tv reception was terrible and there was another full bed included in the room. I was completely dissatisfied with the availability of this Motel 6. The receptionist seemed unsure, herself, about placing me in that room. That did not make me feel comfortable with the room switch at all. Instead, I called hotels.com and had them relocate me.

the motel looks better in the pictures. we did not shower due to mold and fungus growing around shower/tub drain. i would NOT stay at this motel again.

My stay at this Motel 6 was not a good stay. Due to the fact the desk clerk who check me in had no knowledge of my room I requested, She had to get help from another staff member to check me in. I was giving a room with a broken door knob. The door would not open. I call from the other room that I rented to inform her of the problem with the door. Her response was for me to walk all the way back to the office and she will give me another room, I have heart problem and I was tired so my wife made the walk for me. Upon her return back she notice people just hanging around the area doing nothing. She did not feel safe at this motel, When we were able to get our room , I notice that the smoke detector was missing from the wall. all that was left was the wires hanging. The water was lukewarm it was prevented from going all the way to the hot, I was completed dissatisfied with the stay at Motel 6 BAD Stay

Terrible

Need to remove the ad saying fitness center because Motel 6 does not have one.

This was the best Motel 6 that i have ever stayed in. Howeve i was not at all impressed with the fact that the Motel listed gym and breakfast but had neither.Lastly i understand that the Motel is under constructions and its not that attractive, but once its complete it will be great.

Where do I begin? We were placed in part of the hotel that was under construction. There was a weird smell in the hallway. There was hair particles (not my own) on the sheets when we pulled back the covers. The door handle came off inside the room, able to put it back to get out. The handle for the toilet was bent and basically hanging from base. No amenities (shampoo/conditioner/kleenex). Only 2 good things: great location and the bed was comfortable. We originally had a reservation for 2 nights, but had to modify it due to travel plans. Im glad we did, because I would have been angry with myself if we stayed more than one night there. Will not being going back to that hotel.

I originally chose this hotel because of location and the website stated it had a fitness room. When I checked in and asked about the fitness room hours, I was notified they no longer had a fitness room. To add to this, there was no elevators to get to the second floor, where my room was located. So, needless to say, I got my work out hauling my luggage, laptop and books (I was in the area for a seminar) up the stairs. The hotel was also under rennovation, which the website did not mention. When I went to look for an iron the next morning, I could not find one. When I called the desk, I was told they were in storage, and they had a few available for the guests. If I borrowed it, I had to make sure I returned it and the ironing board to the front desk. I was only impressed with the location. It was across from a mall; and close to my destination, less than 2 miles.

Close to frewy with lots of eatery. shopping across the street. Room ready when we arrived. Parking available.

wall paper stapled to walls, rusty bathroom fixtures, dated/ worn interior, noisy neighbors, really bad neighborhood.

The pros: (1) close to Home Depot Center (2) very courteous/helpful staff (3) WiFi (4) close to mall / Target / dining / Starbucks The cons: (1) room was in EXTREME disrepair (large pieces of crown molding missing, cracks in the walls, faceplate coming off outlet in the bathroom (DANGEROUS!), large areas of paint chipped off, light fixtures flickering / not working / only providing dim lighting (2) unrealiable TV cable connection / channels randomly work or don't work for no apparent reason (3) air conditioning unit did work but was extraordinarily loud (4) surrounding area was industrial / warehouse ... a little seedy This was a decent hotel if you are in town for an event and really only use the room to clean-up and sleep but, if you're looking for nicer accomodations; this is not the place for you. Staff was very nice and helpful but, overall -- the hotel was VERY minimal.
