This is a nice hotel for your vacation with reasonable price.

Satisfied w. everything...Hotel Cleaning staff does a good job...Bathroom shower could have used some attention...

Room was very clean, just a little outdated .For 1 night it had its plus points .The Office Staff seemed very friendly and helpful.It was nice surprise to have a Frig.which kept our drinks very cold and a coffee pot,which I appreciate in the am.The onsite Cafe/restaurant was not only good , it offered a wide variety .The outrigger sits directly on the Beach and that is always a plus,Downside,The pool was small ,so that was disappointing,and no Hot Tub.Otherwise its not fancy but offered a lot for the money.

This place has a great beach, Tiki bar and resturant right on the grounds. We parked our car and never left. Our room was clean and was nicely decorated and the staff was very helpful with any questions we had. An older resort that has been kept up well and has a great location.

Our stay at the Outrigger Resort was wonderful for a beach vacation. The resort is right on the beach. They provide you with towels, a cabana, and lounge chairs. There's a restaurant on the site. The food was good.There was a Tiki Bar with live music during and after happy hour. Our room(which we upgraded) was wonderful and for a reasonable price(we stayed in April).

would go back for the location and rate we got - would not eat at the restaurant again

This hotel is older, but the staff were very friendly and accomodating. My bathroom was not up to par in the room that I initially moved in and they moved to a room closer to the beach and an upgrade. They didn't have to do this, but I appreciated their help. This hotel is a great deal for the price and is located right on a very wide beach (long walk to the water) with awesome sand and waves. I love it there. It was a great place to stay.

A very nice location on the beach with a fantastic little bar. We was a family of 4 with two grown kids and really loved this place.

Great hotel for the price. Amazing location right on the beach. Very comfortable beds. Options for dining right at hotel. Pool was a bit small and overcrowded, but the oceanfront was available as well. Located on a perfect white, sandy beach.

Really enjoyed our stay--no down side--not luxury, but clean, simple and great value.

Strong pet odor and when moved to new area non smoking was still of oder! Very sad, when you drive 19 hrs with children that need a clean bed to sleep.

It feels like a camp ground. People are too tanned, all have tattoos, very very simple. The restaurant is a joke. Nothing good in the area either. Very poor. That said, Staf is very nice. The pool is very nicely warm, clean, room is clean, beds are fine. Rooms are roomy. And the sand beach is superb. So for location a very nice location. But do not expect any grandeur.

Great location for the money spent. Beautiful stretch of beachfront!

We're from Fort Myers and chose to stay at the Outrigger as we attended a wedding on Fort Myers Beach and figured driving home afterwards was not a great idea. Since we're from the area, I know the Outrigger well; have had friends stay there, etc. If you're looking for high end luxury this is not the place, but if you're looking for a fun place with a great pool Tiki bar, a huge beach area, and nice little conveniences then you can't do a whole lot better than the Outrigger. Rooms are efficiencies, so even the standard "room" could potentially sleep 7 or 8: 2 each on the 2 Full beds, and 1 or 2 on the pull out sofa. More on the south end of the beach so away from the craziness of the Lani Kai, for example, but a nice little cruise up Estero Blvd will get you there quickly enough (especially nice if you have a convertible or motorcycle!). Also close to the Beach Theater, which shows 4 first run movies in an atmosphere where they also serve food, beer, and wine. Again, if you're looking for more of a beach atmosphere I think you'll enjoy the Outrigger!

I loved that the hotel was further down on Estero Blvd., away from the craziness! They had a live band several nights, so nice! The beach was white, white, white sand, and the water so refreshing to swim in. One reccomendation: If you rent a bike, make sure you know there is a trolley. We had a flat tire and walked a long 3 mile walk back to the hotel. We were exhausted!

Recently stayed for a week(2-25). Great small resort on a beautiful beach. Hotel service and food great. Very nice Tiki bar with entertainment. Some restaurants within walking distance. Great place to relax.

We stayed at the Outrigger for 4 nights and really enjoyed out time there. If you are all about stars for ratings then this will probably not be a place for you. We enjoyed it because it was simple and fit our needs of a place to get beach access. It has a great location with plenty to do within walking distance or a short drive. We were able to use the kitchenettes to our advantage. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys the beach and outdoors and is not looking for luxury.

We stayed at the resort for four nights. It is not real fancy,but it was clean. It is the best place to watch the sunset. In fact alot of the locals come to watch it from the tiki bar.The beach is very nice; that is if you like sand that feels like powder. Perfect place to walk the beach and pick up shells and sanddollars. The resort has a nice breakfast buffet. Our room had a small kitchen. So you could make meals if you want. There is a 7/11 across the street if you need things and a grocery store about a mile away. Great eating places along that street.

Really cute place, with a lively atmosphere and good amenities. Restaurant has a great menu with reasonable prices and good service. The Tiki bar has live music and was the center of attraction every night. I'd highly recommend it. JL

The hotel is nicely located. The beach is great!! The rooms are outdated and could use new tv and a DVD player, new courtains.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Fun tiki bar. Good diner. Great beach frontage, spectacular sunsets. Walking distance for restaurants and movie theater. Enjoyed our stay.

The Outrigger is a fantastic basic hotel ON the beach! Comfortable rooms, good service and a GREAT location. It has a nice bar and pool right next to the beach. Supermarket nearby and theatre right across the road. You do need a car to get to different restaurants.

Everything about the Outrigger was great! Rooms clean, staff accomodating, price was very reasonable. It's right on the beach so that's a huge plus! One thing we would recommend is to not eat at their cafe on site, (at least not for dinner) food was okay, service wasn't good. Across the street is Charley's Supper Club (owned by the same folks) Food and service there are excellent.

The friendliest staff I have ever encountered. I'm already planning on returning next year. Location is great, quiet yet fun hotel and bar. Right on the beach!

I would stay hear again, nice service people, beach location, but needs a few minor upgrades. Room TV was a 24 inch, not a flat screen or HD

We enjoyed our stay at the outrigger. Good food, good drinks at reasonable prices, friendly service, clean rooms, quick housemaid service. Cannot see the ocean from the pool. The beach is a long walk from hotel to the ocean (just a very long beach), had to pay for ocean lounge chairs.

My husband and I upgraded our reservation to a fantastic room with a king bed, kitchenette, 2 t.v.'s, living area, balcony looking at the gulf, and a spacious bathroom. (Modern hotels don't even compare to this room!) AWESOME! The room was very clean and neat with an up-to-dated kitchen/dining/living area and bathroom. The view from the balcony was breath taking with the palms trees, the water and of course the sunrises & sunsets. The people at the front desk were always friendly and ready to help when we needed answers to questions: nightlife, etc. The "Tiki Bar" was great as was the Deck Cafe. The pool also looked inviting. Don't let the outside mislead you. The room was fantastic! We will be back!

Hotel has a lot to offer with beach, pool, poolside bar. Great stay and very reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beachfront and has a nice tiki bar. Live music is a plus. They should have more than three grills and tables in the picnic area. We did not have a table to eat and that is obviously very uncomfortable when you are trying to have a good time.
